A club that has counted Sir Winston Churchill, Lord Palmerston, Lord Curzon and Jimmy Savile as members
It was Cardinal Basil Hume, at the time the Archbishop of Westminster, who put Jimmy Savile up for membership….
Cardinal Hume was presented with the Order of Merit by the Queen
Savile had to wait only two months before being admitted to the club in 1984.
“It’s a considerable thrill for someone like me to be able to rub shoulders with the fascinating people who use the Athenaeum,” the disc jockey said.
“I hope to go there once a week and have lunch or dinner with the object of speaking to people like ex-prime ministers.”
The cardinal had introduced Savile to Pope John Paul II when he visited Britain in 1982. Of Savile’s election to the Athenaeum, the cardinal’s spokesman noted: “He is a great admirer of what Jimmyhas done for young people – and Stoke Mandeville – and is delighted to help in this matter.”

Patrick Gilbert, friend of royalty, top church official
Athenaeum Club (chairman executive committee 1985-1989)
A top church official who sexually abused a boy of 14 walked free yesterday because it was claimed the shame of jail could jail kill him.
Pervert Patrick Gilbert, a friend of Royalty, molested his victim for four years after paying for him to have ballet lessons. He had sex with him at his luxury home and on foreign trips in his role as boss of the Society for Promoting Christian Knowledge, a Church of England charity.
A leading clergyman who saw them together suspected what was going on, but did nothing. Wealthy bachelor Gilbert 59, who has a previous conviction for molesting two 13-year-old boys, began by fondling the younster in the bath. …Gilbert – head of the SPCK for 21 years was given only a nine-month suspended sentence after his counsel revealed he was sick and suicidal. Judge Michael McMullen said he was not jailing him immediately because the strain could give him a fatal heart attack.
The victim joined a dance class run by a trust of which Gilbert was a governor.

A CHURCH of England charity worker who molested a teenage boy was given a suspended sentence yesterday after a judge was told that he suffered serious health problems.
Patrick Gilbert, 59, who had a character reference from a former Archbishop of Canterbury, admitted three specimen charges of indecently assaulting a 14-year-old boy over a two-year period.
And the churchman, who served 10 years as a member of the Archbishop’s Committee on Roman Catholicism, also confessed to a previous conviction for indecent assault on two 13-year-old boys in 1962 while a school teacher.
Gilbert, the former president of the Society For Promoting Christian Knowledge smiled as he left Wood Green Crown Court in north London accompanied by the resident Canon of St Paul’s Cathedral, the Rev Christopher Hill. Gilbert refused to comment on the offence or the sentence of three terms of nine months suspended for two years each.
Sentencing him, Judge Michael McMullan, said Gilbert was a ‘wealthy and influential’ man who had breached the trust of the boy and his parents. He added: ‘With an offence of this kind only a custodial sentence could be justified. Considering the seriousness of the offence, I entirely take into account your breach of the boy’s trust.
‘You have also breached the trust of his parents, who put their son in your care because they believed you were the kind of man you appeared to be.’
But the judge decided not to jail the bachelor because of his health and ‘very severe punishment’ he had already undergone through losing his reputation. Gilbert, of Hampstead, north London, had been admitted to hospital last week with heart trouble, the court was told, and psychiatrists assessed him as a suicide risk.
The judge said: ‘You were a man, wealthy and in an influential position, able to assist this young man in his chosen career.
‘Whatever your motives originally were, it ended in wholly illegal sexual gratification with a 14-year-old boy.
‘Any quality of consensuality has to be looked at against the background of the fact that you, a wealthy and influential man, were assisting and enabling him in his career.’
Patrick Gilbert SPCK Holy Trinity Church Marylebone
The Holy Trinity Church in Marylebone, Westminster, built specifically to celebrate the defeat of Napoleon, hasn’t been used as a place of worship since the 30’s, but that didn’t stop artist Paul Fryer from making a religious statement by hanging this terrifying statue of Satan inside.
The piece, titled “Lucifer (Morningstar)” is a wax sculpture depicting the devil snared in a set of power lines.
In 1937 Penguin moved out to Harmondsworth, and the Society for Promoting Christian Knowledge (SPCK), an Anglican missionary organization, moved in. It was their headquarters until 2006, when they relocated to Tufton Street, Westminster (they have since moved again to Pimlico); the church is currently used as an Events space operated by One Events and known as One Marylebone.

Questions over churchman’s charity trip: Andrew Brown reports on a leading Anglican’s visit to South Africa with a homosexual friend
4 December 1992
THE MOST powerful layman in the Church of England took his homosexual companion around South Africa on a trip for an Anglican charity, the Independent has learnt. He later repaid to the Society for the Promotion of Christian Knowledge the extra costs involved.
The bills, showing the two men shared a room on the trip in 1990, were approved by Patrick Gilbert, the society’s then managing director, who resigned suddenly last year and is now facing charges of indecent assault.
The Rev Sir Derek Pattinson, as he now is, was secretary-general of the Church of England’s General Synod for 18 years, until 1990, when he was knighted on retirement and embarked on training for ordination.
He was also chairman of the executive committee at the Society for the Promotion of Christian Knowledge, a 300-year-old missionary society and publishing house, currently being investigated by the Charity Commissioners after revelations about the extravagance of Mr Gilbert, its last managing director.
Sir Derek set off on a prolonged fact-finding trip around southern Africa at SPCK’s expense in the autumn of 1990, while he was still secretary-general of the Synod.
In Johannesburg he was joined, by pre-arrangement, by Barnaby Miln, a homosexual activist who had been the one of the youngest Justices of the Peace in England.
For most of the years when Sir Derek, 62, was training for the priesthood, he lived with Mr Miln in a flat in Westminster owned by the Diocese of London.
Dr Graham Leonard, the traditionalist who has now announced he plans to leave the Church of England in protest against women priests, was then Bishop of London. He agreed to Sir Derek’s ordination without the customary investigation of his suitability by the Church’s Advisory Council on Ministry.
‘It’s perfectly true that (Sir Derek) never went to a selection conference, because technically he was the employer of the staff who were arranging it,’ Dr Leonard said.
Mr Miln claims that Dr Leonard knew the set-up. ‘The Daily Mail chap, Tony Doran, had got through the outer door on the morning of the deaconing and accused (Sir Derek) to his face of being a homosexual. And Derek sent him away,’ he said.
‘The telephone then started ringing, and Graham Leonard decided to go ahead . . . The organist was told to play full blast, should there be a protest; and at the private do afterwards. Graham Leonard came up to me and said: ‘I did you a favour, Barnaby.’ ‘
Dr Leonard attended a packed General Synod debate in 1987 when Sir Derek was on the platform and Mr Miln, then a lay member, announced that he was a homosexual.
The Synod went on to pass by an overwhelming majority, a motion condemning ‘homosexual genital activity’.
Before Sir Derek could become a priest, Dr Leonard retired, and was replaced by the Rt Rev David Hope, the former bishop of Wakefield. He compelled Sir Derek to return to the theological college at Mirfield, Yorkshire, for an extra term, which he had hoped to skip. But he did ordain him.
Dr Hope said: ‘I knew that they were sharing rooms or a flat. But it was put to me that Barnaby Miln was looking after Derek, caring for or about him. I would presume that their domestic arrangements were satisfactory and wholesome because I was not told otherwise.’
Sir Derek serves as a curate in St Gabriel’s, Warwick Square, central London, whose rector is David Skeogh. Mr Skeogh, a ‘high’ Anglo-Catholic, is a former schoolteacher who served as Dr Leonard’s domestic chaplain both in Truro and London.
While Sir Derek was away at Mirfield last spring Mr Miln began a relationship with David O’Reilly, a young Irishman. He had previously been attracted to a handsome Australian teacher, whose athletic interests led him to take up an exercise programme, which resulted in a knee injury.
Mr Miln said he was due for a cartilage operation at the end of March and ‘needed somebody to get me around. And Derek was due back from Mirfield for the ordination and so forth. So we needed somebody to drive us around.’
David O’Reilly was Mr Miln’s chauffeur and lover from April until he died in mysterious circumstances behind King’s Cross railway station, north London, on 6 August this year.
On 20 May, for reasons which are still unclear, two police cars pulled over Mr Miln’s car as Mr O’Reilly was driving him along the Westway in London. The two men were taken separately to police stations, and interrogated for six hours. The car was searched, but nothing unusual was found except some leaflets promoting the Anglican Centre in Rome.
Mr O’Reilly introduced Mr Miln to hard drugs very soon after their relationship began. Mr Miln said that in very little time he was spending hundreds of pounds a week on heroin and cocaine.
On 6 August, Mr Miln’s 45th birthday, Mr O’Reilly drove him to King’s Cross. He parked there, left Mr Miln in the car, and went to buy some cocaine. What happened next is unclear. Mr Miln believes it was murder: the Crown Prosecution Service found no case to answer, when police passed on papers of the case. In any case, Mr O’Reilly fell, or was pushed, under the wheels of a lorry and died.
Sir Derek collected Mr Miln from the police station where he had been questioned for hours by officers wanting to know why he was in the car and what Mr O’Reilly had been doing. He denied everything, but admitted on two separate occasions afterwards that Mr O’Reilly had in fact been buying cocaine for him.
The relationship between Sir Derek and Mr Miln deteriorated, though the two men continued to live together.
Since Mr Gilbert’s forced retirement last year from the Society for the Promotion of Christian Knowledge, the new managing director, Paul Chandler, has completely revised its financial controls. He said yesterday that none of the society’s travel budget came from contributions made by the public.
Sir Derek, when challenged over the allegations, replied that he had paid by cheque for Mr Miln’s share of the hotel bills in South Africa immediately after his return. But he could not produce a record of this.
He has disappeared and cannot be contacted. Dr Hope has ordered him to take medical leave for six weeks, and will review his position at the end of that time.
Milne – partner of Sir Pattinson’s -Pattinson’s closest friend – Patrick Gilbert
Claims that a former Justice of the Peace and member of General Synod, Barnaby Miln, ran a gay prostitute ring from a flat he shared with the general secretary of the Church of England, Sir Derek Pattinson, are also advanced. In 2003 the tabloid newspaper The People ran an expose of Miln with the headline
“GAY SEX DEN IN CHURCH BOSS’S £1m FLAT; Kinky friend of royals runs orgies yards from Westminster Abbey.”
“That Was The Church That Was: How the Church of England Lost the English People” by Andrew Brown of the Guardian and Prof. Linda Woodhead of Lancaster University, the publisher’s advertisement for the book, set for release on 11 Feb 2016, states:
The Church of England still seemed an essential part of Englishness, and even of the British state, when Mrs Thatcher was elected in 1979. The decades which followed saw a seismic shift in the foundations of the C of E, leading to the loss of more than half its members and much of its influence. In England today ‘religion’ has become a toxic brand, and Anglicanism something done by other people. How did this happen? Is there any way back?
This ‘relentlessly honest’ and surprisingly entertaining book tells the dramatic and contentious story of the disappearance of the Church of England from the centre of public life. The authors – religious correspondent Andrew Brown and academic Linda Woodhead – watched this closely, one from the inside and one from the outside. That Was the Church, That Was shows what happened and explains why.
Those familiar with the contents of the book report it recounts episodes in the life of the Church of England from the controversy over the preface to the 1988 edition of Crockford’s Clerical Directory, which excoriated Archbishop Robert Runcie and the leadership of the Church of England as “wicked” and intolerant — the fury of the church establishment in response is believed to have led to the suicide of the preface’s author, the Rev. Gareth Bennett, to salacious claims about the sexual peccadilloes of leading churchmen.
The late John Stott is claimed to have been gay and to have penned an anonymous book in 1970 supporting homosexuality. Claims that a former Justice of the Peace and member of General Synod, Barnaby Miln, ran a gay prostitute ring from a flat he shared with the general secretary of the Church of England, Sir Derek Pattinson, are also advanced. In 2003 the tabloid newspaper The People ran an expose of Miln with the headline “GAY SEX DEN IN CHURCH BOSS’S £1m FLAT; Kinky friend of royals runs orgies yards from Westminster Abbey.”
Writing in the Independent in 1995 about General Synod’s debates on homosexuality Brown wrote:”Only one man, a JP from Hereford named Barnaby Miln, admitted to being a homosexual. Later, he was to live with the Secretary-General of the General Synod, the Rev Sir Derek Pattinson, after the couple had been on a tour of southern Africa partially paid for by SPCK, the oldest missionary society in the Church of England. Mr Miln was last heard of in Hereford jail, serving six months for defrauding the inmates of an old people’s home.”
References to Miln’s imprisonment have been removed over the past few months from his entry on Wikipedia. Anglican Ink has not been able to verify the veracity of the Independent’s claim that Miln had been imprisoned — and it has not seen the letter detailing the grounds for the threatened libel action.
Asked to comment on the reasons for the recall and for the grounds upon which a libel action was laid, Bloomsbury’s publicity agent responded: “ I only know that there’s been a legal complaint.”
Pattinson was vice-president of the Society for Promoting Christian Knowledge.
In his most recent Who’s Who entry Derek Pattinson cited Barnaby Miln (three years ago the subject of a tabloid story detailing his taste for rent boys, cocaine and spanking sessions) as his “partner”.
” A TOP churchman’s boyfriend has turned their pounds 1million home into a depraved gay spanking brothel, The People can reveal.
Barnaby Miln, pal of royals and bishops, provides rent boys and perverted sex services including bondage and corporal punishment.
MPs, civil servants, showbiz personalities and respected church dignitaries are among the clients invited to his monthly gay orgies.
Former magistrate Miln uses the internet to advertise the vice den in the plush flat yards from Westminster Abbey that he has shared with his gay lover the Rev Sir Derek Pattinson for 15 years.
Sir Derek was the Church of England’s most senior layman – secretary general of the church’s “parliament” the General Synod – for 18 years before becoming a minister.
The couple’s pals among the rich and famous will be shocked to learn of Miln’s sordid activities, exposed by a special People investigation.
The man who brags he was close to the Queen Mum and Princess Margaret and was an adviser to a former Archbishop of Canterbury acts as a gay prostitute offering caning and other kinky services.
And he has handsome young men on his books who charge pounds 200 for sex. Miln told our undercover reporter he could have sex with him for pounds 60, saying: “My fantasy is to take a pretty boy like you in broad daylight and right in front of the Abbey.”
The 56-year-old pervert, who advertises his spanking parlour as the Headmaster’s Study:
-KEEPS canes, handcuffs and other restraint gear in the swish apartment where the walls are covered by framed photographs of famous churchmen and one of Miln with Princess Anne.
-REVELS in dangerous sex, shrugging off the perils of Aids.
-OFFERED our investigator ecstasy, apologising for being out of the cocaine he likes to share with gay partners.
-BOASTED of having sex with thousands of men including a new 19-year-old lover.
Miln, whose clients call him Judge Judy after the American TV series, told our man: “I love sex, I can’t help myself. I love meeting gay boys or straight men over the internet.
“It gives me a reason to live. But the older you get the more isolated you become.
That is why I went on the game, to treat young boys like you to the discipline you deserve.”
The People investigated after spotting an advert for the Headmaster’s Study in a seedy gay contact magazine. We also traced a website advertising spanking sessions.
Miln was pictured posing in his study alongside photos of clients stretched over a bookshelf being caned. Our investigator was invited to the apartment in Strutton Court, Great Peter Street, after swapping text messages with Miln to fix an appointment.
Sir Derek, 73, was not there. He has a broken leg and spends most days in a London nursing home.
Miln talked about the private parties he arranged and said: “I get all sorts here – civil servants from Whitehall, MPs, the odd showbiz personality and even people from Buckingham Palace. I know one or two people there and naturally I get some top names in the church as well.”
Our man saw the handcuffs and restraints that Miln keeps in the bedroom. A brolly stand in the drawing room was crammed with canes.
Miln lost no time in offering our reporter sex without a condom and told him: “There is nothing better than dangerous sex.
“I could have HIV but at my age I don’t care. If I then give it to someone it will be because of their stupidity.”
He added: “I had a test a month or so ago so I don’t think there would be any danger to you.” But it seemed a strange attitude for a man who was special adviser on Aids and sexuality to Dr Robert Runcie when he was Archbishop of Canterbury.
There were several volumes on Aids on the bookshelves in the flat. Miln even devised the red ribbon as a symbol of Aids awareness. With Sir Derek, he also helped raise large sums for the Anglican Church with events including a VIP reception at Lambeth Palace. In 1997 he escorted Princess Anne round a Christian Aid exhibition in Scotland.
It was a very different world to the one he revealed to The People’s investigator. He said he charged pounds 60 an hour as a gay escort offering caning and other kinky corporal punishment.
He also said he had half a dozen younger guys ready to provide gay sex.
In a casual sweater and trendy Armani jeans and sporting a gold Rolex, Miln emerged from the kitchen with two glasses of Jack Daniels and Coke. He also offered the investigator a cigar and an ecstasy tablet “to help unwind”.
He admitted: “I like to share cocaine but haven’t got any with me at the moment.”
Miln said Sir Derek was “out of town at the moment and too old to take an active part.” But Sir Derek’s involvement with Miln landed him in a huge row with church elders in 1990.
He had taken his lover on a six-week fact-finding tour of South Africa paid for out of church missionary funds.
Two years later Miln was quizzed by police probing the mysterious death of his chauffeur, a young Irishman he had an affair with. The man’s body was found at the back of King’s Cross railway station.
Police discovered he had introduced Miln to hard drugs and the two had spent a fortune on heroin and cocaine.
Miln was a JP in Hereford and London from 1978 to 1994 and lived with his elderly mother in Edinburgh for some years. He was once a member of the Synod but turned his back on the Church after a ruling that practising homosexuality was considered a sin.
Three years ago he set up a gay escorts agency in Edinburgh employing about 20 rent boys as young as 18. He found them through fliers dropped in pubs, clubs and other gays gay haunts.
Miln tried to recruit the investigator as a rent boy and invited him to return to the flat the following day.
When our man arrived Miln claimed he had just finished “punishing” a university lecturer who regularly turned up for a thrashing with a whip.
Miln urged the reporter to relax. He handed him an ecstasy tablet from about 30 he had in a drawer by his bed, saying, “Here, take on of these.”
The investigator said he would take it later. Laboratory tests confirmed it was ecstasy.
We later confronted Miln and asked him whether Sir Derek knew of the sordid activities at the flat.
Miln said: “He’s too ill for that. He’s muddled and forgets things in five minutes but we have spoken about it.
“Derek is still my partner but he is not at all well and in a nursing home. He has been there for several months.”
Asked about the ecstasy, he said: “I’d rather not comment about that.”
A spokesman for the Diocese of London , former owners of the flat, said: “Sir Derek is a non-stipendiary minister but is very old now.
” The property is no longer anything to do with us.”
Whilst on the General Synod Barnaby Miln was a trustee and later chairman of the Langley House Trust for ex-offenders and treasurer of the (British) Churches Council on Alcohol and Drugs. He brought to the latter his experience as a licensing justice in Hereford.

The press has also been full of Heath’s defenders claiming the investigation is a witch hunt against someone who isn’t alive to defend himself, much like the counterclaims about Leon Brittan.
Are they really so concerned about Sir Edward`s reputation, or are they more worried about protecting their own skins ?
…it may not be entirely coincidental that the three publications that have attacked me, The Sunday Times, the Daily Mail and Private Eye, are precisely the same ones that have had their journalists named.along with Heath, on the dossier.
With growing evidence of the widespread existence of sexual transgressions at the highest level of the establishment, it is possible that we may be somewhat nearer to the full revelation of the UK`s grimmest secret – the elite`s concealed sexual abuse of children.
It’s so damned obvious that that rag, The Times, is on a mission to discredit anyone who dares even to consider a British establishment figure could be in the least capable of CSA. This is as far removed from journalism as Edward Heath was from being asexual!

When a very young child is sexually abused, for a journo to call that survivor, a fantasist, is abhorrent. But then what I expect from journo’s that follow and prefer the words of a heinous gang of pro-child-sex-abuse trolls that terrorise child abuse survivors online.
The DailyMail journo has deliberately omitted chunks of info, with an aim to: denigrate Esther; sway and manipulate public opinion; put pressure on IICSA; appease the child sexual apologists infesting Twitter.

There ARE grounds to suspect Ted Heath over abuse claims, says leading human rights lawyer who saw secret evidence obtained by police
Officers found ‘important idiosyncratic corroborating’ evidence against former Tory Premier Sir Edward Heath which was ‘clearly not the product of collusion’
Danny Friedman QC saw secret evidence obtained by police investigating Sir Edward, who died in 2005
Expert on child sex abuse said she would not have trusted Heath with children

Distinctive similarities between alleged sexual assaults on boys by Sir Edward Heath helped convince police that they would be justified to question him under caution were he alive today, according to a leading human rights lawyer.
Officers found ‘important idiosyncratic corroborating’ evidence against the former Tory Premier which was ‘clearly not the product of collusion’ in cases spanning nearly 50 years and across Britain.
Danny Friedman QC saw secret evidence obtained by police investigating Sir Edward, who died in 2005.
Mr Friedman, who was a ‘scrutineer’ of the Operation Conifer inquiry into Sir Edward by Wiltshire Police, also defended the conduct of the force’s Chief Constable, Mike Veale.
Emphasising the scale of the inquiry with 42 allegations involving 14 forces, he said: ‘Of itself, that tells you something about the nature of the task, but also that the complaints emerged from different parts of the country, from people who were largely unconnected.’
It explained why the inquiry concluded ‘there were reasonable grounds to suspect that offences had been committed’ by Sir Edward in seven cases.
James O’Brien asked why people who campaigned for justice for the victims of the Rotherham grooming gangs are strangely quiet on the potential victims of Edward Heath.
Police today confirmed that the former Prime Minister would have been questioned under caution over allegations of rape and indecent assault of boys.
The right-wing campaigned strongly against the Asian grooming gangs, so James asked what the difference is between a person with brown skin accused of abusing a child and one with white skin.
And he used the words of Heath’s chief whip Tim Fortescue, who revealed they had covered up allegations of child abuse in the past to gain favours later on.
“We wold do everything we can because we would store up brownie points. That sounds a pretty nasty reason, but it’s one of the reasons that if we could get a chap out of trouble, he’ll do as we ask forever more.”
Responding to that, James said: “Where are all the websites, all the proud patriots attacking that, which happened on our own doorstep and was revealed by a Member of Parliament? Why aren’t EDL websites dedicated to this bloke?
“Isn’t it very odd how people who seem to dedicate their lives on social media to Pakistani grooming gangs are on the same side of the argument when it comes to Ted Heath as the people who didn’t listen to the victims?
“What could possibly be the reason a brown-skinned person would demand epic derision and disgust, but a white-skinned person accused of identical crimes shouldn’t even be investigated at all? Anybody?”
Former Prime Minister Edward Heath, Jimmy Savile and the Haut de la Garenne Paedophile Ring on the Island of Jersey
October 20, 2017
As Operation Conifer concludes, and the police have confirmed that sufficient evidence exists to ‘question Edward Heath if he were alive’, previous thwarted or fatigued investigations into our former Prime Minister Heath and his good mate – the vile paedophile and former BBC icon Jimmy Savile – should definitely command our attention once again.Operation Conifer was intended only to research claims made against the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1970 until 1974, Edward Heath, in his home county of Wiltshire, but in this regional investigation over 26 claims of sexual abuse which met a certain threshold of evidence were officially filed against Heath. The most unpalatable involved Heath paying for sex with an 11-year-old boy when he was an MP. This investigation, however, is simply the ‘one which slipped through the net’ at the end of a long string of allegations against Heath which were hushed.
One such case is Operation Whistle, which investigates the crimes of Edward Heath, Jimmy Savile and 13 other ‘people of public or political prominence’ in the Haut de la Garenne children’s home on the Channel Island of Jersey, where Heath spent a lot of his free time. The Operation is still underway but the States of Jersey Police have not issued a public update since 2015, and a Freedom of Information Act request which was made about the investigation was declined on the grounds that it remains an ongoing case. And so those trying to gain insight to the investigation’s progress are stuck in a kind of stalemate.
Local resident Linda Corby alongside Jersey Senator Ralph Vibert both witnessed children from Haut de la Garenne join Heath on his yacht, Morning Cloud, which concerned them as they had been pre-warned about the actions of Heath on the island. They hauntingly described a scene in which ’11 boys entered the yacht, but only 10 left’. She and Mr Vibert went to police but she claims that they were told not to investigate the disappearance by ‘someone above’.
Haut de la Garenne was ordered to be demolished in July as it apparently serves as a reminder of decades of sexual abuse and mistreatment of children in Jersey. It seems odd and deeply counterintuitive, however, to destroy the remnants of the place in which the police admitted that 15 famous British individuals committed serious sexual crimes when not a single one of them has been brought to justice. Ultimately, this just furthers the impression that police were simply trying to make the incident disappear from memory rather than break it open.
Jimmy Savile was formally named as an alleged culprit in the investigation by Jersey police after his immense backlog of sexual crimes were brought to light after his death. He frequented the island of Jersey and on multiple occasions visited Haut de la Garenne under the guise of charitable work, often at the same time Edward Heath moored his yacht on the island. Savile successfully sued The Sun newspaper in 2008 when they accused him of abusing children in Haut de la Garenne, and initially claimed that he never visited the children’s home, before retracting that statement when a photograph surfaced of him there. Savile died in 2011 and never faced justice for the sexual abuse of hundreds of children.
Another ‘person of public or political prominence’ in Operation Whistle is the Irish actor and BBC star Wilfrid Brambell, who starred in the Beatles film ‘A Hard Days Night’. The allegations against him surfaced in 2008, and his case disturbingly echoes that of Savile; two young victims aged 12-13 – one of which was groomed whilst a resident of Haut de la Garenne – were guests of Brambell at the Jersey Opera House where they were abused in his dressing room, they tried to alert authorities but were snubbed – only after Brambell died and the gushing tributes from his former employers the BBC died down did their accusations make it to the mainstream press. Unlike Savile, Brambell’s crimes never really saw the light of day beyond blogs and tiny columns by interns at the Telegraph.
In fact, the only celebrated reporter who has taken a serious interest in abuse at Haut de la Garenne was the American author and journalist Leah McGrath Goodman. Unfortunately, she was quashed pretty quickly as her UK visa was rescinded inexplicably in 2012 in spite of her squeaky clean criminal record. It took over a year of campaigns by fellow journalists and petitions to the UK government before she was allowed back in the UK…
Jersey “officers could not access the yacht club registers which would have shown who was present at gatherings.”… reports children were abused on boats
Investigations into claims that police socialised with suspected paedophiles at a Jersey yacht club “came to a dead end”, a former police chief has said.
Graham Power was in charge when the police investigation into historical child abuse began in 2006.
He told Jersey’s abuse inquiry that officers could not access the yacht club registers, which would have shown who was present at gatherings.
Mr Power was suspended in 2008 over his handling of the investigation.
‘Out at sea’
He said there were reports that children were abused on boats.
“I was told that a group of police officers and senior officials, and people who were subsequently associated with paedophile activity, used to meet as a group at the yacht club at the same time and socialise together.
“The reports that things were happening out at sea all seemed to join up into a sort of set of circumstances that merits investigation.”
He told the hearing that during an investigation into the abuse of a sea cadet, a suspect had text messages on his phone to a retired senior police officer asking for advice about the inquiry.
The predictable but no less damaging message being communicated by UK newspapers who are in bed with Heath’s Conservative party – most notably the Daily Mail – is that Heath is dead and there is no point ‘dragging his name through the mud’. Sadly, the reality is that for figures like Heath who reached the very top of the food chain, the only time their crimes are revealed is when the figures who built a protective wall around them are gone.
Just listen to the Conservative Party Whip Tim Fortescue recall what he had to do for his boss, Edward Heath. Incredibly, he willingly shared this in a talking head segment for the 1995 BBC documentary ‘Westminster’s Secret Service’:
”For anyone with any sense, who was in trouble, would come to the whips and tell them the truth, and say now, I’m in a jam, can you help? It might be debt, it might be a scandal involving small boys, or any kind of scandal in which, erm er, a member seemed likely to be mixed up in, they’d come and ask if we could help and if we could, we did.’
Fortescue died in 2008, and it is no coincidence that the bulk of allegations against Heath came about after his end.
So fuck the Daily Mail. We owe nothing to the dead, their vile secrets, nor their reputations, but we owe an awful lot to the victims of child sexual abuse in the here and now. Operation Conifer should be the start of a comprehensive review of Heath’s crimes, not their polite and quiet conclusion. And we should start with Haut de la Garenne.
In a 1995 BBC documentary, Westminster’s Secret Service, he said the following about what the Whips would do for MPs who were in danger of being mired in scandal:
For anyone with any sense, who was in trouble, would come to the whips and tell them the truth, and say now, I’m in a jam, can you help? It might be debt, it might be… a scandal involving small boys, or any kind of scandal in which, erm er, a member seemed likely to be mixed up in, they’d come and ask if we could help and if we could, we did. And we would do everything we can because we would store up brownie points… and if I mean, that sounds a pretty, pretty nasty reason, but it’s one of the reasons because if we could get a chap out of trouble then, he will do as we ask forever more.

His time with the police was almost as fruitful. He discovered that the Home Office had told officers that letters levelling accusations against them were “privileged” even if the charges turned out to be malicious, and consequently they could not sue for defamation. He had little time to act on his experiences of prison, as within weeks of his stint at Walton the Conservatives won the 1970 election (Fortescue almost doubling his majority) and he was appointed a whip.

The late Tory home secretary (and alleged satanist) Willie Whitelaw told the same programme how information was recorded in the black or “dirt” book: “The dirt book is just a little book where you write down various things you know or hear about people that may or may not be true. I think you could make a very good guess what sorts of things it contains.”
Fortescue added that “scandalous stories” were whips’ stock-in-trade. “When you are trying to persuade a member to vote the way he didn’t want to vote on a controversial issue – which is part of your job – it is possible to suggest that perhaps it would not be in his interest if people knew something or other – very mildly.”
The abusive incidents are said to have occurred when Whitsey was in office, including assaults at Bishop’s House in Chester, and when he was in retirement and living in Lancashire.
The former bishop of Chester, Victor Whitsey, is being investigated 30 years after his death over allegations of sexual abuse in the latest scandal involving high-profile figures in the Church of England.
A lawyer representing four of the alleged victims has claimed the abuse was covered up by the C of E and has called for a independent review.
The allegations date from the late 1970s when Whitsey was bishop of Chester, and in the 1980s after he had retired and was living in the diocese of Blackburn.
The C of E said it had supported a police investigation into allegations of sexual offences against children and adults. The police told the church that, had Whitsey still been alive, he would have been interviewed in relation to 10 allegations. Whitsey died in 1987.
In a statement, the archbishop of York, Dr John Sentamu, and the bishop of Chester, Dr Peter Forster, said: “We are deeply sorry and apologise to those individuals who have come forward to share their account of abuse by a bishop in the Church of England who was in a position of power and authority. We appreciate that it is very difficult for individuals to come forward and to give their account.
“Sexual abuse is a heinous crime – and is an absolute and shameful breach of trust. We acknowledge that for survivors the effects of sexual abuse are lifelong. We are offering pastoral support to all those who have come forward and continue to hold them all in our prayers.”
It added: “The church will consider what lessons can be learned from this case and whether any action needs to be taken as a result of what these inquiries have shown.”
Cheshire police said the allegations related to 13 people, five males and eight females. “The abuse is alleged to have taken place whilst the bishop was living and working in Chester and one incident is reported to have taken place outside the county,” a statement said. The police investigation had spanned 13 months, it added.
Richard Scorer, a specialist abuse lawyer from Slater and Gordon, which represents four of Whitsey’s victims, said: “The abhorrent and disgusting abuse perpetrated by Bishop Whitsey destroyed many lives, driving some to attempt suicide. What is equally abhorrent is that the Church of England knew of his abuse, did nothing to stop it and covered it up. It is crucial that there is now an independent review into Whitsey abuse and who failed to act when they learnt of his heinous behaviour.”
The law firm understands that a complaint was made to the C of E while Whitsey was still serving as bishop of Chester, but it was not passed to police. The church was believed to have been made aware of further allegations following Whitsey’s retirement, but no action was taken.
Slater and Gordon released a statement from one of Whitsey’s alleged victims. It said: “When I met Victor Whitsey I was young, innocent, and naive. I longed for his blessing to achieve my wish of a future as a vicar, serving God and the community. He told me he agreed I had a calling from God. He also told me he had the power to give me everything I wanted in life and the power to take it all away. He then proceeded to abuse me sexually and psychologically. I was powerless to stop him.
“I blamed myself, though I was the only victim and rationalised that it was my fault … I told no one; who would believe a teenage boy’s word against a bishop of the Church of England? I became reclusive and came to the ultimate conclusion. The prospect of ever seeing Victor Whitsey again was so abhorrent to me that I turned my back on my beloved church and my calling to serve God. I self-harmed and have spent a lifetime focusing on resentment and bitterness.
“Twenty years after my abuse, I suffered a complete mental nervous breakdown which included attempted suicide. Because of the sexual abuse I suffered at the hands of Victor Whitsey I lost my faith, my chosen life as a vicar, my self-belief, my freedom from worry and my dignity. Child sex abuse is a crime which stays with you for a lifetime. As a child you don’t understand why or what is happening, but as you grow older you realise the enormity of the abuse and it hurts you all over again – you blame yourself for allowing it – you hate yourself for being weak.
“Since my abuse, not a day has gone by that I have not thought about what happened to me.”
The author of the statement said he hoped there would be a public inquiry “to understand not only what Whitsey did to his victims but to also learn who knew what he was doing, to what extent his actions were intentionally covered up, and who else was complicit in the crimes that he committed, and for which, I continue to suffer every day of my life”.
The church has faced a number of high-profile cases of sexual abuse.
Peter Ball, a former bishop of both Gloucester and Lewes, was jailed in October 2015 for the grooming, sexual exploitation and abuse of 18 vulnerable young men aged 17-25 who had sought spiritual guidance from him between 1977 and 1992. He was released from prison in February after serving 16 months.
A damning independent report, published in June, found that senior figures in the C of E had colluded over a 20-year period with the disgraced former bishop.
The report made harrowing reading, the archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, said. “The church colluded and concealed rather than seeking to help those who were brave enough to come forward. This is inexcusable and shocking behaviour,” he said.
George Carey, a former archbishop of Canterbury who was criticised in the report, resigned as honorary assistant bishop in the diocese of Oxford.
Two years ago, the church issued a formal apology for alleged sexual abuse committed by one of its most senior figures, George Bell, the late bishop of Chichester, who died 57 years ago. It also settled a civil claim brought against Ball by a survivor.
The force identified 13 adult and child alleged victims – five male and eight female – of the late Bishop of Chester Victor Whitsey between 1974 and 1981.
Its report said two victims were aged 13 to 17 and the alleged abuse was carried out in Chester and Lancashire.
A relative, Rachel Whitsey, told the BBC she had no comment to make. The Church of England has apologised.
Bishop Whitsey, who was married with children, retired in 1981 and died in 1987.

Who was Edward Heath, what are the paedophile allegations against him and what as the child abuse inquiry report revealed?
What did the report reveal?
Heath would be questioned over allegations that he raped and indecently assaulted boys as young as 10 were he alive today, the controversial police report has said.
A Wiltshire Police investigation, called Operation Conifer, concluded that seven of the claims would have been sufficiently credible to justify questioning Sir Edward, who was prime minister under caution.
The report does not address the question of Sir Edward’s guilt or innocence because the remit of the two-year £1.5 million inquiry was to see whether there was enough evidence to interview the former MP for Bexley, who died at home in Salisbury in July 2005, aged 89.
None of the allegations about which Wiltshire Police would have questioned Sir Edward relate to when he was prime minister, the force said.
The Crown Prosecution Service has a policy of not making a charging decision on a suspect who is dead because they cannot be prosecuted.
The allegations Sir Edward would have been questioned over include rape of a boy aged 11, indecent assault of a 10-year-old boy and the indecent assault of a 15-year-old boy during three “paid sexual encounters”, and are said to have occurred between 1961 and 1992 in the Met Police, Kent, Sussex, the Channel Islands and Wiltshire force areas.
Lord Hunt of Wirral, chairman of the Sir Edward Heath Charitable Foundation, and Lord Armstrong of Ilminster, former Cabinet Secretary, said in a statement: “The Wiltshire Police report is profoundly unsatisfactory because it neither justifies nor dispels the cloud of suspicion.”
The report stressed that “no inference of guilt” should be made from the fact he would have faced questioning.
What were the allegations against Ted Heath?
The 100-page “summary closure report” details 42 allegations made against Sir Edward and categorises them as:
Seven alleged victims whose accounts would warrant interviewing him under caution
19 cases where Sir Edward would not have wheelbeen interviewed under caution because of the extent of undermining evidence
It’s been a very clever pr exercise. Wilts fuzz shown to be impartial – other forces therefore also -by inference- have done their job – no cover up and nothing conclusive on Heath. He would surely have refuted allegations – had a myriad of cover stories and people to vouch for him. conclusion, no high level abuse – no cover up – just insufficient reliable victim/survivor evidence to pursue. Also iicsa now take over the data – bury it – and besides their ToR aren’t geared to prosecutions or id of perps. Case closed for next 5 years.

Ted Heath ‘abused boys young as 11’: Bombshell police report details 42 assault claims and one ‘rape of underage male’ with two cases linked to ex-premier’s interest in sailing
The controversial report into paedophile allegations against Sir Edward Heath includes claims he sexually assaulted boys as young as 11
Some of the more serious allegations are linked to the sailing world
The report will say that seven of the allegations are sufficiently credible to justify questioning Sir Edward under caution were he alive today
30 September 2017
Some of the most serious allegations, which include at least one rape and span his five decades as an MP, are linked to the sailing world. The former Prime Minister was a skilled yachtsman.
The report will say that seven of the allegations are sufficiently credible to justify questioning Sir Edward under caution were he alive today. One of the seven is said to involve the rape of an underage boy. Two were linked to his interest in sailing and allegedly occurred in Guernsey and Jersey.
It is thought that at least two of the other seven most serious allegations occurred in Wiltshire, where Sir Edward lived at Arundells, a mansion in Salisbury. It is not known if the alleged crimes happened there.
Two separate allegations are said to have been made by individuals in ‘prominent’ positions today. It is thought they were reporting the alleged abuse of others.
The Mail on Sunday has been told that at least one allegation relates to a boy younger than 11 but we have been unable to confirm this.
And according to one unconfirmed report, some claims refer to the music world – Heath was known as an orchestra conductor.
It is understood that the report rejects three of the main arguments used by Sir Edward’s friends to combat the allegations: that he would have few opportunities to commit such crimes because he couldn’t drive and never owned a car; that for most of his long career he had round-the-clock police protection; and that he was asexual.
The report says Sir Edward’s former police bodyguards said they did not watch him 24 hours a day and that for much of his political life he had no protection at all.
It says he could drive – though bizarrely there is no record of him having had a driving licence – and at various times owned a Rover 2000 and Vauxhall Viva.
And it says former aides said they were certain he did have consenting sexual relationships with adults.
Furthermore, the report says:
42 claims of child sex abuse include at least one rape of an underage boy. Most alleged victims were boys aged 11 to 15;
Some were rent boys or from ‘low-life’ backgrounds. Others were boys he encountered elsewhere. Nine of the 42 claims were already on police files, in some cases for decades, but had been dismissed;
Allegations date from the mid- 1950s when he was Chief Whip to the 1990s when he was in his 70s;
Places where alleged crimes occurred are generally referred to as ‘public places’. At least one is said to have happened in a hotel. Two allegations were made by ‘senior professionals’. Mr Veale is expected to say that he went to great lengths to avoid errors made by other police investigations into historic sex abuse allegations
The inquiry was told by a retired Wiltshire policeman that plans to prosecute an individual in the 1990s were dropped when the person threatened to claim in court that they had procured rent boys for Sir Edward.
Mr Veale recruited eight of Britain’s most senior retired detectives to boost the 24-strong Wiltshire Police inquiry.
Mr Veale is expected to give a robust response to those who say it is pointless to investigate a dead man on the grounds that he can never be put in the dock, arguing that police have a special duty to probe alleged corruption in high places. Conifer was set up in the wake of the Jimmy Savile scandal.
No victims are referred to by name in the 100-page inquiry summary to honour a pledge of lifetime anonymity – although they are included in the full 350-page report given to the Home Office and the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse (IICSA).
This newspaper has been told the report lists the allegations against Sir Edward, who died aged 89 in 2005, in five categories:
1. Seven ‘victims’ whose accounts would warrant interviewing him under caution, including the alleged rape of a boy.
2. Sixteen ‘vulnerable’ cases whose accounts fall just short of similar action due to an ‘element of undermining evidence’, including fading memory.
3. Ten cases including ‘third parties’ – complainants who said others had been abused by Sir Edward but not themselves. When police tracked down the alleged victims in these cases they gave the same account, but named other individuals as being the person who had been abused. It is thought that they wanted to expose Sir Edward without admitting he had assaulted them. It includes people who are married with children and want to put the matter behind them but felt compelled to act as well.
4. Six cases including one individual who is to be prosecuted over three bogus claims. Three others withdrew complaints.
5. Three complaints were made anonymously.
Q Why haven’t the 42 allegations come to police attention before?
A Several did but were dismissed as bogus. Mr Veale reopened complaints buried in police files. The report says some did not complain at the time because they feared they would be ignored in an age when such complaints against VIPs were rarely investigated.
Q If only seven ‘victims’ would warrant police action, are the others bogus?
A Not necessarily. Police erred on the side of caution, and at least two were left out of the top category at the last minute.
Q What happens now?
A The Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse said last month it is to study whether the report has any relevance to claims of an historic Westminster child sex ring and allegations of a cover-up involving Government Whips.
Police: If Ted Heath was alive today we’d quiz him under caution on child abuse claims
Operation Conifer inquiry into Edward Heath will be made public on October 5
Findings will reveal about 40 people made paedophile claims against Sir Edward
Chief Constable Mike Veale’s report will say seven of which are ‘credible’ claims
Sir Edward died in 2005 aged 89 – if alive today he’d be interviewed under caution, says the MoS
Child sexual abuse claims made against Sir Edward Heath by seven of his alleged victims are serious enough that police would have questioned him under caution if he were still alive.
That is the astonishing verdict of a controversial two-year investigation into the former Tory Prime Minister, The Mail on Sunday can reveal.
The explosive findings of the Operation Conifer inquiry into Sir Edward, led by Wiltshire Chief Constable Mike Veale, will be made public on October 5. It is believed the findings will reveal that about 40 people made paedophile claims against Sir Edward, who died in 2005 aged 89, covering five decades.
According to Whitehall sources, Mr Veale’s report will say seven of the alleged victims are ‘credible’ and describe the same pattern of behaviour by their ‘abuser’.
A Government source said an ‘interview under caution’ is, in effect, the strongest action that Mr Veale could recommend with regard to Sir Edward.
After an ‘interview with caution’ police would send a file to the Crown Prosecution Service, which would decide whether to prosecute. ‘It was never the task of Operation Conifer to decide whether Sir Edward was guilty, and clearly there was never any question of recommending prosecution in this case,’ a Government source said.

An ‘interview under caution’ usually takes place at a police station with the consent of the accused. If they refuse to attend, they can be arrested.
Mr Veale’s report will say testimonies by around a dozen more ‘victims’ cannot be relied on because they may have been ‘damaged’ by their experiences; a further dozen involve so called ‘third party’ allegations, where people have come forward to describe the alleged abuse of others.
A number of claims have been dismissed as bogus or fantasy.
Mr Veale has faced fierce criticism from senior Tories and mandarins who worked for Heath when he was in power in the 1970s.
They have accused police of wasting £2 million of public money on the inquiry, claiming the allegations are ‘fantasy’. Others said it would have been impossible for Sir Edward to commit such crimes when for much of his career he was accompanied by police protection. Only last week, former Director of Public Prosecutions Lord Macdonald said Mr Veale’s investigation was a ‘tragi-comedy of incompetence’.
But Mr Veale received a major boost yesterday as two fellow senior police chiefs, who are thought to have been briefed on progress by Operation Conifer, fired a warning shot at his powerful detractors.
Norfolk Chief Constable Simon Bailey, who supervises all UK historic child sex investigations, and Durham Chief Constable Mike Barton, who supervises national police operations, cautioned against attempts to ‘undermine’ Mr Veale.
In a statement to the MoS they stressed police must be able to investigate ‘without fear or favour’, adding: ‘They should be able to carry out investigations with complete independence without commentary which threatens to undermine the process.
‘While we await the findings of the Sir Edward Heath inquiry, it would be wrong to speculate on its content or the actions of individuals who have conducted the investigation.’
It was vital that police were given the funds ‘to conduct what can be complex and time-consuming inquiries’, they added.
The Mail on Sunday can also disclose that earlier this year a review of Mr Veale’s inquiry was undertaken by HM Inspectorate of Constabulary, which ruled it was ‘reasonable and proportionate’.
In another apparent vote of confidence in Mr Veale, Home Secretary Amber Rudd last week signed off a £1.1 million payment to help fund the investigation into Sir Edward – a blow to Tory MPs who wanted her to refuse to pay. Significantly, she signed off the payment shortly after receiving a summary of Mr Veale’s findings.
The Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse also said it would study Mr Veale’s findings after being briefed on his report.
Mr Veale’s view that allegations against Sir Edward would be serious enough to justify interrogation under caution were he alive is likely to spark a major row and calls for him to resign by some Tories convinced Sir Edward is innocent. A similar investigation into claims of a Westminster child sex ring involving 1980s Home Secretary Leon Brittan and others, by the Metropolitan Police – Operation Midland – collapsed last year after it was revealed the key claims were made by a fantasist. But there have also been allegations of an Establishment cover-up.
Conservative MP Andrew Bridgen, who has staunchly defended ‘courageous and honest’ Mr Veale, said: ‘Having set up the inquiry it would have been appalling if the Government had refused to pay for it.
‘Mr Veale must be allowed to present his findings free of abuse or intimidation, and that includes my fellow Conservative MPs. Just because Operation Midland was a failure does not mean Operation Conifer should be ignored.
‘There are powerful forces in the Establishment that always want to cover things up.’
This newspaper revealed in February that Mr Veale believed some of the claims concerning Sir Edward were ‘120 per cent’ genuine.
In 2008 Bono’s nonprofit ONE foundation raised $14,993,873 in public donations — of which only $184,732 (or just over ONE percent) was distributed to charities. Where did the rest go? More than $8m went to salaries for executives and employees at ONE.

Barrister brands mum of murdered schoolgirl Sarah Payne as ‘brain damaged’ in online rant
Human rights lawyer Barbara Hewson has been referred to the Bar Standards Board over the trolling of anti-paedophile crusader who suffered a stroke
A BARRISTER branded child abuse campaigner Sara Payne “brain damaged” in an online rant.
Human rights lawyer Barbara Hewson trolled the mum of murdered schoolgirl Sarah on Twitter.
In a tweet referring to a Sun justice campaign led by Sara and fellow anti-paedophile crusader Shy Keenan, the controversial lawyer wrote: ““A wicked crusade by Shy and her brain-damaged cohort, Sara.”
Sara, 49, suffered a stroke brought on by a brain aneurysm eight years ago which left her partially paralysed.
Ms Hewson’s trolling has been referred to the Bar Standards Board, which regulates barristers.
A source said: “It is a shockingly disgraceful attack on Sara, who had the misfortune to have her daughter murdered and later to have suffered a stroke.”
The tweet, posted last Wednesday, has since been deleted.
Ms Hewson, 56, who prides herself on her controversial online presence, was accused of trolling a number of child sex abuse victims earlier this year.
And she got a police harassment warning last March after a complaint by fellow lawyer Sarah Phillimore. She left her chambers the following month and is now self-employed.
Yesterday she said: “I used the expression ‘brain damaged’ as I understand Dr Payne had a stroke many years ago. You will be aware that a stroke causes brain damage.”
The Bar Standards Board and Sara Payne did not comment last night.
Roy Whiting got life in jail in 2001 for Sarah’s murder.
Penelope Mellor, aka Penny Mellor, 57, of Coven, Wolverhampton GUILTY on two charges of breaching a restraining order under Protection from Harassment Act 1997 by tweeting about Shy Kennan or her book, ‘Broken’
JAILED for four months for each of two counts of breaching a restraining order
GUILTY: Penny Mellor – breaching restraining order x2 (8 months to run concurrently). GUILTY: Sabine McNeill – stalking & breaching restraining orders (9 years sentence). GUILTY: Darren Laverty: Sending offensive messages (community service). Anybody joining those dots yet?
Jack Mount of Brookside School Culmington Manor Shropshire
Jack Mount was the headmaster and owner of Brookside School, a privately-run school in Craven Arms, Shropshire. Brookside School opened in 1965 and closed in 1985.
He had numerous charges brought against him including rape and indecent assault which he denied. The alleged abuse spanned many years with over 100 individuals making complaints to the police.
Culmington Manor is a 100-acre (40 ha) estate that today hosts various events and residential trips, providing exceptional facilities in an area of outstanding natural beauty. The park was created in the 19th century when the Manor was “surrounded by a small park, with two lodges at the entrance to drives”.
Folks, this is the man Barbara Hewson squarely sided with, using his case to belittle the work of Shy Keenan. Is it a coincidence that Hewson’s stalker buddy Penny Mellor also befriended this dirty old perv?
After Janner, Savile and Hall, it doesn’t surprise me in the least that Barbara Hewson comes down on the side of this man at the expense of child abuse campaigner Shy Keenan
Barbara Hewson, you define yourself by whom you defend and by whom you vilify.
Sordid sex sessions with girls aged 8 – 15 years old at Brookside School for emotionally disturbed children in Shropshire.
This was a big trial, and if not for is two daughters who are now in there late 60s went to the police and told them , there father Jack Mount also abused them when they were children , The police took statements and this is why the CPS put into action on a man who as walked away all these years time and time again, and again walked away
…I believe that the Sunday Times has defamed me, an issue that could have been easily avoided by some basic research as nearly all the documentation I have referred to is already in the public domain.
I expect both clarification and suitable retractions to appear in the next edition of the Sunday Times.
Regarding our conversation, it is surprising that your article does not mention that the Heath government was covertly concealing evidence of sexual crimes committed by Conservative MPs against minors, as confirmed by the Chief Whip at the time, Tim Fortescue, on the BBC TV interview of 1995, which was repeated in 2014. I wrote to the BBC`s Director General, Lord Hall, who confirmed that a copy of this film had been submitted to the IICSA in 2014.
If you would like copies of key documents, please let me know. It is only fair that you should have all the true facts and evidence before you.
Are you an establishment figure with a problem? Perhaps as Tim Fortescue said “a problem with small boys?” No problem, our presstitutes at the Times are experts in smearing police investigations and writing hit pieces. Please contact @TimesONeill@DAaronovitch@Fhamiltontimes

Top Tory slaps down police chief claims that Edward Heath was a Paedophile
Malcom Rifkind (second from left) at the Carlton Club
TORY grandee Sir Malcolm Rifkind dismissed new child sex abuse claims against Sir Edward Heath yesterday as “unsubstantiated gossip”.

Malcolm Rifkind, why did your mate give guns to a known paedophile?
Sài Gòn Séamus@SaiGonSeam
Wonder what interest Malcolm, overseer of British spies & cousin of Leon Brittan has in this? I’m sure the dunblane massacre has no bearing.
Billy Burns will have to wait till 2096 to see his submissions to the Dunblane Public Inquiry re freemasonry. Bet he can’t wait. I know I can’t. Can you? http://www.tomminogue.com/tom/?p=3465
Malcolm Rifkind knew nothing about child sex abuse at QVS
Since engineering the successfully-staged Exaro News “discrediting” and shutdown, THEY have been hugely busy “discrediting” and threatening survivors of elite paedophiles…
– “Discrediting” & dismissing Richard Kerr
– “Discrediting” & threatening Lord Janner’s accusers
– “Discrediting” & threatening Esther Baker
– And now “discrediting” & threatening “Nick”
Jolly well done, boys & girls of the dark arts!
By deceiving, undermining, misleading, misreporting, betraying, intimidating and threatening survivors of child sexual abuse, you have covered up one of the sickest secret’s of the post-war British governing class.
But make no mistake, retired and serving government paedophiles and their powerful allies: In this long war for justice, your shallow victories will prove fleeting.
We know who you are and we have the evidence. Soon the whole world will know you for who you really are.

National child sex abuse inquiry to consider Edward Heath probe reports
9 Sept 2017
The national child sex abuse inquiry will consider police reports of the investigation into Sir Edward Heath.
The Wiltshire Police probe, called Operation Conifer, was launched in 2015 after Sir Edward was named as a suspect in an investigation into historical child sex abuse.
There are currently 13 arms to the inquiry, scrutinising areas of public life ranging from local authorities to Westminster for child protection failings.
On August 30 it opened core participant applications for the Westminster investigation.
A spokesman for the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse (IICSA) said: “In the context of the Westminster investigation, the Inquiry will be interested to see and consider the outcome of Wiltshire Police’s investigation into allegations against Sir Edward Heath.
“The Inquiry’s remit is institutional failure to protect children and the Inquiry is unlikely to need to examine whether allegations of abuse made against any particular parliamentarian are true during the course of its work.
Here’s another one for ‘Lady’ Brittan and her family: The most sexualised child he had ever seen!
I look forward to when Leon Brittan’s offending and subsequent cover-up of the Dickens Dossier is exposed…..
Teen rent boy VANISHED after spying on VIP paedo ring
A TEENAGE rent boy sent to investigate a VIP paedo ring vanished after being asked to photograph the orgies.
A newspaper gave the lad a camera after he volunteered to expose the high-class perverts abusing youngsters at sex parties in the early 1980s.The lad named then-Home Secretary Leon Brittan as an attendee at the parties. But he disappeared hours after starting his probe – and was never seen again. The investigation was launched by journalists on a Sunday newspaper after a panicked late-night phone call from a different rent boy, who told reporters he feared for his life because a policeman tasked with protecting him had been ordered to close the case.In a shocking hour-long cry for help, he had told the newsmen: “Please, please help me. I’m in terrible danger. They will know I’ve been talking to the police.”Sobbing, he went on: “You cannot imagine what they will do to me if I’m caught. I have seen what they have done to others.”Reporters working on the 1980s case last week recalled they had no doubts the caller’s fears were real. The lad told them how he had become a rent boy working in London’s Leicester Square having arrived in the capital some years earlier. He began attending what he called “sex parties” in luxury houses and flats, and described the guests as “important, wealthy people, some very well-spoken”.He said he and other rent boys would be sent messages telling them when and where to wait for a car that would arrive and take them to a party. There would be good food and drink on offer for the lads – some of who were “quite young”, the worker said.He said he had no idea where the other lads came from, although some were runaways. When reporters pressed him about who the adults were attending these parties, the lad said they included MPs, and added: “Leon Brittan, he’s the Home Secretary.”Many other important men were present, but he said he didn’t know names. Some jetted in to an airfield on the outskirts of London – possibly RAF Northolt – and some of the UK-based men would fly abroad to join in orgies there. The teen said he thought Belgium was one destination. But one night he witnessed something – he wouldn’t say what – that left him fearing for his own and other boys’ safety. It was those fears that led to him contacting detectives at the Metropolitan police, sparking the investigation that had just collapsed when he contacted reporters.
It was in that first conversation with journalists at the Sunday Mirror that he said a detective had told him that the investigation had been stopped.“He told me that he’d been ordered to stop the investigation and could do nothing to help me,” the teen said. The boy then gave reporters the detective’s name and his direct telephone number. But when the paper called up, the detective said: “Don’t ever ring or try to contact me again.”The reporter said he knew Leon Brittan was involved and asked to meet up – but that terrified the policeman.“Look please – go away,” he said. “Don’t tell anyone you have spoken to me. I’ve been ordered to stop the investigation. All my files are gone.”Asked who had ordered the investigation stopped, he said: “The very top. It comes from there right down to my boss.“It has been made clear to me my job is on the line, my whole career. Please, leave me alone.”And he hung up.link

Paedophile Information Exchange: Leon Brittan ‘opposed banning pro-child sex campaign group‘
New papers show MP Geoffrey Dickens begged the late Home Secretary to outlaw the Paedophile Information Exchange – but his plea was rebuffed
A former senior detective has said police received allegations of child sex abuse made against Sir Edward Heath in 2001 – while the former prime minister was still alive.
The alleged victims were unhappy with Scotland Yard’s response, it is claimed.
An alleged victim, a woman, was interviewed by Clive Driscoll. He was then a detective inspector and in 2012 secured convictions against Stephen Lawrence’s murderers. He retired last year having reached the rank of detective chief inspector.
Driscoll told the Guardian the woman he interviewed said she had been abused as a child by a group of people, including Heath on multiple occasions: “The person was 100% sure they were talking about Ted Heath. She totally believed what she was saying and that’s where the investigation starts, not where it stops.”
The woman claimed the abuse happened at a time after Heath had served as prime minister. Driscoll said others made similar abuse allegations, but he was not asked to take statements from them.
Driscoll said those close to people who said they were attacked by Heath were unhappy with the police response to their claims.
Driscoll was picked for the task of interviewing the complainant, having been moved off a child sex abuse investigation in Lambeth, south London, after unearthing claims a Labour party figure may have been involved.
On Tuesday night there was no comment from the Metropolitan police.
Never forget Proctor was found guilty and jailed for underage sex. Like Jonathan King he’s an unrepentant paedophile.

PROCTOR INTERVIEW 5,6,7,8
DC: Who were your close political friends?
Harvey Proctor: People like Enoch Powell, Patrick Wall, Sir John Biggs-Davison, Roger Moate MP, Ulster Unionists – I went to Northern Ireland once a year – Jim Molyneaux, John Taylor. I regularly went to Enoch Powell’s house…
Since the truth re. Heath has emerged, I’m more intrigued than ever as to why this woman always rushes to the defence of paedo politicians.
I sincerely believe that @InquiryCSAshould also look into the relentless bashing of CSA survivors by barrister Barbara Hewson. (Cousin of Jonathan Denby – friend and former solicitor of Harvey Proctor)
Have I missed something? Is Harvey Proctor now running@InquiryCSA ?
I thought he was impoverished? Who is giving him serious financial backing? And why?
He puts on a press event in a posh setting then goes to live in a shed?
I struggle to believe that non of his supporters here have never offered him a room. They surely would not see him in a shed?
And can’t his longstanding mate Jonathan Denby spare a bob or two for some better digs?
Why not let @InquiryCSA hear the submissions & stop interfering Mr Proctor. You’re not the one who decides what an Independent Inquiry does
I’m not sure we can be having an ex Westminster MP telling our Independent CSA Inquiry how to run their inquiry, can we? #IICSA

Harvey Proctor, the one who taught English to a naked young Arab boy & caned English ones
Proctor claimed in his book (ironically titled “Credible and True”) he only took to his room to teach him how to speak English?
It’s intriguing as to why the boy had to be naked to learn English, don’t you think?

Findings of Sir Edward Heath ‘child sex’ investigation to be released
THE findings of a police investigation into allegations that Sir Edward Heath was a paedophile will be published in the summer.
Those close to Operation Conifer have rubbished claims that the investigation has been wound up, revealing that officers are still pursuing “significant lines of inquiry”.It had been reported that no evidence had been found to tarnish the former prime minister’s reputation and that any findings would not be published.
But a Wiltshire Police source said: “The investigation is ongoing and hasn’t been closed
We’ve got a team of 20 people still working on it following a number of significant lines of inquiry.
“A public report is due to be published in June.
“There appears to be a bunch of people who are pro-Ted Heath in the House of Lords and Parliament who have been insisting ‘there’s nothing to see here’ and suggesting that the investigation has been wound up. It hasn’t.
we’d hardly be continuing inquiries and planning to publish a report if there was nothing to say.”
The investigation began in August 2015 when Supt Sean Memory, standing outside Sir Edward’s former home in Salisbury, launched an appeal for alleged victims to come forward.
Two-year investigation into allegations that Sir Edward Heath was a paedophile is branded an ‘idiotic waste of public money’
MP for North Wiltshire James Gray said probe was ‘pretty pointless investigation’
James Gray MP signed an early day motion for Jimmy Savile – maybe Gray’s not such a good judge of character
Edward Heath’s principal private secretary when he was prime minister, Lord Armstrong of Ilminster, said he expects the force’s chief constable to come under increased pressure to stand down on the publication of the summary findings.
‘I think Mr Veale will be subject to a great deal of criticism if this investigation proves to be a dead duck. It is for him and his crime commissioner to decide whether he goes or stays. He will be under great pressure to resign,’ Lord Armstrong told The Telegraph.
Mr Gray has accused the force of wasting money and resources on a case that could never be brought to court.
‘He’s dead, for goodness’ sake, and the case against him seems pretty flimsy to say the least’ said the MP writing for his local paper the Wiltshire Gazette.
The home housed poor children from infants to teenagers in what were intended to be “idyllic cottages”.
One former resident at Beechholme, in Banstead, has said he is “beyond angry” at the scale of the alleged sexual and physical abuse against vulnerable children.
It has been established through a Freedom of Information (FOI) request that at least 58 people have made formal complaints about abuse in the care home.
Police have indicated that these numbers are likely to rise.
It is understood that many of those who have reported suffering sexual abuse at the so-called “children’s village” at Beechholme have made multiple allegations.
There may be as many as 105 separate allegations against alleged abusers at the now-demolished home for orphans and vulnerable children.
This may also be set to rise, as Surrey Police indicate the numbers they receive are changing “on a daily basis”.
The home was under the control of London County Council from 1930, before being handed over to Wandsworth in 1965 and closing its doors in 1974 for demolition the following year.
Surrey Police are investigating claims of abuse between 1957 and 1974.
Graeme Sargeant entered the home as a young boy in 1960, and the now 61-year-old claims he suffered repeated abuse at the hands of adults at Beechholme where he claims he was forced to perform sex acts and paraded around naked.
He now campaigns on behalf of other survivors of alleged abuse at the home on Fir Tree Road and is angered by the scale of the alleged suffering
Mr Sargeant said: “It makes me more than angry. I’m seething.
“I’ve been informed that there have been 105 allegations about Beechholme.
“It is hard to believe the extent of the allegations, they are of a perverted nature and go right back.”
Arrest have been made as part of the investigation into alleged abuse at Beechholme, with people released under investigation.
There are believed to be staff links between Beechholme and an abuser who worked for the infamous Shirley Oaks care home.
It is understood the current investigation may take four years but Mr Sargeant, who works to represent other Beechholme residents, wants action.
He has had to relive the memories of Beechholme as more people come to him to share their harrowing stories.
The burden has taken its toll on Mr Sargeant who is still plagued by nightmares from his days in care and beset by flashbacks.
But he is determined to campaign for answers as to what happened in the children’s home where he says he was robbed of a childhood.
He said: “It upsets me. The things you hear are horrendous.
“Their stories have got to be told though. These people can’t be allowed to have suffered in vain.
“These people do not deserve to have been treated like this.
“I’m having nightmares and flashbacks. I’m also hearing what others have gone through – it’s dark.
“But however long it takes we will get justice.”
Hello Barbara. I was wondering if we might have a chat about your writing/campaigning re CSA survivors?
She (Hewson) appears to go obsessively from one survivor to another. There’s more to this than meets the eye, you can be sure of that.
Dame Alun Roberts@ciabaudo
Yes, makes you wonder what her motives are and who she is protecting. And who is pulling her strings!
Coincidence that cousin and uncle of Hewson had multiple links to paedo scene while she allies herself with hard-core convicted paedos?
Will Barbara Hewson stand by her mockery of CSA survivors on TV or is she just a keyboard warrior?
Myself and JR were last night’s targets because I mentioned the ‘Heath’ word. It triggers her. It’s a Proctor/Johnathan Denby thing…
Dame Alun Roberts@ciabaudo
Yes, she doesn’t like being reminded that she is the cousin of Proctor’s solicitor and that he and her uncle had contacts with paedophiles.
A campaign to frighten a former friend and business associate! There is something weird about that family!
Mr Denby was in desperate need of money and had given his former partners charges for the sum over his assets, including his Georgian town house in Canonbury Square, Islington, north London.
Outrage at barrister who called Stuart Hall’s crimes ‘low level’
Miss Hewson, 52 lives in a £1million home in Islington, North London

What he did was to spoil my sense of myself, my relationship with myself, my feeling of who I was for many years. His actions filled me shame and secrecy, and had a terrible effect too on my relationship with my mother.
Her cousin, Jonathan Denby, has been a good friend of Proctor for almost 50yrs. Est. 1968. Don’t mention ‘Enoch’ or Denby’s conviction.
And whatever you do, don’t mention Cleveland. Makes them very jumpy
When they ridicule such an investigation you know it has merit.
Dame Alun Roberts@ciabaudo
Armstrong knew about (paedophile) Peter Hayman all along. I will hazard a guess he knew about Heath too! Lord Armstrong nonchalantly admits he was fully aware of Hayman’s perversion but didn’t give a toss about the kids.
Patrick Rock was a Conservative activist and Parliamentary candidate from the late 1970s onwards. He was given an OBE for political service in 1992. In 2011 David Cameron brought him into No 10 as Deputy Director of Policy. He was charged with making indecent images of children in 2014. He received a two-year conditional discharge in June last year.
When the Tories returned to power, William Whitelaw stepped into the post of Chief Whip. He unashamedly confessed that he continued the practice to the BBC in 1995: “‘The Dirt Book’ is just a little book where you write down various things you know or hear about people that may or may not be true. I think you could make a very good guess what sorts of things it contains”.
William Whitelaw became NI Secretary, 1972-1974. Hence by 1972, both the British PM and the NI Secretary were experienced sexual blackmailers, hardly a deterrent to anyone in the intelligence community who wanted to engage in sexual blackmail at places like Kincora.
Heath appointed William Whitelaw as the first Secretary of State for NI. Whitelaw’s heart was already encased in ice from his stint as a blackmailing chief whip. The Kincora scandal festered under his NI watch. When he served as Home Secretary, 1979-83, he maintained his sleazy habits. On 6 December 2014, the Mail reported that in 1980 he “allegedly told a senior Metropolitan Police boss to quash a year-long investigation into a gang accused of abusing 40 children, the youngest of whom was six”. The alleged intervention came in 1980 after a newspaper revealed the country’s chief prosecutor was considering 350 offences against the gang, including allegations it “obtained young boys for politicians, prominent lawyers and film stars. The report, published on July 7 that year in the Evening News – a daily London newspaper – revealed police had passed evidence to the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) and that up to 12 men could face trial for procuring boys and sexual assault”.
The journalist who wrote the story was Jeff Edwards. He revealed that just days after it was published he was summoned by police to an interview and threatened with prosecution under the Official Secrets Act. According to the Mail, “Edwards also claims his source, a serving police officer, was disciplined and fined six months’ wages for leaking the story”.
Whitelaw’s deputy at the NIO during 1972-74 was the late William van Straubenzee, another lifelong bachelor. He was named in child abuse files unearthed by the Cabinet Office in July of 2015. The detail of the allegations levelled against him are still unclear save that they concerned child abuse.
There were other pernicious appointments: in 1973 Heath placed Sir Maurice Oldfield in charge of MI6, where he served until 1978. Oldfield was a notorious abuser of rent boys. The Hart Report reveals that records furnished to it by MI6 demonstrated that Oldfield had a ‘relationship’ with the ‘head’ of Kincora. The nature of the relationship was not described but it cannot have been innocent.
On 23 April 1987, Margaret Thatcher dropped a bombshell in the House of Commons when she revealed that after Oldfield’s appointment as Security Co-ordinator in Northern Ireland in October 1979, “reports were received which caused his positive vetting clearance to be reviewed. In March 1980, in the course of that review, he made an admission that he had from time to time engaged in homosexual activities.
Heath did not need to infiltrate one of his creatures into the Ministry of Defence because it already had a resident monster, Sir James Dunnett. He ran it between 1969 and 1974. Dunnett infamously paid male prostitutes whom he picked up at Piccadilly Circus – ‘Dilly Boys’ – for sex. His reputation was shattered by his involvement with Vicky de Lambray, a transvestite male prostitute who stole his cheque book. De Lambray was put on trial in March 1983 instantly igniting a media frenzy during which Dunnett’s name became public knowledge. De Lambray later died in suspicious circumstances.
The RU C spent decades covering up the crimes of the A-IVR. It is not possible to put a figure on how many lives were destroyed. At a minimum, it involved hundreds of boys, and also some girls.
In June of 2016 BBC NI’s Spotlight exposed the aberrant crimes of Dr Moris Fraser, a psychiatrist who specialised in child psychiatry. Fraser is still alive. Richard Kerr was sent to him for a review while he was still a resident at Williamstown House. Fraser took photographs of his private parts and later visited him at the home. Kerr was only ten. Fraser groped him during these visits. Kerr was later abused while a resident at Kincora and then trafficked to England.
It will be interesting to see if Fraser will be arrested by the PSNI, the successor organisation to the RUC. The darker elements of MI5 will be shocked if this happens because Fraser knows many of the secrets of the A-IVR. Worse still, his prosecution would undermine the finding of the Hart Report that Kincora was an isolated aberration and not part of a wider network.
Protecting the Anglo-Irish Vice Ring
For decades the members of the A-IVR were untouchable. That changed after the eruption of the Troubles, when MI5 swept in and blackmailed and exploited some of them for various nefarious reasons.
One of their victims was Richard Kerr, who was put into care on 16 December, 1966. At the age of 8 he was abused by Eric Witchell, an Anglican lay monk, who was a friend of the man who ran Kincora Boys’ Home, Warden Joe Mains. Witchell was later jailed for abusing other boys at Williamson House, where he had been headmaster.

James was educated at Hillhead Primary School and Glasgow High School and later read history at Glasgow University and Christ Church, Oxford. Before entering Parliament, James’s career was in business. After Oxford, he worked as a graduate management trainee with P&O for a year. Westminster Strategy gains Bercow expertise
April 19, 1996
Lobbying firm Westminster Strategy has recruited ex-ministerial special adviser John Bercow as a senior consultant.
Bercow was previously adviser to heritage secretary Virginia Bottomley, before which he supported former Chief Secretary to the Treasury Jonathan Aitken.
Bercow became a special adviser in 1995 after six years as a consultant with Rowland Sallingbury Casey. He left Virginia Bottomley’s office in February after being selected as Tory parliamentary candidate for Buckingham.
Westminster Strategy director James Gray, himself a Tory parliamentary hopeful for North Wiltshire, said that Bercow would add an ‘enormous amount’ to the agency. He said his three main contributions would be his long experience as a public affairs consultant, his experience in government departments and his inside knowledge of the Conservative Party.

Tony Blair’s former school, Fettes College in Edinburgh, removes tributes to ‘abusers’
One of the UK’s best known independent schools has started to distance itself from two of the most celebrated figures in its history as it braces for revelations from the Scottish Child Abuse Inquiry.

Fettes College in Edinburgh, which counts Tony Blair among its old boys, has removed from the chapel a plaque to Ronald Selby Wright, its most famous former chaplain, once described by the school’s historian as the former prime minister’s spiritual mentor.
Top Edinburgh school removes ex-head’s portrait amid sex abuse inquiry
Fettes College is one of the most expensive private schools in Scotland.
25 March 2018
A leading private school has removed a portrait of one its former headmasters from its Great Hall, ahead of a major inquiry into historical sexual abuse examines claims against him. Fettes College in Edinburgh have taken the action as the Scottish Child Abuse Inquiry looks into allegations against Anthony Chenevix-Trench following allegations he would beat pupils for his own sexual gratification. The school, whose alumni include former Prime Minister Tony Blair, has also carried out its own internal investigation over the claims. Chenevix-Trench, was appointed to his post at Fettes in 1971 and remained until his death in 1979, aged 60. David Blackie, 71, who claims to have endured brutal sadism from Chenevix-Trench, campaigned for the school to remove the portrait. A statement released by Fettes’ governors said: “We have no information to suggest that any crime was committed by Mr Chenevix-Trench while at Fettes. “However, as we have reported to the Scottish Child Abuse Inquiry, his specific judgment in handling two specific matters did not measure up to the excellent pastoral care we pride ourselves on at Fettes today.”
A Panorama programme about the former Liberal leader Jeremy Thorpe, which was pulled by the BBC in 1979, is finally to be shown on television.
The decision to axe the documentary was taken by Ian Trethowan, then the BBC’s director-general, who ordered producers to hand over, or destroy, all copies about the married MP accused of conspiracy to murder his former lover, Norman Scott.
However, Tom Mangold, 83, who was the reporter on the programme, said: “I kept one copy. It’s a programme about an Establishment cover-up.”
The programme had uncovered details of the most sensational political scandal in a generation. it revealed that the police and security services knew about Thorpe’s…
In this Mailonline article by Tom Mangold’s, a highly respected journalist, ex Panorama, etc., he clearly says FBI tipped off Special Branch and Devon and Cornwall Police that on his visits to New York Thorpe picked up rent boys in Times Square.
Love rat Conservative MP claims expenses for rent he pays to Tory donor
James Gray claims for a second home and office that are both owned through a trust by local party grandee Sir James Henry Fleetwood Fuller, 4th Baronet
Sir James and his family have given the Tories almost £20,000.
The gifts include £5,740 to Mr Gray’s local North Wiltshire party from the Baronet’s grandmother Lady Mary.
The MP rents the farmhouse and adjacent office at Ganbrook Farm from Andrews Settlement, a trust of Sir James’s Neston Park estate
That is despite the local Conservative Association building several miles away being publicly listed as his constituency office.
Mr Gray claims £4,800-a-year from Commons allowances for the office and another £13,474 for the second home.
Sir James has given £2,000 to the neighbouring Chippenham Conservative Association while his grandmother has donated another £17,950 to the Tories.
Mr Gray today said he had “no idea whether he is a Tory donor or not”.
And the North Wiltshire MP insisted: “It’s not a money-go-round at all.”
The two leases have been approved by the expenses watchdog, he stressed.
“It really is clutching at straws with this because there is absolutely nothing even slightly improper about any of it,” he added.
But the cosy arrangement was slammed by Mark Serwotka, of the civil service PCS union.
“While Tories cheerfully drive more people into poverty by cutting pay and social security for the unemployed, sick and disabled, they’re all too happy to line the pockets of their wealthy friends,” he said.
Mr Gray hit the headlines by cheating on his cancer-stricken wife with a married woman Philippa Mayo, in 2006.
He has since married Philippa, who is paid up to £35,000-a-year of taxpayers’ cash as his diary secretary.
Parliament’s website says that Mr Gray can be contacted through his local Conservative Association office and even gives the email of a woman who works there.
But the MP said he had not been based there for at least seven years.
“Its not my office, I have no office, I have no phone I have no computers, I have no people, I have no linkage and above all no money at all is paid to them,” he said.
“Its not my office. I only have one office in my constituency and that is next door to my house.”
Mr Gray said that he does all his constituency work through his Westminster office, which is advertised on his website, even through his wife is base in Wiltshire.
“She does a whole variety of things really. Mainly the diary, local press contacts, local work. And of course I work from there too,” he said.
Mr Gray initially denied putting the Constituency Association contact number on the Parliament website but later said his staff may have supplied it “years ago”.
Sir James gave his £2,000 donation to Chippenham Conservatives, his local association, in 2009.
His grandmother has made eight separate donations between 2001 and 2010. That included three to the North Wiltshire constituency party.
118. The fact that Cyril Smith’s public standing and professional career were never negatively impacted in any significant way by the suggestion that he was involved in child sexual abuse has given rise to considerable speculation that he was in some way protected by other politicians. We may consider the possibility that Smith was actively supported at the level of national politics, or at the very least, had a blind eye turned towards allegations against him, as part of the Westminster investigation.
Police chief heading up the probe into Edward Heath will send his findings to the child sex-abuse inquiry

Wiltshire Police Chief Constable Mike Veale has spoken with the IICSA
Wiltshire Police rejected calls for Veale to resign over how he handled operation
Veale announced that the investigation was expected to end in the autumn
Tory MPs claim the £2m probe is ‘awaste of money’ based on ‘flimsy’ evidence
Wiltshire Police has rejected calls for Mr Veale to resign over his handling of Operation Conifer, which has investigated allegations against Sir Edward, who died in 2005.
Mr Veale – who has said privately that he believes the paedophile claims against Heath are ‘120 per cent’ genuine – shows no sign of backing down. A Wiltshire Police spokesman said last week talks on the outcome of the Heath inquiry had already been held with Professor Jay’s team.
He said: ‘We have briefed IICSA and we will make available to them our report such that they can consider it relative to the terms of reference of the public inquiry.’
The spokesman also hit back at calls for Mr Veale to resign saying he had a duty to investigate ‘allegations, regardless of whether the alleged offender is living or deceased’.
More than 30 people are understood to have made claims of sexual abuse by Sir Edward. The investigation was set up after the Jimmy Savile scandal.
Sir Richard Henriques is being lined up to report on Wiltshire Police’s controversial two year probe into the late former Prime Minister, who has been the subject of a number of paedophile allegations.
Mike Veale, the Chief Constable of Wiltshire Police, who has been under intense pressure to justify the investigation, has pledged to produce a report on his findings later this year.
But the Telegraph understands that Sir Richard will be brought in to review the investigation in the coming weeks in order to provide some independent scrutiny.
Mr Veale had wanted Alexis Jay, who is chairing the Independent Inquiry into Child Sex Abuse, to review the case, but she refused.
A meeting between Angus Macpherson, the Police and Crime Commissioner for Wiltshire, Mr Veale and supporters of Sir Edward is due to take place in two weeks, after which Sir Richard is expected to be appointed.
One alleged victim, who can only be identified as Nick, was described by one officer as “credible and true”.
His complaints against Sir Edward are understood to form part of the Operation Conifer evidence.
There’s ever growing desperation in the Fail’s absolutely humdrum and trivial attempt to dig up something to stop Operation Conifer
They talk about a conflict of interest and in the next line print a comment from Edward Heath’s godson (as they do every time).

The Wheelyboat Trust was originally called the Handicapped Anglers Trust when it was formed in 1984 to promote and provide its newly developed Wheelyboat to fisheries to help them provide access for disabled anglers.
The Trust’s Founder, Alan Faulkner, conceived the idea of the Wheelyboat after his friend, Bill Buchanan, fell from a tree and broke his back. Alan was determined that in spite of Bill’s disability (the injury had left him a wheelchair user) they would continue to enjoy each other’s company while fishing. Having drawn up plans for a prototype accessible boat he brought a team of people together and the first Wheelyboat built received its official launch from Prince Prince Charlesand Bill Buchanan discuss the merits of the Wheelyboat at its launch. In 2004, the name was changed to The Wheelyboat Trust to reflect the Trust’s broader aims and the clear need for Wheelyboats beyond the fishing lake.

Formerly known as HANDICAPPED ANGLERS TRUST
Trustee Sir Geoffrey Johnson Smith MP / London Youth trust/ Travellers Club
Geoffrey Smith joined the Royal Artillery straight from Charterhouse School in 1942
(Charterhouse has a masonic lodge)
Sir Geoffrey Johnson Smith, was a television reporter who switched to politics and enjoyed a 41-year career in the Commons.
He seemed destined for high office. But his prospects were dashed when it emerged that he — imprudently, in his critics’ view — held a meeting while Minister for the Army with the bank robber and self-styled MI6 agent Kenneth Littlejohn.
Johnson Smith was one of a clutch of Oxford Union debaters who graduated to television as it took off as a popular medium in the early 1950s, reckoning it a stepping stone to Parliament; they included Robin Day (who was never elected), Jeremy Thorpe and the athlete Chris Chataway.

August 10, 1949
He was later a presenter of the BBC magazine programme Tonight in the late 1950s.
Sir Alec Douglas-Home quickly appointed him an Opposition whip, and when Edward Heath became leader that summer he made Johnson-Smith a party vice-chairman.
When Heath came to power in 1970 he kept Johnson-Smith at Central Office. Soon afterwards Iain Macleod died suddenly, the party Chairman Anthony Barber taking his place and Johnson-Smith becoming acting chairman. He was never in the running for the top job, despite his popularity among Conservative ladies, and in April 1971 he instead became Under-Secretary for Defence for the Army.
Johnson-Smith, who was later to launch a successful campaign on behalf of haemophiliacs who had been given infected blood, fought a long battle to curb the Church of Scientology. The Church had its headquarters near East Grinstead and in 1970 he endured a six-week libel case before a jury vindicated his stance.
When Margaret Thatcher took the leadership, she asked him to oversee media activities at Central Office alongside a fellow television professional, Gordon Reece
From 1980 to 1996 he chaired the select committee on Member’s Interests, having to field embarrassing questions about the business activities of Mrs Thatcher’s son Mark.
Johnson-Smith specialised increasingly in defence. From 1985 he chaired the military committee of the North Atlantic Assembly, and from 1987 to 1997 he led the British delegation. For six years he chaired the Conservative backbench defence committee.
He was knighted in 1982 and sworn of the Privy Council in 1996.
After the Bloody Sunday killings of January 1972, he mounted an uncompromising defence of the Parachute Regiment: “It is bad enough for our troops to have to run all the perils and be shot at by gunmen without having their pain increased by smears in this House.”
A party vice-chairman under Edward Heath, Johnson Smith was unfailingly loyal to the leader of the day. He served for more than 20 years on the 1922 Committee executive , keeping Margaret Thatcher, John Major and William Hague in touch with backbench feeling.
Pamela, Lady Onslow was an aristocratic divorcee who occupied part of her time with the ex-Borstal organisation “Teamwork Associates” in London. Littlejohn’s brother, Keith, had spent time in Borstal and was known to Lady Onslow through the organisation. Lady Onslow was made aware of information in Littlejohn’s possession and contacted her friend, Lord Carrington.
On 22 November 1971, a meeting was arranged at Onslow’s London flat between Littlejohn and British minister Geoffrey Johnson Smith. It was at this time that the official Wanted status in respect of the Smethwick robbery was downgraded to Desired to Interview.
On 18 September 1972, Edmund Woolsey, a 32 year old Catholic, was killed by booby trap attached to his car. Two of his friends were injured. The car had been stolen a week earlier. The police informed Woolsey that the car had been found abandoned at Glasdrumman, near Crossmaglen, County Armagh. The bomb exploded as they went to retrieve their vehicle. While not a member of the Officials, Woolsey was known to the Littlejohns and socialised in similar circles. The Official IRA determined that Woolsey had been lured to his death by the army who had set up the booby trap based on information supplied by the Littlejohns.
FORMER British Prime Minister Sir Edward Heath was yesterday granted permission to give evidence to the Bloody Sunday Inquiry when it moves to London.
The tribunal into the January 1972 atrocity when paratroopers shot dead 13 civil rights marchers in Derry also ruled that former Foreign Secretary Lord Carrington and his parliamentary under secretary Sir Geoffrey Johnson-Smith should not have to travel to the North.

Duckworth-Chad’s wife, Elizabeth Wake-Walker, is a first cousin of Diana, Princess of Wales, and he is also reported to be a close friend of Charles, Prince of Wales. His son James was Equerry to The Queen from 2001 to 2004, and his daughter Davina is a friend of her second cousins The Duke of Cambridge and Prince Harry, both of whom attended her marriage to Tom Barber at Pynkney Hall on 25 September 2004.
He is the son of Anthony John Stanhope Duckworth-Chad, the son of John Herbert Duckworth and Margaret Leonora Evelyn Selina Herbert. Anthony Duckworth-Chad’s grandfather, Sir George Duckworth (1868–1934), was a half-brother of the painter Vanessa Bell and the writer Virginia Woolf (the latter charged George and her other half-brother, Gerald, with molesting her as a child and teenager).

Lord Lichfield Focuses on Two Loves—wife Leonora and His Photography
As one of London’s resident rakes in the swinging ’60s, Patrick, the fifth Earl of Lichfield—and a cousin of Queen Elizabeth II—loved beautiful women, glittery nightlife and himself almost as much as he loved photography. He was linked to jet-set beauties such as Britt Ekland, Jane Seymour, Gayle Hunnicutt and Dewi Sukarno; his premarital manifesto concluded that “fidelity is not essential. I’m sure I shall never be completely faithful to one woman.”
Lichfield has always led a somewhat charmed existence. Born in London, he was evacuated during World War II to Scotland’s Glamis Castle just north of Dundee. (His maternal grandfather was the elder brother of Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon, the 83-year-old Queen Mother.)
A few months back he made headlines when several models complained that he had asked them to strip for video auditions so that he could choose subjects for a nude calendar he was planning.
Lincoln Seligman- about the same age as Jonathan Denby, was also a shipping lawyer –
He was born in 1950 and studied law at Balliol College, Oxford. He became a shipping lawyer but on the birth of his son he decided to make a career in his first love, art. He is a sculptor who has created large-scale mobile atrium pieces in landmark buildings
After reading law at Oxford, Seligman trained as a barrister and then joined a shipping company in the City. His heart was never really in the legal profession, so he decided to pursue his real passion – art.

A newspaper photograph of Edward Heath on a beach with his godchild so touched the sensibilities of one woman that when she died nine years later, she left him a diamond ring to dispose of as he pleases. He can offer the little girl with whom he went hand in hand from the sea to the beach.
Savile took advantage of letters from schoolchildren to the Jim’ll Fix It programme to find victims, and allegations against him include 14 offences relating to schools around the country.
“Much as Savile could turn up to a hospital and expect a warm welcome, he went to a number of schools because children had written to him, a Jim’ll Fix It-type letter,” said Mr Gray. “His peak offending came with the peak of his success.”
2 crew drowned: only 1 body was found. 2 additional unidentified bodies washed up in the same storm. 2 GodChildren died (both Chadd brothers).
Wonder why they didn’t release the age or gender of either of the the other two ‘partly decomposed bodies’.
Licenced ‘burials at sea’ would have had a specific/regulation coffin at the point of ‘burial’ – so that it sank to a deep trench at the bottom of the sea.
The 2 ‘partly decomposed’ bodies appear to have been ‘deposited’ in the sea post-mortem. If ‘death by drowning’ bodies float to the surface later.

Despite achieving great success, Mrs Chadd’s family life has been fraught with moments of tragedy.
In 1950, she married her husband Colonel George Chadd – former prime minister Ted Heath was best man at their wedding.
Together, they looked after Chadds of Lowestoft, she lost two of her sons within two years.
Christopher drowned when Morning Cloud, Ted Heath’s boat, capsized in a storm sailing back to Cowes and Timothy was killed in a hit and run car accident in 1976 during a holiday in France.
During the second world war, she joined the Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead where she helped rehabilitate pilots with serious burns.
She later became the County Almoner for East Sussex where she cared for terminally ill people. During her work in Southern England, she was approached by RAF pilot Group Captain Leonard Cheshire to see whether he could take on some of her patients for a new care home he was setting up in a country house.
The move was blocked, but he went on to found 150 Cheshire homes across the world.
Meanwhile, in 1947 she first encountered fellow almoner Cicely Saunders. The pair were both struck by how hospitals cared for dying people. Their discussions would eventually culminate in the opening of the St Christopher’s Hospice in Sydenham, where Mrs Chadd spent some time working as the centre’s almoner. Following the death of her sons, she set up an organisation for grieving parents called Compassionate Friends and trained in London as bereavement councillor for Cruse Bereavement Care.
She spent 24 years as an organiser at the Waveney branch of Cruse, and the same amount of time working as a Lowestoft magistrate. In 1990, she was made an MBE for services to the Red Cross.
Margaret trained as a Hospital Lady Almoner – a welfare post now replaced by social workers with little if any medical training. During the second world war she worked at the now legendary Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead under pioneering plastic surgeon Archibald McIndoe.
Colonel Chadd – a former deputy lieutenant for Suffolk – died in 1997 and his widow moved to a flat in Southwold six years later.
Meeting Colonel George Chadd in Southwold, she married him in 1950. Ted Heath, a war-time friend of the groom, was their best man and later godfather to Christopher, the eldest of their four sons.
They lived just outside Lowestoft, where Colonel Chadd ran the family retailing business. Alas, he had had to sell Southwold’s Grand Hotel in order to buy their marital home, and, to their dismay, the war-damaged seafront building was later demolished.
In the summer of 1974, Christopher Chadd was helping to take the lately-ousted Prime Minister’s yacht, Morning Cloud, back to Cowes when the boat capsized in a storm and he drowned. Exactly two years later his student brother Timothy was killed by a hit and run driver when on holiday in France.
organiser for the Waveney branch of Cruse and a very caring Lowestoft magistrate – each for 24 years. In this period the Chadds moved to an ancient house in Wangford, where they created a garden in memory of their two sons.
McIndoe and Mullins had a close working relationship. Margaret Chadd who worked at the hospital at the time remembers, “She could anticipate every move that her boss would make in the theatre, so close was their teamwork – words were not needed – it was amazing to watch.”
George Chadd served in the army during the Second World War and afterwards had the responsibility for holding John Amery and Mrs Mussolini and her children at his internment camp. He later became Deputy Lieutenant for the County of Suffolk, often having to represent Queen Elizabeth II, as well as serving time as the High Steward of Southwold.
After the war Margaret became County Almoner for East Sussex and dealt with patients who were suffering from life threatening illnesses. More recently, over the past twenty years, she has been involved with the BRCS as a Welfare Officer and became Vice President, initiating Cruse Bereavement Care in Suffolk and is now endeavouring to establish a much needed hospice for the most easterly part of England, where she lives.
Tragically Margaret’s eldest son Christopher was drowned when the yacht ‘Morning Cloud’ broke up in a freak wave while sailing from Burnham to Cowes on 2nd September 1974 at the age of 23. The yacht belonged to Christopher’s godfather and former Prime Minister Edward Heath, who was also the best man at the wedding of Margaret Collett and George Chadd in 1950. A further tragedy struck the family just two years later when, on 7th September 1976, Margaret’s son Timothy was killed when he was hit by a car while crossing a road in Caen in France. He was only 20 years old.
Nancy-Joan Seligman, who has died aged 94, was a god-daughter of Rudyard Kipling and, as the wife of Sir Edward Heath’s closest friend, Madron Seligman, was one of the few people able to tease the former Prime Minister with impunity.
Nancy-Joan Seligman and her husband Madron Seligman with Sir Edward Heath
21 Sep 2012
She was born Nancy-Joan Marks in Battersea during a Zeppelin raid on January 29 1918, the eldest child of Julian Marks, one of the founders of the Financial Times, and Nancy Pleasance-Hollingsworth, a spirited American from Philadelphia. Nancy-Joan was also the great-niece of Emma Lazarus, whose famous sonnet The New Colossus (“Not like the brazen giant of Greek fame/ With conquering limbs astride from land to land…”) is inscribed on the Statue of Liberty.
Nancy-Joan spent her early years in London as well as at Burwash, Sussex, next to Bateman’s, the home of her godfather Rudyard Kipling. Her Christian name was a combination of her mother’s name, Nancy, with Joan — a tribute to Kipling’s only son, John, killed in the First World War. She had vivid memories of Bateman’s, recalling how Kipling would allow her to play in his study, tell her stories and take her and her siblings for rides in his small rowing boat on the lake.
Nancy-Joan was a reluctant debutante in the 1930s, managing to drop the train of her dress into the lavatory before joining the queue of debs to be presented to Queen Mary. She joined the WRNS on the outbreak of war, driving ambulances and working, also as a driver, at Bletchley Park. She lived in Chelsea and, staying true to the circumstances of her birth, she and her father terrified the rest of their family by refusing to go to the air raid shelter during bombing raids.
Nancy-Joan met her husband, Madron Seligman, in 1935. They were both 17, but did not marry until 1947.
Madron Seligman spent most of his career in industry, and in 1979 he beat Boris Johnson’s father Stanley to be selected as the Conservative candidate for West Sussex in the first European Parliamentary elections.
Seligman went on to win the seat by a margin of 95,484 votes, earning a place in The Guinness Book of Records. He held the seat until he retired in 1994, and Stanley Johnson went on to become a good friend to the Seligmans.
Nancy-Joan was a constant presence at Seligman’s side in Sussex, Strasbourg and Brussels. Having spent time at school in France, she spoke immaculate French and was an invaluable social and administrative support. They were at the centre of a group of committed pro-Europeans who remained their friends for life.
Madron Seligman was the oldest friend of the former Prime Minister Sir Edward Heath, whom he had met at Balliol College, Oxford, in 1937. Heath played the organ at the Seligmans’ wedding, including a short piece, composed by the groom, to herald the entrance of the bride. Given the signal, Heath duly pulled out all the stops and began to play — only to find that the bride had been waylaid by photographers in the church porch. After performing the piece 13 times, he vowed never to play at another wedding.
Heath became godfather to Nancy-Joan’s eldest son, Lincoln, and was known to the family as “Uncle Teddy”. He frequently went on holiday with them and took part in family occasions.
It was with the Seligmans at Villefranche that Heath went to stay immediately after his election as leader of the Conservative Party; and Seligman was with him in Bexley in 1970 when Heath secured a general election victory that many doubted he could win.
At the time of Heath’s premiership, Madron Seligman had no political aspirations, and he and Nancy-Joan were in a unique position to offer honest and objective friendship to the rather isolated leader. Seligman Christmases were spent at Chequers, where Nancy-Joan played Mother Christmas, always providing the Prime Minister with a Christmas stocking. One Christmas, she berated him for his greed when, having opened his stocking before breakfast, he mistook the small globes of bubble bath for sweets, and ate them, later appearing with traces of foam around his mouth.
Because of her family’s close friendship with the famously touchy Tory leader, she was allowed to tease him and, as a woman of considerable frankness, was able to tell him when she felt he needed to pull his socks up.
Her husband predeceased her in 2002. She is survived by their three sons and one daughter
Nancy-Joan Seligman, born January 29 1918, died September 10 2012

Detectives have been in contact with author Linda Corby – more than four decades after her first complaint – to take the details down again.
They also revealed her “enquiry” had now been handed over to Wiltshire Police , who are taking the lead in the investigation into the former Prime Minister.
She was told the police inquiry into Ted Heath had been given the code name; ‘Operation Conifer’, by the English force.
Earlier this year author, Linda Corby, told the Daily Mirror how she and another local politician, who has since died, made two statements to police in the 1970s.
Linda and the Jersey senator were just outside the yacht club in the 1970s as they watched 11 boys aged six to 11 from Jersey’s notorious Haut de la Garenne children’s home board the former PM’s yacht in the island’s capital St Helier.
When the yacht returned, they counted them back and one boy was missing.
The local politician asked Linda to back him up about what they had both witnessed and so they visited Jersey police HQ together to make their statements.
But nothing happened and she claims they were later told how police officers had been ordered not to investigate their concerns.
After her story appeared in the Daily Mirror she contacted Jersey police asking to see her statement but said she was told it could not be found.
Linda explained: “They phoned to tell me they couldn’t find my statement.I was not surprised at all – so much has gone missing over the years.
Linda later received an email saying her enquiry had been handed over.
“I couldn’t believe it when they told me the Wiltshire inquiry was called ‘Operation Conifer’ – how appropriate!” she said.
“ It’s named after the fastest growing tree ever and there are branches going missing all the time. It also shows the paperwork is going to be astronomical.”
The email Linda received last month from Jersey Police stated: “As I said on the phone to you Wiltshire Police are taking the lead on the Ted Heath enquiries and last month we delivered them the paperwork relating to your enquiry.
Previously describing what she saw in the early 1970s, Linda, 62, said: “I was with Jersey senator Ralph Vibert who has since died.
“He said he had been warned about children going on Heath’s yacht, Morning Cloud, and some not coming back.
“We watched as a group of boys from the home got on. They were in shorts and T-shirts and looked as if they were on a day trip.”
Author Linda claimed she later went with the senator to Bouley Bay to watch the yacht return.
She said: “We counted them back but one boy was missing.
This week Linda added: “I don’t know if there was anything in it or not but the fact is it should have been investigated. It is disgusting.”
The mum, from Jersey, insists a few days after they made their statements, officers told them “someone above” had told the officers not to investigate.
She said back then the police were controlled by the defence committee so they assumed it was them who told officers to leave it alone.
In 2008 a massive probe at Haut de la Garenne revealed many cases of child abuse against past residents.
Reports that human remains and evidence of torture had been found were later denied.
The ‘Independent Jersey Care Inquiry’ is investigating the abuse of children in it’s care system over many years.
Jersey Police confirmed they had contacted Linda and the information had now
been handed over to Wiltshire Police.
They could not confirm whether or not the statements had been found, as the officer was on annual leave but they pointed out their system had been computerised since the 70s.
Don Hale, a regional and national newspaper reporter who was made an OBE in 2001 for his investigative journalism, claims he was handed a document by former Labour Peer Barbara Castle in the 1980s naming a number of high-profile UK political figures as paedophiles.
But he alleges that after making initial inquiries, a team of Special Branch officers visited his home and seized the material – and warned him that reporting on the dossier could land him in jail.
Mr Hale says that in the document was a cutting from a magazine aimed at teenagers in which Sir Edward advertised ‘adventure trips with Uncle Ted’ around Jersey on board his yacht.
Seven police forces, including Jersey’s States police, are currently investigating claims of historical abuse against the former Conservative PM, who died in 2005 aged 89.
It emerged yesterday that Gloucestershire and Thames Valley were the latest forces to be looking into allegations.
Mr Hale – best known for his successful campaign to overturn the conviction of Stephen Downing, who spent 27 years in prison after wrongly being convicted of murder – said that the dossier was extensive.
The 63-year-old, who developed strong contacts with Baroness Castle, who died in 2002, when he was editor of the Bury Messenger and she was an MP for Blackburn, said: ‘We used to meet up every Friday.
‘She started talking to me about this paedophile ring and she gave me a document listing some names.
‘She kept bringing me more and more names on a list of alleged paedophiles.
‘Then one day she showed me a picture of Ted Heath.
‘She threw it down on my desk and said, do you know who this is? I said, of course I do. And she told me he was part of this paedophile ring.
‘He was just one name and he seemed to only play a small part.’
Mr Hale added: ‘One day Baroness Castle showed me a cutting about an adventure trip for boys in Jersey.
‘It was a quarter of a page, and I think it was in a Scouting magazine or a magazine aimed at boys.
‘She drew a red ring around the feature. It said something like, ”Join Uncle Ted on a trip of a lifetime”.
‘She said it was disgusting. On its own it wasn’t anything out of the ordinary. But with the other stuff she had showed me about Ted Heath, the inference was that he was using it to abuse boys.
‘She said the children were from care homes.’
Mr Hale, who also successfully campaigned for the release of Barry George – a serial criminal wrongly jailed for the murder of TV presenter Jill Dando – said that as the trips would have happened many years after
So why did it’s director Watts not resign his directorship of Exaro Holdings when he was sacked as ’employee’?
Did Watts breach the Companies Act? Did he tell the employment tribunal that he was STILL a director of it’s parent company?
As a sacked ’employee’ and STILL a director he had a clear conflict of interest. A conflict of interest that is part of the legal framework around directors’ responsibilities. It does not make sense that a sacked employee can remain a director.
ACTIVE director Mark Watts. Company in liquidation. Sacked as employee. Still a director.
Last month, Pendry announced that he would rejoin the Labour Party, saying his decision ‘was helped by the estimable old Labour Right-winger Tom Watson being elected as ballast, as deputy leader’.
The MP first began publicly campaigning about an ‘Establishment’ paedophile ring in 2012. At about the same time, Exaro began focusing heavily on stories about the same purported ring.
Ever since, Watson has made regular appearances in Exaro’s news reports. As a senior MP, his comments lend credibility to their reports. In turn, they help to promote Watson’s campaign.
Little wonder, perhaps, that in the past 18 months Watson has almost continually flagged Exaro stories on Twitter. His support is doubtless very helpful. In November, for example, Watson tweeted: ‘I’ve spent all week telling reporters to phone Exaro if they want to know what’s going on.’
This relationship does not please everyone, however. Peter McKelvie, a former child protection officer who once worked closely with the Labour MP, has severed ties because he regards Exaro as ‘a disgrace to journalism’.
McKelvie is also said to believe that Watson fails to adopt a sufficiently collegiate attitude to his campaign, an opinion shared by one MP who has previously collaborated with him on child protection issues.‘There have also been other times Tom has not pulled his weight, and I’m not just talking about the Janner letter,’ says the MP.
‘There was, for example, a debate in Parliament on historical child sex abuse last November. Everyone interested in the issue attended, apart from Tom. Perhaps he didn’t want to share the limelight.’
Tom Watson’s deputy leadership campaign was bankrolled by multi-millionaire former Monaco-based tax exile Max Mosley. Guido can reveal Mosley wrote Watson a cheque for £12,500 in August, also providing him with £27,554 worth of printing, a total of a cool £40,000. Mosley spent years avoiding tax in Monaco, returning to the UK in 2010 when he complained “I now have to pay tax here“. Don’t tell Jeremy Corbyn…
Watson’s campaign placed press regulation as his number one issue, putting Leveson front and centre of his website ahead of any other issue.
What was it about their shared Murdoch-phobia that convinced the German-themed spanking party enthusiast (Mosley) to open his chequebook?

Peter Ball abuse inquiry requests statement from Prince Charles

The Prince of Wales has been asked to give a witness statement to a public inquiry about a paedophile bishop who was jailed after abusing young men.
Peter Ball was sentenced to 32 months in 2015 for a string of offences between the 1970s and 1990s, and the handling of allegations against him is now being examined by the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse (IICSA).
At a hearing on Wednesday, counsel to the inquiry Fiona Scolding QC said that statements had been requested from the prince and his principal private secretary.
According to a transcript posted on the inquiry website, she said: “We have also requested a witness statement from both His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales and his principal private secretary.
“The Prince’s solicitors have indicated their client’s willingness to assist us and have raised a number of important issues for us to consider.
“This has led to lengthy and complex discussions and we are currently considering the latest points they have raised. We hope to be able to provide an update to core participants on this in the next couple of weeks.”
Charles had exchanged a series of letters with Ball, the former Bishop of Gloucester, whose diocese covers Highgrove, the prince’s country home.
A spokesman for the prince told the Daily Mail last year that the correspondence contained nothing of relevance to the clergyman’s offending.
Lawyer Richard Scorer from Slater and Gordon, who is representing complainants at the IICSA, said: “It is imperative that the inquiry leaves no stone unturned in its efforts to establish how Peter Ball was able to evade justice for two decades.
“If this means calling Prince Charles and other prominent establishment figures as witnesses then the inquiry should do so without fear or favour.”
The current furore over the unmasking of the late Jimmy Savile as a paedophile reminds me of two other once-revered figures who also ‘got away with it’ by dying before their misdemeanours came to light.
One was Sir Laurens van der Post (1906-96). Storyteller, J.D.F. Jones’s biography of this erstwhile guru, informs us that his numerous sexual liasons were conducted with little apparent regard for the feelings of the women concerned. More than once, it seems, an unwanted pregnancy was the signal for Laurens to decamp hurriedly and disappear. But the most startling episode of the kind occurred when, at the age of 43, he seduced and made pregnant a 14-year-old South African girl who had been placed in his care. This event, which would have ruined Laurens if it had become known in his lifetime, was not revealed until after his death.
Van der Post became good friends with Margaret Thatcher and especially with Prince Charles, whom he learned to speak with his flowers and who in 1982 made van der Post godfather to England’s heir to the throne. In the picture from Prince William´s baptism we can see van der Post standing behind the father, Prince Charles.
^1987 Dr Michael Salmon paedophile paediatrician with Princess Diana
1990 Dr Michael Salmon was first jailed and convicted of abusing children
2001 The Aurelian Legacy by Dr Michael Salmon
Convicted paedophile paediatrician Dr Michael Salmon wrote a book on butterflies which has an introduction by Prince Charles’ gardening partner, Miriam Rothschild.
She was the sister of Nathaniel Mayer Victor Rothschild, 3rd Baron Rothschild, who was a good friend of Edward Heath, Blunt, Burgess, worked for MI5 during World War II and alleged to have been the ‘fifth Spy’.
There was a picture from Jim’ll Fix It hanging on Salmon’s consulting room wall. The black and white photograph, shown to the jury, showed a young boy holding a microphone from when Salmon’s eldest son Martin had appeared on the popular television show alongside Irish horse racing commentator and friend of the royal family, Peter O’Sullivan.
FROM LECHERY TO LEPIDOPTERYPervert Michael Salmon, who was once praised by Princess Diana for his charity work with sick children, reinvented himself as a butterfly expert when he was released from prison after serving time for sexually abusing girls as young as 12 years.
The former doctor published The Aurelian Legacy in 2001, described as a ‘fascinating account of the men and women who have made valuable contributions to our knowledge of British butterflies’. Blurbs describe Salmon, now aged 80 years, as an ‘amateur lepidopterist’ with a ‘passion’ for butterflies, saying: “Although Michael Salmon trained and practised as a doctor and is the author of two medical textbooks, his passion from the age of eleven has been butterflies.”
On release from prison, Dr Salmon lived at Woodgreen in the New Forest area of Hampshire with his wife Susie, pursuing his interests in butterflies and photography.
More recently the couple set up home in Park Lane, Salisbury, before he was once more charged with sexually abusing youngsters. His wife has stood by him, supporting him each day in court during his five-week trial.
Salmon regularly began taking photographs of girl he abused for a book he told her he was compiling on her condition.
Both Sir Alfred Beit and Lady Beit, who was a cousin of the famous Mitford sisters, were at the heart of the British business, political and social establishment from the Thirties until their death.
Revealed: the secret Sir Alfred Beit diaries that may tell of British royal family scandals
Diaries believed to contain the inside story of British royal family scandals have been suppressed by the late Lady Clementine Beit to protect Queen Elizabeth II from embarrassment.
Do the diaries contain details of the royal family’s oft-cited links with the Nazi party in Germany before the war? Or is it something more personal, some sexual secrets of the royal family that Sir Alfred and Lady Beit want to keep hidden? Because of the “secret” clause in her will, we can now only guess.
As depicted in The Crown, Mounbatten is uncommonly close with Charles, taking him shopping for the Eton uniforms he never gets to wear, and urging him to open up emotionally.
Lord Mountbatten, known affectionately around the palace as the biggest queen in the royal family, had surrounded Charles with homosexuals during the period when he had been entrusted by Queen Elizabeth with her eldest son’s social upbringing.
Meanwhile, in New Zealand, there have been such newspaper headlines as, “‘Uncle Dickie’ the Sex Pervert” (N.Z. Truth, Sept. 8, 1987), since Mountbatten’s former chauffeur, Norman Nield, started revealing details of the late Lord Mountbatten’s alleged sexual exploitation of boys.
Paedophile Lord Louis Mountbatten
Edward Prince of Wales and his cousin Lord Louis Mountbatten “relax” in a canvas swimming pool on board H. M. S. Renown during their 1920 Empire Tour.
Lord Louis was a great grandson of Queen Victoria and the uncle of Prince Philip (consort of Queen Elizabeth II). Mountbatten was also a promiscuous bisexual who was famously rumored to have had an affair with Edward VIII (who was Prince of Wales at the time) when he accompanied him on his Empire tours (see photo above).
The Queen. Like any human being, she is subject to the influence of those around her. While he lived, Lord Mountbatten was a persuasive counsellor, and he formulated the plan for Prince Charles’s unusually rigorous education.
For some years allegations had circulated that the late Tory prime minister Edward Heath had been involved with the notorious Paedophile Information Exchange (PIE). Yesterday the IPCC (Independent Police Complaints Commission) announced that it would be investigating a possible cover-up by Wiltshire Police re complaints made against the former prime minster of sexual abuse. Today it was reported that a man alleged he was raped by Mr Heath when he was 12 years old. It is known as fact that Heath visited the Kincora Boys Home in Northern Ireland, the subject of ongoing investigation into child sex abuse (involving MI5, Ulster Unionist paramilitaries, etc). There was also the scandal involving a boys home on the Channel Islands – again a home that Heath regularly visited, together with Jimmy Savile, the entertainer who has been recognised as a serial paedophile offender. Now it has emerged that four separate police forces are investigating the allegations made against Heath: in addition to Wiltshire Constabulary, Kent Police (Operation Hydrant), Jersey Police (Operation Whistle) and the Metropolitan Police (Operation Midland) have each announced investigations.
Meanwhile, UndercoverInfo can confirm the name and serial number of the file regarding Mr Heath and his interest/queries re PIE and which was included in the infamous 114 ‘missing files’, believed to have been part of a dossier originally handed to the Home Office by Geoffrey Dickens and subsequently ‘lost’ by the Sir Leon Brittan, the former Home Secretary (and alleged paedophile).
Update: Hampshire Constabulary has announced it has opened a fifth line of inquiry (no further details at this stage).
A. The Heath file
The file that names Heath and his interest/queries re PIE is codenamed CRI 85 0472/0007/001 (see image below). There is no indication what the file on PIE covers; whether it is about questions, or whether it has evidence, or why it is associated with Mr Heath.
This file was eventually passed to the Government’s records office on 5 March 1990 and included in the ‘114 files’ that were either destroyed or went missing as part of what appears, in retrospect, to have been a concerted cover-up.
B. The cover-up
The ‘Westminster paedophile ring’ was first looked into as a result of a dossier presented by the late Labour cabinet minster (later, Social Democrat MEP), Baroness Barbara Castle. Ms. Castle said she had been given copies of classified documents from the Home Office, proving that there was a secret investigation underway into child sex abusers in Parliament. Castle apparently claimed that Heath was one of those implicated.
After Ms. Castle had collated the dossier, she handed it to Don Hale, the respected editor of her local newspaper, the Bury Messenger. Mr Hale later claimed that a “heavy mob” of Special Branch officers raided his office and confiscated the dossier a day after paedophile Liberal MP Cyril Smith had visited him to demand he bury the story. Labour MP Geoffrey Dickens then presented the Castle dossier (see ‘Appendix E’) to Sir Leon Brittan.
Some years later Leon Brittan claimed to have lost over 114 files that were alleged to have been about child sex abuse at Dolphin Square and Elm Guest House and PIE. (Brittan was named as an attendee at Elm Guest House by its late owner – Brittan’s Elm Guest House nickname was ‘Roger’.) These missing files were ‘disappeared’ or destroyed but may have been included in a larger list that were identified in a Government internal file that shows over 2000 files as being recorded ‘disappeared’ or missing.
However, a 23 page archived Government document includes details of all the 114 ‘missing’ files and lists the many MPs who raised questions about child sex abuse scandals.
Note: Scotland Yard is also reported to have handed to Leon Brittan a dossier naming 15 members of a notorious paedophile group. This file is still unaccounted for (it is not the same file given to Brittan by Geoffrey Dickens) – see here. It’s possible that this file is the same one labelled “Edward Heath… Re. PIE”.
Yesterday the IPCC issued a statement re Mr Heath. It said:
“This is an investigation into allegations that Wiltshire Police did not pursue a criminal prosecution when a person threatened to expose that Sir Edward Heath may have been involved in offences concerning children. In addition to this allegation, the IPCC will examine whether Wiltshire Police subsequently took any steps to investigate these claims. The allegations were referred to the IPCC by Wiltshire Police following allegations made by a retired senior officer.”
Superintendent Sean Memory of Wiltshire Police, who is leading the investigation for the force, later added: “The allegation is that a trial was due to take place in the 1990’s and information was received in that trial that Sir Ted Heath was involved in the abuse of children, and the allegation is from the result of that information that the trial never took place. A retired senior police officer has come forward towards the end of 2014 indicating that they were aware of this information. So between then and March this year, we have worked tirelessly to establish the facts of that allegation to a point where in March this year, we have made a mandatory referral to the Independent Police Complaints Commission, which is leading the investigation into whether we did in fact mishandle that case in the 1990’s.”
Jersey Police has also said that it was investigating Mr Heath. In a statement it said: “Sir Edward Heath does feature as part of ‘Operation Whistle’, currently investigating historical allegations of abuse in Jersey.” This follows the Jersey care inquiry, which had been looking into allegations of abuse in the island’s care homes, including the Haut de la Garenne children’s home.
Sir Edward Heath visited Haute de la Garenne many times and reportedly would take young boys sometimes supplied by Jimmy Savile (another regular visitor to the home) for trips with him on his yacht, ‘Morning Cloud’.
From September 2007, Jersey police took 1,776 statements from 192 alleged victims, identifying 151 alleged abusers relating to the home, though only seven people have been successfully prosecuted.
The police investigation also examined allegations that children were murdered. In the course of the investigation a total of 65 teeth and around 100 charred fragments of bones were discovered. Most of the dental remains discovered have been identified as children’s milk teeth. Among more than 100 bone fragments found is a tibia from a child’s leg and what police believe is an “intact” adenoid bone from the ear of an infant. These were all retrieved from a fingertip search of the four cellars in the Home’s east wing. Shackles were also found in what was believed to have been a torture chamber.
Kent Police said that it had also received, today, an allegation of sexual assault by Heath in the 1960’s.
According to Exaro, a sexually abused survivor, ‘Nick’, alleged that one of the perpetrators of abuse of which he was victim was the late Sir Edward Heath.
Sir Edward Heath WAS a paedophile, says police chief: Astonishing claim is made that the former PM is guilty of vile crimes ‘covered up by the Establishment’
More than 30 people have come forward with claims about the former PM
And they are said to have given ‘strikingly similar’ accounts to Wiltshire Police
The county’s chief constable has said that the allegations are ‘totally convincing’
Pictures have emerged of Heath driving – despite it being claimed he didn’t have a car
19 February 2017
The police chief investigating claims that Sir Edward Heath was a paedophile is convinced the allegations are ‘120 per cent’ genuine, The Mail on Sunday can reveal.
More than 30 people have come forward with claims of sexual abuse by the former Conservative Prime Minister, according to well-placed sources.
And they are said to have given ‘strikingly similar’ accounts of incidents to Wiltshire Police – even though the individuals are not known to each other.
The Mail on Sunday has been told that Wiltshire Chief Constable Mike Veale regards the allegations as ‘totally convincing’, and plans to publish a report in June.
Detectives have established that, contrary to claims that Sir Edward could not have committed the crimes as he ‘never drove a car’ and ‘always’ had a police driver with him, he did drive – and did have a car.
They have photographic evidence that shows he is a driver, and have established that he had a driving licence. He also bought a Rover 2000 after being deposed as Tory leader by Margaret Thatcher in 1975, when he was 58.
Astonishingly, Mr Veale is also understood to support claims that Sir Edward’s alleged crimes were reported to police years ago but covered up by the Establishment.
Some of those who said Sir Edward abused them are believed to have told police they went on to commit sexual abuse crimes themselves as a result.
The investigation into Sir Edward, called Operation Conifer, was set up in 2015 in the wake of the Jimmy Savile scandal.
Mr Veale came under pressure to abandon the inquiry last year after separate claims of a paedophile ring at Westminster involving former Home Secretary, the late Lord Brittan, and former Defence chief, Lord Bramall, were found to be groundless.
Allegations that Sir Edward was involved in satanic orgies have been dismissed as fantasy by an expert asked to review the case.
However, The Mail on Sunday has been told that Mr Veale believes the paedophile allegations are genuine. A source said: ‘Mr Veale believes in them 120 per cent and thinks they are totally convincing.
‘There are very close similarities in the accounts given by those who have come forward. The same names used for him, the same places and same type of incidents keep coming up.
‘What stands out is that the people giving these accounts are not connected but the stories and the details dovetail.
‘It contains disturbing stuff. Investigators have been shocked by what they have learned.’
Another source said: ‘The police were initially sceptical about the allegations, but now believe them. And they have come round to the view that they were covered up in the past because of who Heath was.
‘They will not be deflected by the rich and powerful trying to do the same now. Mike Veale is doing a great job and should be congratulated for his courage.’
The disclosures come after several senior politicians dismissed the allegations against Heath as absurd and unfounded. Former Tory Foreign Secretary Sir Malcolm Rifkind complained Heath’s reputation was being ‘besmirched’. Heath’s sexuality has been the source of much speculation over the years. Some believed he was gay, others said he was ‘asexual.’ At one point, he was being investigated by no fewer than five police forces – the Met, Wiltshire, Hampshire, Kent and Jersey.
Labour MP Tom Watson also said he had received allegations about Sir Edward. However the claims Mr Veale is investigating, which date from the 1960s to 1990s, are not linked to the discredited evidence of the man known as ‘Nick’, who alleged a high-level paedophile ring.
One of the key counter-claims made when the allegations first surfaced came from former Cabinet Secretary Lord Armstrong, who worked with Heath when he was Prime Minister. He said Heath ‘never drove a car’ and always had at least one policeman with him from 1970 until his death in 2005.
1950 to 1970 Ted Heath owned 4 cars. He clearly drove before he met Robert Armstrong. So why say he NEVER drove?
The fact that Sir Edward could drive was confirmed last night by a friend, who said the former Prime Minister bought a car in 1975, although Sir Edward was later given a chauffeur-driven car and police guard after IRA death threats.
Asked if Mr Veale believed the allegations against Sir Edward were ‘totally convincing’, a police spokesman said the Chief Constable was determined to ‘ensure the investigation is proportionate, measured and legal’ and that the job of the police was to ‘impartially investigate allegations without fear or favour and go where the evidence takes us. It is not the role of the police to judge the guilt or innocence of people in our criminal justice system.’
Further asked if Mr Veale had ‘120 per cent’ faith in the allegations, the spokesman declined to comment.
DO THESE PHOTOS UNDERMINE EX PM’S DEFENCE
Sir Edward Heath seen with his car in Weymouth, despite claims he never drove
These are the photographs that appear to disprove the notion that the allegations against Sir Edward cannot be true because he ‘never drove a car’ and was always accompanied by police.
Both were taken in October 1975. In the main picture on the right, Heath is standing by the driver’s door of the Rover 2000 he bought after Margaret Thatcher ousted him as Tory leader in February that year. In the picture on the left, he is seen arriving at the Tory Party conference in Blackpool – in the driver’s seat.
The Mail on Sunday has learned that Wiltshire Police has also obtained photographic evidence of him driving.
The issue was first raised by former Cabinet Secretary Lord Armstrong, who worked with Sir Edward in No 10. Lord Armstrong said Sir Edward – whom he described as ‘asexual’ – had a 24-hour police guard and driver from the day he became PM in 1970 to his death in 2005, and did not have his own car.
‘When he was at home he had two policemen on the gate, he had the personal protection officer from Scotland Yard in the house, he never drove a car himself, he always had an official driver,’ said Lord Armstrong. ‘It seems highly unlikely he could have escaped all that to do the kind of thing that is described.’
Sir Edward Heath again pictured driving, this time leaving leaves the conference for the sea breezes of Weymouth
Sir Edward bought the Rover after losing the chauffeur-driven car he was entitled to as Prime Minister, then Opposition leader.
A confidant of the former PM said: ‘He definitely could and did drive, though was a notoriously bad one. When he went to music concerts in Salzburg and hired a car, he was meant to drive it because his British police guards weren’t officially allowed to.
‘But they insisted as they were frightened he was going to crash.’

Senior civil servant in Thatcher government accused of ‘shocking’ attitude
Ex-Cabinet Secretary Lord Armstrong defended apparent abuse cover-up
Was warned by security services in 1986 that MP had ‘a penchant for boys’
Said he believed decision not to investigate claims was ‘correct at the tim
It has been revealed that he was urged by MI5 to help hush-up abuse allegations against a senior MP so as to avoid political embarrassment for the Thatcher government.
A document from November 1986 shows that Sir Antony Duff, then director-general of MI5, wrote to Armstrong about inquiries into one MP said to have ‘a penchant for small boys’.
Even today, despite years of official investigations into the claims and a top-level review into the loss of hundreds of Home Office files relating to the original allegations, Armstrong defiantly refuses to identify the suspect politician or even say if he is alive or dead. Can he really still believe that it is acceptable to be ‘economical with the truth’?
His attitude reflects an arrogant mindset that has for too long prevailed in Westminster and Whitehall.
The newly-unearthed files expose how protection of the Establishment took priority over the need to prosecute anyone suspected of paedophilia and over the safety of vulnerable young children.
In a letter to Armstrong about the suspected MP, Sir Antony warned that secrecy must prevail. ‘At the present stage…the risks of political embarrassment to the Government is rather greater than the security danger,’ he wrote.
In other words, if the rumours of a sex-ring were true and children had been abused, the welfare of the child must be subjugated to the national interest.
At the time, in 1986, there was little public discussion about the rumours. Whistleblowers were silenced, files mysteriously vanished and evidence which might have nailed the culprits was ignored.
Niven Sinclair, serial child abuser, appears to have died recently.
I first heard that it had been announced on the Clan Sinclair chatline that Niven Sinclair has died. [See comments on my post Niven Sinclair – Three times convicted Child Rapist worked for the BBC for 30 years ]
I have also been sent a link to a Priory of Sion webpage, which has an obituary of sorts, and headed by this notice
None of this of course officially confirms his death, but it appears probable.
@mwalkerdine has sent the following information and advice.
“NIVEN JAMES SINCLAIR AGED 93 of 58 PETWORTH ROAD, HASLEMERE GU27 3AU
If and when someone person dies you normally get buried within weeks unless inquest is done. If inquest is not done then a death certificate would be issued to the family or friends within days after buried etc.
For official confirmation it depends where he died. I contacted Surrey BirthsMarriagesDeaths. So far they don’t have a system in place that tells them who is dead. General Register Office has told me that their database has a 6 months gap from when councils provide the details of people getting born, married or died to be entered on their database.”

Since I wrote the original Niven Sinclair post almost exactly a year ago, I have been informed by multiple sources that Niven abused young boys whilst working for the BBC, including Panorama. This was obviously suspected, as he was a 3 times convicted multiple child rapist before joining the BBC, but has now been confirmed.
Niven Sinclair was also investigated by Operation Yewtree, which had I not previously realised.
As this is the case, it is almost inconceivable that the BBC did not know that fact. That raises even more questions about the BBC’s conduct – not only about when the abuse was being committed but also recently when they have been less than open about child sexual abuse at the BBC.
I also feel that they were less honest than they should have been in their answers to my Freedom of Information request .
For example “We are not aware of any complaint having been made to the BBC about him.”
Maybe but the BBC were surely aware of Operation Yewtree investigating Niven Sinclair, and therefore of abusing whilst working for the BBC. So this BBC comment appears designed to obfuscate and mislead.
Bizarrely, unprecedented in my experience of making FOI requests, the reply also included a statement of BBC spin that they wanted me to put into any story I wrote, – and this in a reply to a FOI request!
Just so that people can judge for themselves the BBC statement that the Ministry of Propaganda and Cover-up of Child Abuse wanted me to publish, I have placed it in Appendix 1. It is of the “all in the past, nothing to see now” variety.
All very shifty, BBC. Shifty. You are still not coming clean.
Furthermore there has been much publicity about Dave Smith, described as Savile’s chauffeur eg Jimmy Savile chauffeur Dave Smith was ‘prolific paedophile’ with 22 convictions Telegraph
In fact my information is that Smith was not Jimmy Savile’s official chauffeur, as Smith actually worked for breakfast television when Frank Bough, Selina Scott and Debbie Greenwood presented it. They incidentally all knew him by name and were all on good terms with him.
I wrote, as conjecture in my last article on Niven –
Which company did Dave Smith, Jimmy Savile’s chauffeur work for? Did he work for Sinclair’s company, or were there two chauffeur companies used by the BBC that had child abusers?
I can reveal that Dave Smith did work for Niven, for 14 years. Even when he lost his driving licence he was kept on by Niven to work in the office.
So the BBC employed, to chauffeur their employees, clients and guests, Niven Sinclair’s company which was run by and also employed a convicted child rapist.
It is not a valid excuse for the BBC that Niven ran his own company.
The BBC must have had many contracts with the 3 times convicted child rapist. The BBC must publish them.
How did Niven Sinclair get a job with the BBC straight out of jail?
Who got him the job?
Why were checks not done? or why or were checks done and no abuse was found? or did checks find abuse but still Niven was still employed?
Were MI5 involved in vetting?
I wrote this in bold in my last article on Niven, the second part in bold is even more relevant now.
“If Niven Sinclair has not been identified as a convicted serial child rapist, or has been identified but that fact hidden from the public, the BBC has STILL not learnt the lessons. We still do not understand what went wrong in the BBC.”
This also raises questions about the Janet Smith review. Smith addressed the culture of the BBC at the time of Savile’s offending and she looked into various news articles yet she did not follow up on Dave Smith – a 22 times convicted child abusing chauffeur in a BBC employed company.
Why did she not follow up on Niven Sinclair either? She must have known he was the subject of an Operation Yewtree investigation, and with basic research would have found out he was a 3 times convicted multiple child rapist who had worked for the BBC for 30 years surely worthy of mention in her Review. Did she do that research?
Janet Smith said “I have found no evidence that any one BBC employee above producer level could stand accused of complicity in Savile’s crimes in connection with his work at the BBC” . She cleared the broadcaster as a corporate body of knowing about it. She found “no evidence that a senior BBC employee was complicit in Savile’s crimes”
I am not so sure. I think there is a great deal more to come out about abuse at the BBC.
I do not know at present what evidence she needed for a “corporate body to know about Savile’s crimes”, nor which positions are considered “above producer level”, nor what Smith might define as “complicity”. I suggest that senior positions may have been let off lightly so far.
If anyone does have more information on Niven or the BBC, please write in comments below, anonymously if you wish or to me in confidence at email@example.com

David Ainsworth, Wiltshire Police Deputy Chief Constable, was found hanged Mar 22 2011
He had previously served for 22 years with Kent Police, where he rose to assistant chief constable and was the Association of Chief Police Officers’ spokesman on vehicle crime before moving to Wiltshire in 2008.
In 2002 he headed a police task force for the Home Secretary on reducing bureaucracy.
Brian Moore, chief constable of Wiltshire Police, called in South Wales Police to investigate Mr Ainsworth’s conduct.
In June 1995 Heath’s private office, headed at that time by (alleged paedophile) Nicholas Edgar, was set the task of organising three days of lavish celebrations for our visitors at the most prestigious London venues.
Jan 1984 R v O’Dowd: Boy George’s uncle alleges photos of Heath with children exist & Cecil Parkinson attends the court case
From Sept 2014 Two ‘interesting’ allegations – Edward Heath: The Paedophile Prime Minister.
“the producer told me that years before when he was an assistant editor in a cutting room in Wardour Street he used to get his holiday photos developed at a shop in Wardour Street and one day the shop was raided by the police because the owner was dealing in pornography or at least that was the presumed reason. During the raid, a distribution list was discovered which had Ted Heath’s name on it also Patrick Moore’s and it was for “kiddie porn” as it was termed in those days. I do not know how he got this information about the list but apparently “everyone in Wardour Street” knew about it.”
It reminded me of a very strange court case involving Boy George’s uncle Kenneth O’Dowd in 1984 who alleged that he had compromising photographs of Edward Heath . The news reports do not describe what the photographs that included Ted Heath depicted however he says that his former mistress “appeared in pornographic photographs together with his two children”
According to The Glasgow Herald, O’Dowd produced a photocopied photograph of Edward Heath but it was “dismissed in court as a forgery”.
If you thought that was all very curious then I’m sure you’ll be intrigued about why Cecil Parkinson should take enough interest in this case to attend and observe part of the trial himself, as was John Stapleton and Nick Owen were…Intrigued
Below are two stories about the trial from The Times.
January 19th 1984
A woman denied at the Central Criminal Court yesterday that she had appeared in pornographic photographs with Mr Edward Heath, the former Prime Minister. The woman, a mother of three children, whose former boy friend has pleaded not guilty to raping and assaulting her, said she had never met Mr Heath, or been photographed in indecent positions with men or children. The man has asserted that the charges against him have been fabricated by the woman and the police. “He says they wish to muzzle his evidence to bring to book certain persons, including the woman, who he says appeared in pornographic photographs together with his two children”, the court has been told by Mr Stephen Mitchell, for the prosecution. The defendant had claimed he found photographs showing a man he recognized as Edward Heath and another man he has named as a Det Sgt Wallace. Mr Heath has denied being in the alleged photographs. The woman said in evidence yesterday that, although the defendant had taken some pictures of her undressed, they were of her alone. She said she had never been photographed with det Sgt Wallace or had sexual intercourse with him. Cross-examined by the defendant, she denied ever seeing a briefcase in her home with the initials “E.A.H.” on it. She also denied his allegation that she had been part of a prostitution ring. The trial was adjourned until today.
January 18th 1984
An accused man’s claim that he was framed by the authorities because he had discovered pornographic photographs of his lover, naked, In poses with Mr Edward Heath, the former Prime Minister, and a detective sergeant, were “wild and totally unfounded” the prosecution maintained at the Central Criminal Court yesterday. Mr Stephen Mlitchell, for the Crown, told a jury of seven women and five men that the allegations of the existence of such photographs had been made last October at the man’s first trial which was halted after three weeks and a new trial ordered. The defendant, aged 37, has pleaded not guilty to charges of raping and assaulting his former mistress, aged 32, a mother of three daughters. The defendant claimed he had discovered five colour photographs in the jewel box of the woman with whom he lived at their flat in 1976, while they were living at Woolwich, south east London. Their young daughters were looking on allegedly as the woman posed on her bed. Mr Heath was said to have been in two of the photographs, and the detective Sergeant, Brian Wallace, in three of them. But, Mr Mitchell said, no such photographs existed, although the jury would probably spent a great deal of time listening to comments about them. The defendant also claimed that he had found a black briefcase, bearing an MP’s initials, in a cupboard at his former lover’s flat. Some photographs did exist, Mr Mitchell said. The woman remembered that she had once posed nude and semi-nude. But the existence of “the odd dirty photo” whould not have any great influence on the case, he said. The man was accused of threatening his former lover with a knife and a hammer after breaking into her home in September 1982, and raping and assaulting her.
The CPS said Janner would have been charged with many sex offences against nine children
Daniel Janner, son of alleged paedophile Greville Janner
Of all the barristers in Britain, who was court appointed cross-examiner in O’Dowd rape trial?
R v Kevin O’Dowd. Daniel was court appointed cross-examiner in rape trial.
High profile cases include: The Heysel Stadium football extraditions; The Knightsbridge Safety Deposit box robbery; Oyston and Martin rape trials; French student murder trial; “Happy slap” murder trial; London City Bond fraud trial; Gouldbourne Cayman Islands murder; McGrath money laundering; Cleeve Prior missing body murder; Lord of Fraud, Rodley trials.
(The daily fail is clearly smearing the allegations …”farce”, “far-fetched”, “incredible” “bizarre” etc)
Group of women who say they were abused by Sir Edward Heath also claim their parents ran a satanic sex cult that was involved in SIXTEEN child murders
Feb 20 2017
They claim their mother and father – knew the former Conservative leader.
They allege that the politician was part of a satanic sex cult run by their own parents.
The women’s claims were dismissed by police in 1989 when they came forward. Sir Edward’s name was never mentioned to police at the time. It was only last year that he was named for the first time after one of the claimants said she had ‘remembered’ a man called ‘Ed’ was a prime mover in a network of paedophile abusers.
“They say that the cult regularly slaughtered children as ritual sacrifices in churches and forests around southern England (Wiltshire is considered part of Southern England) and also participated in similar ceremonies in Africa.”

Revealed: Ex-chief constable who says Cyril Smith cover-up went right to the top
Retired police chief reveals there was a ‘cover-up’ of Cyril Smith’s crimes
Former head of Lancashire Police, Albert Laugharne, says it was ordered by a top official
Albert Laugharne is highest ranking ex-officer to give details of a cover-up
Claims follow revelations on how Smith’s powerful friends hid his abuse
A retired chief constable has revealed that a ‘sinister cover-up’ of the crimes of paedophile MP Cyril Smith was ordered by a top official working for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
Albert Laugharne, former Chief Constable of Lancashire Police, said that in the 1970s he was asked to lie about the politician’s alleged sexual abuse of a boy.
This newspaper has been told that a surveillance squad targeting a paedophile ring providing rent boys for orgies photographed Leon Brittan entering premises where the parties were believed to have been held on at least two occasions. At the time he was a minister in the Home Office.
A planned raid was called off at the last moment, allegedly on orders from senior Met command. Photographs and papers that could have been used as evidence then went missing, one officer who was part of the surveillance team has alleged.

…told to hand over all evidence they had gathered on Smith — including notebooks and incriminating video film — and to say nothing more of the affair.
If they did speak out they might be prosecuted under the Official Secrets Act.
Mr Laugharne was given, he says, a clear indication that Smith enjoyed special privileges as a predatory paedophile VIP.
Sir Tony Hetherington, the DPP at the time that the then Lancashire police chief Albert Laugharne was told by his office to shut up about Smith.
Sir Tony Hetherington, the DPP is dead, Cyril Smith andLeon Brittan are dead, as is Willie Whitelaw who had, while Home Secretary in 1980, allegedly blocked a police investigation into a Westminster paedophile ring.
However, former Met boss Sir David McNee is still with us.
Smith had been investigated by Lancashire police at least four times by then, going back to the Sixties. The investigations were all halted.
Cyril SMITH reviewed on charges 1998 and 1999 when 2 more allegations were submitted – went to same reviewing lawyer who again decided not to proceed – even tho in 1998 he had also said that a conviction would prob have been obtained against smith.

Lord David Steel (left) put Rochdale MP Cyril Smith (right) … for a knighthood, despite being told of abuse allegations against him.
The politician, now Lord Steel, was made aware of the reports that Smith had sexually abused young boys in his hometown of Rochdale, Lancashire, in 1979.
But dismissed the allegations – claiming: ‘All he seems to have done is spanked a few bare bottoms’.
25-year- old inquiry is reopened after NOW investigation
Two of Britain’s most evil paedophiles are to be quizzed over the sex murder of schoolgirl Lesley Molseed 25 years ago-after new evidence was uncovered by the News of the World.
The 11-year-old-known as Little Miss Chatterbox was appallingly assaulted, knifed to death and left on moors. The News of the World has now linked the horror to pink-haired Michael Horgan, Raymond Hewlett and a third man we are not naming.
A hardened detective, who keeps a photo of Lesley on his desk, has opened 148 new lines of inquiry into her murder as a result of our dossier. Det Chief Supt Max McLean glanced at the picture and said:
“I’ve been looking at it for some time. This is a case that stirs you to want to do your best. Your dossier’s been extremely helpful.”
Lesley, who had a heart defect, was killed in October 1975 while on an errand for her mum. She was sexually assaulted, knifed 12 times and dumped near her home town of Rochdale, Lancs. Educationally subnormal Stefan Kiszko was found guilty of the murder, but freed after 16 years when DNA evidence cleared him.
Our dossier indicates that satanic child-sex abuser Horgan-now 52 and with a Mohican hairstyle-‘groomed’ Lesley leading up to her death. On the afternoon of her disappearance, loner Horgan – now at a hostel in London’s Elephant and Castle-was spotted luring her away from the shops with a bag of sweets. Later that day he was seen with the distraught child clawing to get out of a car.
Early the next day he and the man we are not naming spent two hours meticulously scrubbing a blue van. We also discovered Lesley’s body was found five miles from a house where Horgan and other paedophiles subjected children to satanic abuse. He was a close friend of serial child sex offender Hewlett, at the time of the murder.
We have tapes of meetings we set up between Horgan and his ex-wife Eileen, 63.
She quizzes him about Lesley. He replies:
“You’re putting me in a coffin.”
Horgan’s stepdaughter, a schoolpal of Lesley, vividly recalls Horgan bringing the 11-year-old back to their home. The 33-year-old stepdaughter said:
“My stepdad said, ‘Do you want some sweets?’ Lesley said, ‘Yeah’.”
Eileen recalls seeing Horgan leading Lesley away from a nearby sweetshop.
Horgan was convicted in 1992 of hanging children from hooks and sexually abusing them in satanic rituals.
Raymond Hewlett was living just an hour’s drive from where the Maddy McCann disappeared in the Algarve in May 2007 while she was on holiday with her parents
Hewlett has a string of convictions for abducting and raping young girls and has served long stretches in jail.
Raymond Hewlettwas considered to be the prime suspect in disappearance of Madeleine McCann. Questions have been raised regarding the McCann photofit of alleged abductor, bearing a remarkable resemblance to Hewlett as he appeared years younger than he was at the time of Madeleine’s disappearance.
Det Chief Supt Max McLean traveled to Germany to interview Hewlett prior to Hewlett’s death in German hospital.
July 2011 Questions are being raised regarding the earliest examples of the News of the World hacking phones. Was this article based on illegally obtained information?
Why did the News of the World provide details regarding Raymond Hewlett and Michael Horgan and yet protect the identity of the third man they suspect was involved in the Lesley Molseed murder?
Myra Hindley exposed as a ‘practicing WITCH’ whose occult links lead to Jimmy Savile
30th July 2017
MOORS murderer Myra Hindley has been accused of being a practicing witch who worshipped the occult alongside Ian Brady while the duo carried out their evil crimes.
At Ian Brady’s side, monstrous Hindley was responsible for the murder and torture of at least five children in the 1960s.But now it has emerged that the evil pair were versed in the occult, and took their child victims to Saddleworth Moor to carry out sadistic rituals.Hindley has been accused of taking on the look of the witch while Brady behaved as the alchemist, according to Moors murder expert Erica Gregory.Speaking exclusively to Daily Star Online, she said: “Myra was given a high status by Brady from the start.“This was his way of manipulating her into doing exactly what he wanted.“Myra took the role of the persecuted women in history while Brady was taking on the role of alchemist – they even found books on witchcraft in their house when police arrested them.“We have found evidence they were doing rituals on the Moors – we’ve seen knotted ropes, hare and sheep bones with evidence of large fires lit up around oak trees.”
Gregory even believes that the the murders were meticulously planned for ritualistic purposes – with the evil duo choosing to kill their victims on dates important within the occult calendar.“The murders were separated by four months – I believe Brady chose dates and times for his rituals,” she said.“Tommy Rhattigan, for example, was taken in November 1963 – the same day Margaret Murray died – who was a famous witch.“I believe her death, and the fact it was the anniversary of the Battle of Sheriffmuir was a trigger for Tommy to be picked up.”
It is no secret that witchcraft and satanic worshipping were big in the 1960s – with several high-profile Hollywood films airing in the era.And the Moors murderers even had links to infamous Alex Sanders – who rose to notoriety for attempting to raise a dead body in Alderley Edge and was a known friend of Jimmy Savile.“Brady and Hindley sought out Sanders when he worked at the John Rylands Library in Manchester which held books on occultism.“Sanders went on to work on films with Sharon Tate and he was friends with Savile, too – so there’s a clear link.”This comes after Daily Star Online exclusively revealed that Brady was accused of selling child pornography to the shamed former DJ.Hindley and Brady were given life sentences in 1966.Together, they killed Pauline Reade, John Kilbride, Keith Bennett, Lesley Ann Downey and Edward Evans between July 1963 and October 1965.At least four of them, including Bennett, were sexually assaulted. It comes after Daily Star Online exclusively revealed Ian Brady’s evil map that could cryptically lead to the location of Keith Bennett’s body – which has never been found.
Erica Gregory – who has devoted years of her life investigating the Moors murders – believes they even formed a twisted “paedophile ring”.
she said: “I believe they went to the BBC studio regularly to make a fuss and try to get in with Savile.
“Alongside David Smith, Brady was selling photographs of children to make money at this time – I believe Savile could have been one of his customers.
“It is well known that Savile visited them both inside. I believe they were in a ring of some sort.”
It doesn’t stop there, though.
In 2014, Dan Davies noted that Savile chillingly replied “I am the Myra Hindley story” when asked on his opinion of it.And Gregory believes that Savile continued to communicate with the killers after their incarceration – visiting them and using songs played on the radio to transmit coded messages.“Savile could have been using his radio for secret messages,” she said.“Brady used music in tapes and songs that he stated reminded him of the Moors.“And Savile knew that if he played a song at a certain time then those listening would get the message.”http://www.dailystar.co.uk/news/latest-news/624549/Moors-murders-Jimmy-Savile-Ian-Brady-Myra-Hindley-paedophile-child-killers-Saddleworth-BBCDavid Smith allegedly and conveniently committed suicide:

Lord Lexden, who proposed the debate, calls ‘Nick’, the man who made allegations in relation to Dolphin Square a “fantasist”, and the subsequent police investigation looking into the matter, “ludicrous”.
He minimises current child abuse allegations about Bishop George Bell by suggesting that a book written in his honour and Lord Lexden’s own involvement with Bell as a member of the George Bell Support Group to clear his name somehow confirm Bell’s innocence – and at the same time criticises the lack of due process in abuse investigations.
Lexden then suggests that the media should not be allowed to report on cases, alluding to allegations involving the church. (Like Butler-Sloss?)

Was owner of paedophile palace who kept list of secret VIP vistors murdered?
11 NOV 2017
The Elm Guest House owner was found dead in 1990 but newly released files have led people to question if she committed suicide, and a call for a fresh inquest
The discovery of files that police said were destroyed has cast fresh doubts on the suicide verdict at the heart of the Westminster VIP paedo scandal.
Campaigners are demanding a review of the coroner’s verdict into the death of Carole Kasir and a new inquest.
Mrs Kasir ran the notorious paedophile brothel Elm Guest House in South West London. She may have kept a dossier of the perverted visitors’ names and photos from the early 80s.
The newly found files reveal her GP’s surprise at her apparent suicide. They also say syringes and vials found next to her body had not been analysed.
One source believes a fresh probe may expose a cover-up and reveal that Mrs Kasir, 47, who was found dead in her bed in 1990, had been murdered.
The Kasir files were released to campaigners under freedom of information rules after London’s Met Police said they had been destroyed.
Andrew Bridgen, Tory MP for North West Leicestershire, is among those calling for another inquest.
He said: “There is a case for a fresh investigation into the anomalies raised by these documents. One is that her GP questioned whether she had committed suicide but there are also other anomalies.”
Among the prominent people said to have visited the guest house and engaged in sex – some with consenting adults and some with children – were a government minister, a high-ranking policeman, a member of the Royal Household, an MI5 officer, traitor Anthony Blunt and Sir Peter Morrison, the Parliamentary Private Secretary to Margaret Thatcher.
A police investigation in 2015 failed to prove claims Mrs Kasir had kept a list and picture of the visitors.
A source close to the original investigation said: “If there’s a fresh look at Carole’s death and a full investigation into what exactly was going on at the time then there’s a good chance these things could turn up. If that happens it will blow the lid off any cover-up and it could reveal that she was murdered.
“I don’t think there’s any doubt this place is at the centre of things. The fact these files were found after the Met said they didn’t exist shows there is information out there that we could get.”
The papers show diabetic Mrs Kasir, convicted in 1983 for possessing obscene videos and keeping a disorderly house, tried to kill herself previously and she was found with an overdose of insulin.
Pathologist Richard Shepherd said her death was “not due to natural causes” noting her profound low blood sugar consistent with excessive injected insulin. One abnormality raised in the files is a decision by the poison unit at New Cross Hospital in London not to analyse the syringes and vials found next to her body to see if they were connected to her death or to check her stomach contents. Experts say this should have been normal practice in a toxicology report.
Colin Peters, a Foreign Office barrister, was also named as an alleged Elm House regular. Notorious paedophile Sidney Cooke was linked to providing boys for VIP sex parties in London.
Elm House itself was said to be home to a sauna and a video suite where sick films could be made. A man who said he was taken there as a child claimed he was plied with drink and made to wear a fairy costume while abusers chased him.
The files even raise a question mark about Mrs Kasir’s home country. The official report says she was born in Germany as Carole Weitzman, based on evidence given to the inquest by her estranged husband Haroon Kasir.
But a close family member says she was born in London and may have had the surname Jones. A campaigner said: “The fact that there are question marks over the basics makes you wonder what else went wrong. The whole thing needs re-examining.”
Deputy Labour leader Tom Watson was told by the Metropolitan Police that all the documents relating to the inquest had been destroyed.
Now it has emerged that information is untrue. Hammersmith coroner’s court, which held the inquest has released redacted accounts of the coroner’s notes, seen by the Sunday People. Evidence given by David Walker, who was a GP from the practice where Mrs Kasir had been a patient for 14 years, cast doubt on whether she had killed herself.
The evidence said she had attempted suicide in 1982, when the guest house was raided, been hospitalised after an overdose in 1984 and had a drinking problem in 1989 and was a heavy smoker.
But he said: “When there are marital difficulties you see the patient in a depressed light. Sometimes she was cheerful and friendly. I would not expect her to commit suicide.”
The postmortem report and the poisons unit report both show she had no alcohol in her body at the time of

Elm Guest House first came to public attention after MP Tom Watson raised questions in the House of Commons about a historic Westminster paedophile ring.
The house in Barnes, South West London, was said to have been used for child sexual abuse by VIP paedos in the 1980s. A 1982 leaflet published by the Conservative Group for Homosexual Equality said: “The facilities include a sauna, solarium and video studio.”
Just weeks later the guest house was raided by police. Carole and Haroon Kasir were convicted at the Old Bailey of running a brothel.
Visitors were said to have included the late Lib Dem MP and paedophile Cyril Smith.
Elm and the nearby former Grafton Close children’s home, run by Richmond Council, were subject to a police investigation, Operation Fernbridge, which led to the arrest and jailing of a Roman Catholic priest,Tony McSweeney, for three years in 2015.
John Stingmore, the former manager of the children’s home, was also arrested and charged and as the coroner’s papers show, was convicted as a paedophile after he left Richmond Council. Stingmore died just before he was due to face trial so one of the charges related to bringing a boy to Elm Guest House was never tested in court.
McSweeney’s offences did not involve the guest house.
In early 1983 Mrs Kasir was convicted with her husband Haroon Kasir of running a disorderly house.
Although the identities of many of the VIP visitors has been a source of speculation, police confirmed to a Channel 4 Dispatches programme that Smith – whose paedophile activities at Rochdale are currently being examined by the independent child sex abuse inquiry – did visit the guest house. The inquiry was also told that MI5 lied about knowledge they had he was a paedophile.
And why are so many of these depraved beings connected to Yorkshire? I dunno about you but I’m getting a bit sick and tired of being mugged off with barefaced lies.
Anyway, it appears the gauntlet has been thrown down to Proctor – take Nick to court and Nick will be supported and backed by those sold to Proctor as young ‘rent boys’. I hope Nick gets that message & knows he’s not alone.

‘The Tory MP, rent boys and a sex dungeon in west Hull’ – Memories of Harvey Proctor Hull Daily Mail 13-03-15
Could someone please give me a valid reason why the owner of an agency that procured young vulnerable boys off the streets and sent them out to work as “rent boys”, was at a Tory cocktail party in 1983? Did @InquiryCSA question it? I’ve asked before but have never had an answer.
So one of the “rent boys” in the Harvey Proctor case was actually picked up by Harv’s boyfriend, Terry Woods, and then handed over to Harv, who took him back to his flat for six weeks. That’s thoughtful innit?
The insurance company Royal and Sun Alliance Insurance Group spent £750,000 pounds in legal fees to prevent paying out £200,000 to the victims of the abuse despite knowing that the claims were true:
The State placed the children in Bryn Alyn Community childrens homes and paid for the children to be abused by Allen and Staff and VIP paedophiles.
Since then the State, the Courts and all the people involved have made the children suffer further abuse and relive their childhood abuse over and over again whilst giving them nothing but grief in return.
What is so bizarre about Neil and Christine Hamilton meeting the imprisoned nonce Jonathan King? King is close to Barbara Hewson, whose right-wing criminal cousin Jonathan Denby was friends with the Hamiltons and their shirt-shop friend Harvey Proctor! Why the surprise?
Is it a coincidence that Peter Morrison’s constituency was surrounded by Neil Hamilton’s Tatton and (if he had won) by the paedophile Patrick Rock (Crewe/Nantwich) at the height of the Puddington Paedophile’s abuse?

At 50, she proclaimed she was a virgin admitting to just one chaste romance back in the 1970s, with fellow Oxford student Colin Maltby. Then she described television and sex as the two things in life she did very nicely without.
It’s striking how often she feels the need to emphasise that this is her choice, that she has never felt anything less than fulfilled. Instinct tells you that such prickliness isn’t only a response to snide Daily Mail journalists; the spikes surely protect a complicated place that a less gauche and more emotionally able woman might just have been willing to visit.

Roddy Llewellyn goes swimming whilst on holiday with Princess
Margaret in Mustique in 1976Tennant borrowed Llewellyn’s camera and took a snap of the Princess with the stark-naked Llewellyn and Courtney on either side of her, the skirts of her swimming costume obscuring their private parts. In turn, the Princess took photographs of the three naked men performing comical poses together.
Nicky Haslam also had an affair with Roddy Llewellyn, who later became her lover (and, but for the fact that he was almost 18 years her junior, might even have become her second husband). In fact, Nicky and Roddy lived together for a year in a basement flat in Fulham, parted only by a lovers’ quarrel.
A sinister phone caller said that if we continued with our “campaign” against the kinky MP he would reveal compromising details of an alleged relationship between Mr Maxwell’s daughter Ghislaine and the son of a Duke. The anonymous male caller, who tried to get through to Mr Maxwell, told his receptionist:
“I will produce a story about Ghislaine and Lord Granby at Belvoir castle with incriminating pictures of them in compromising positions.”
Coincidentally, Harvey Proctor is now employed as Private Secretary to the Duke of Rutland at Belvoir castle.
“With the assistance of Maxwell, Epstein was able to sexually abuse Giuffre for years until Giuffre eventually escaped,” the lawsuit says. “As part of their sex trafficking efforts, Epstein and Maxwell intimidated Giuffre into remaining silent about what had happened to her.”
It was while working for Epstein, Roberts claimed, that she had sex with Prince Andrew. She also said she took part in an orgy that the Prince attended on the financier’s private Caribbean island. (The royal has strongly denied all her claims.)
Jeffrey Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell (top) and Virginia Roberts Giuffre (bottom)
The defamation trial against Epstein’s friend Ghislaine Maxwell was set to start Monday — more than a decade after the billionaire was first arrested for soliciting underage girls — but it has been postponed because lawyers are close to negotiating a settlement, sources say.
Virginia Roberts Giuffre is suing Maxwell, whose late father owned the Daily News, in Manhattan federal court because Maxwell called her a liar.
Giuffre — who was 15 and working as a towel girl at Mar-a-Lago when Maxwell met her — claims Epstein turned her into a slave and forced her to have sex with his friends, including Prince Andrew, Duke of York, who denied her allegations.
Since Epstein was also friends with Bill Clinton, and was defended by Alan Dershowitz, their names were dragged into the case, too. But sources say they were never going to be called as witnesses.
Now, in a big disappointment to journalists, anti-sex-trafficking activists and Clinton haters, there may be no trial.
“After 11 years and much high drama, [Giuffre’s lawyer] David Boies asked his client to settle the case,” one insider told me.
Giuffre has already collected a settlement from Epstein and sold her story to the UK’s Daily Mail, but her testimony was hotly anticipated.
The blonde was expected to tell in sordid detail how Maxwell routinely recruited young girls and taught them how to give erotic massages that led to sex and prostitution.
If they don’t settle, the trial is now set for May 25.
Staley was lobbied into his position by elite paedophile pimp Jeffrey Epstein.
UK’s Treasury Select Committee told the Daily Mail it would quiz Staley.
Parliament’s response to FOIA confirms Staley’s appointment was never challenged.
Staley threatened to have gold rigging lawsuit quashed against his bank.
Police files show Judicial Internal Affairs boss Paul Kernaghan, tasked with investigating corrupt judges involved in Barclays gold rigging cover up, was a named suspect in RAINS list, that identified Ted Heath’s and Cyril Smith’s paedophilia five years before it became mainstream news.
Former Lord Chief Justice, Baron Thomas, and former Lord Chancellor Elizabeth Truss MP, covered up a judicial paedophilia normalization programme, and allowed Kernaghan to keep his post while he was under investigation for his role in child abuse rings.
The current Lord Chief Justice, Sir Ian Burnett, appears to have nullified the gold rigging lawsuit within 24 hours of Baron Thomas being notified of Deutsche Bank’s involvement in its £65 billion money laundering operation.
Above left, Staley and wife. Above right, Epstein and Prince Andrew.
Readers of the SGT Report or The International Reporter may be aware of an article they kindly published for me in the Summer in which I reviewed some of Epstein’s links into the British banking system.
Of particular and personal interest to me is one Jes Staley, current CEO of Barclays, who threatened to have my lawsuit against his bank struck out of court. His bank appears to be incriminated by Deutsche Bank in a parallel lawsuit in New York.
The Daily Mail had published an article concerning Staley’s appointment, for it appears that the top position was gifted to him by his friend, the infamous paedophile Jeffrey Epstein. Epstein was reported to have threatened the nation of Great Britain should the establishment have hired someone else.
Now while the Treasury Select Committee in that article told the Daily Mail and its readers it would grille Staley on these very serious allegations, a response to a Freedom of Information Act request told another story:
Mark Garnier MP and John Mann MP were both explicitly named in the Daily Mail article. I had written a letter to them shortly after the FOIA response came back (on the 26th July 2017) to ask why there was an apparent contradiction. Neither MP responded. Jeremy Lefroy, my constituency MP, said he would ask the head of the Treasury Select Committee for an explanation. Mr Lefroy is almost singular – a politician who provided the UK courts a letter of recommendation, advocating summary judgement against Deutsche Bank for gold manipulation. Precious metal rigging is up there with #pizzagate when it comes to discussion in mainstream politician venues. In the event that some ‘honest’ explanation is found, it will be published in a follow-up article.
As a side note, Staley is an executive of the Robin Hood Foundation, from which disgraced Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein resigned on the 10th of October 2017. Weinstein seems to be a sadistic sexual predator and is involved with the Clintons, the Democrats and Jeffrey Epstein – just like Jes Staley.
Diana Jenkins, the ex-wife of former Barclays executive Roger Jenkins (not to be confused with Barclays’ Anthony Jenkins) was recently alleged to have been running an elite paedophile ring in Hollywood circles. Diana Jenkins is involved with the Clintons, the Qataris and Haiti, having funded Sean Penn’s ventures into that country. Roger Jenkins is currently in custody and facing a trial for corrupt deals with Qatar. Qatar fund ISIS, who are known to swap arms for gold – the price of which Barclays’ cabal friend – Deutsche Bank – is known to have suppressed.
The FOIA implies Parliament’s Treasury Select Committee told an outright lie to the Daily
Mail and its readership suggesting the Westminster paedophile ring has agents therein. One may think that the Financial Markets and Services Group – another Parliamentary Quango – would be interested in a banker appointed at the decree of a convicted paedophile pimp Jeffrey Epstein. None of its members would reply to an email to them on these matters written in August of this year. Interestingly the father of a prominent member of that group is on the RAINS list, along with Ted Heath, Cyril Smith, Michael Winner, Paul Kernaghan and many others.
The RAINS List (Ritual Abuse Information Network and Support)
As a result of naming and shaming particularly insidious characters in the executive of the UK Judiciary, I have been contacted by people involved with their own battles against corruption against the very same people. Some of these are in the police and intelligence services, and they were kind enough to supply me with an internal memo, otherwise known as the RAINS list. Up to now it has been top secret and even Chief Constable Mike Veale was not disclosed a copy when he was investigating allegations of child rape against former Prime Minister Ted Heath. Mike Veale concluded that a number of independent allegations against Heath from the 1960s were entirely valid. Veale had been pressurized by many MPs to whitewash the investigation, some of whom have friends and colleagues named in the RAINS list. One famous Daily Mail columnist who railed against Veale earlier this month is also on the list.
The document was compiled between 2005 and 2007 – way before the allegations against Ted Heath and Cyril Smith caught the mainstream attention. It also named Michael Winner, the deceased executive from the same mould as Harvey Weinstein. It alleges a child abuse cult. Ted Heath was accused in it of wearing a set of fake claws when he molested his victims, which is the appendage of a sadists’ sexual fantasy. The fact that individuals named on that list have been determined to be guilty for the type of allegations made elsewhere gives very great credibility to its source. Not all of the names are suspects, some are informants, so it would be irresponsible to release the entire document.
The important message is that the RAINS list alleges a paedophile ring, not just names of
people under investigation, and that Cyril Smith and Ted Heath were part of the same ring. There are a number of MPs still living on that list, and some still serve in the House of Lords so its release is greatly feared by those culprits that know of its existence. In the case that I am suicided, arrested, dispossessed or my reputation ruined, the full list will go public. But I will expose one name here – perhaps the most serious entry on the list, for he is Paul Kernaghan, Judicial Appointment and Conduct Ombudsman – the man who judges the judges in the UK.
He was a former police chief, who retired early and given new life in the judiciary. He has been alleged to have covered-up paedophile rings while he served as police chief from several independent sources, and these have led to an ongoing investigation. His entry in the RAINS list claims he was involved in a Satanic Freemason ritual. The allegation would have come from detectives in the paedophile ring so we can figure those rituals would involve the abuse of children.
Kernaghan is known to me, because he let the former Lord Chief Justice, Baron Thomas, avoid recusal from office for violating the Data Protection Act. Thomas had refused to admit that his successor, Sir Ian Burnett, never had a transcript of hearing when Burnett dismissed over twenty allegations of misconduct against former Judge Simon Brown QC in my lawsuit against Deutsche Bank for gold rigging. In that lawsuit I alleged Deutsche Bank were involved in a Russian money laundering operation. Subsequently Deutsche Bank, RBS, Barclays and HSBC (all defendants in my lawsuit) are shown to be involved exactly as alleged to the tune of £65 billion. Email records show that Burnett closed the appeals 24 hours after my letter to Thomas arrived in his email folder.
Now it is unthinkable that Kernaghan could be under investigation not just for blocking a police investigation into paedophile rings, but under investigation for indulging in those vices himself as part of some perverted sub-cult of Freemasons, while the former Lord Chancellor Elizabeth Truss and the current Lord Chancellor David Lidington MP and the former Lord Chief Justice Baron Thomas and current Lord Chief Justice Sir Ian Burnett were never informed. They would have to know that Kernaghan was under investigation, and that he was named in the RAINS list. He was entirely unfit for office. At the very least he should have been suspended until the investigation was concluded.
Of course, if they did know, they would be in perfect position to blackmail Kernaghan, and Burnett would be sure to have kept his office and Thomas avoided disgrace for the cover up of the most serious financial frauds. Baron Thomas has personally put men in prison (Tom Hayes et al) for Libor rigging. For that matter, Julian Assange has spent more than half a decade holed up in the Ecuadorian Embassy as a result of Thomas’ decrees. Wikileaks has released documents that showed gold rigging fraud was established at the national level. Liabilities for gold rigging are estimated to
be more than an order of magnitude higher than those of Libor manipulation.
Judge Simon Brown QC, before his early ‘retirement’ appears to have done judicial favours for businessman Alan Jackson who is involved with Acorns – a charity for dying children. Such a charity is a perfect vehicle for some special kinds of activity is it not? One wonders whether Brown’s payment involved visits to those dying children, and whether Kernaghan ever met Brown or Jackson at a Freemason ceremony, and if so, what were kind of rituals went on? Brown was administrating a charity for a boys’ school from 2002-2005.
In my latest hearing Deutsche Bank still claim to be undertaking their gold trading audits, they claimed in Reuters – even after they released 75 audiotapes incriminating themselves in the New York lawsuit. They refused to hand over receipts and would neither confirm nor deny destroying them. Anshu Jain’s lawyers claimed he was entitled to received enhanced damages due to the attack I made on the reputation of judges. Judge David James Worster awarded them £15,000 on that basis. Presumably Jain intends to distribute the winnings to Kernaghan and Burnett. Worster invited me to appeal his ruling that deemed my allegations of Deutsche Bank’s gold rigging as ‘totally without merit.’ The appeal would involve Kernaghan and Burnett, executives of the judiciary. The Birmingham Courts have refused my request for a copy of the court recording. Not a single lawyer from the New York lawsuit would help me, not one answered an email. It is ironic then that they have complained that the US Department of Justice had refused to disclose materials that would help them with their lawsuit. What comes around goes around.
I remind the reader that Truss and Thomas ran a paedophile normalization programme that failed miserably and led to the abuse, rape and murder of children. Kernaghan never reproached either for that. Well he wouldn’t would he?
In April 2015, the Hatton Garden Safe Deposit Company, an underground safe deposit facility in London’s Hatton Garden area, was burgled. The total stolen may have a value of up to £200 million, the incident has been called the “largest burglary in English legal history.”
The heist was planned and carried out by four elderly men who were experienced thieves, all of whom pleaded guilty and received prison sentences in March 2016. Four other men were also tried on suspicion of involvement; three were found guilty and sent to prison, while the fourth was cleared.

Fenwick said it had been clear Johnson knew the force was investigating an allegation of child sexual abuse against Richard, because he described the singer as a “celebrity paedo” during a meeting.
Another self-serving regular at the Manorial Society: Conservative MP Keith Best
KEITH BEST, the former Tory MP who resigned after being convicted of dishonestly trying to buy shares in British Telecom, has been given a pounds 35,000-a-year job funded by the Home Office.
Mr Best will start work as director of the new Immigrants Appeals Advisory Service
Mr Best’s appointment comes amid increasing concern about the politicisation of government jobs. Michael Howard, the Home Secretary, recently rejected a shortlist for the new post of Prison Service Ombudsman because he considered the three widely respected candidates to be ‘too left-wing’.
Since then, Keith Best has become director of the charity Prisoners Abroad
After his election to Parliament Best was driving when his car was involved in an accident resulting in the death of his personal assistant; the incident affected his reputation, even though he was cleared of responsibility.
Rev. Martin Smyth MP & Neil Hamilton MP Western Goals Institute
Western Goals (UK) was the British branch of the American Conservative organisation, the Western Goals Foundation.
During its career, Western Goals had links to and supported the Contra rebels in Nicaragua, acting as a conduit for Oliver North’s funding of them according to a report of the Tower Commission. Its British subsidiary had links with the World Anti-Communist League, the British Anti-Communist League, the American Conservative groups the Conservative Action Foundation (CAF), the Committee to Defend the Constitution (CDC) as well as CAUSA, a front organisation for the Moonies, which supplied funds to the CAF. It also had links to the pro-Apartheid South African Conservative party, and also supported the Neo-Nazi German Republican Party and the French Front National, as well as El Salvador’s ruling Arena Party. There was also contact with the BNP, the League of St. George and David Irving’s Focus Group.
Western Goals (UK) parent organisation, the Western Goals Foundation, was set up in America in 1979 by Larry McDonald, an extreme Right-wing Georgia congressman with support from General John Singlaub. It was chaired by Linda Guell with Carl ‘Spitz’ Channell as its president. Western Goals (UK) was launched six years later May 1985, when Linda Guell visited Britain. By this time Western Goals also had a branch in Germany, and had run a series of TV adverts supporting the Contras. Both McDonald and Singlaub were linked to the Conservative Action Group, and Singlaub also had ties to the World Anti-Communist League.
Western Goals (UK) first director was the Young Conservative, Paul Masson. It also had a parliamentary advisor board, whose membership included the Rev. Martin Smyth, Patrick Wall, Nicholas Winterton, Neil Hamilton, Bill Walker and Stefan Terlezki, a former MP. Patrick Wall was also president of the British Anti-Communist Council, which was at the time a branch of the World Anti-Communist League. Peter Dally, another leading figure of BACC, was also president at the launch of Western Goals (UK). Terlezki was also a leading member in the British section of the Anti-Bolshevik Bloc of Nations (ABN). In March 1986 the anti-Fascist magazine, Searchlight, reported that Paul Masson had become a member of the ABN’s International Youth Committee, and that a delegation had been sent to them by the Young Monday Club consisting of Masson, David Neil-Smith, A.V.R. Smith and Adrian Lee.
‘Spitz’ Channell and Tax Fraud
In late 1986 Western Goals (UK) split with its American parent. This was partly due to the scandal over the Tower Reports finding of its funding of the Contras. More importantly, ‘Spitz’ Channell had admitted tax fraud. Western Goals (UK) therefore separated from the Western Goals Foundation, which was effectively wound up and absorbed into the Larry McDonald Trust. The split was, however, a difference without distinction, as the supposedly independent Western Goals (UK) still retained links to the Larry McDonald Trust.
Attacks on ‘Left-wing’ Charities
In 1986 and 1987 Western Goals played a leading role, with other Right-wing organisations such as the anti-trade union Economic League, in attacking the charities Oxfam, Cafod and War on Want. They also produced a report attacking Christian Aid. In October the same year Western Goals (UK) also held a fringe meeting at the Conservative Party conference attacking the charities under the title ‘Alms for the Poor or Arms for Communism?’. In 1989 they sent a report on the above charities involved in Central America Week to the Charities’ Commission. The report was produced by Michael McCrone and Gideon Sherman, the childhood friend of the Right-wing blogger, ‘Guido Fawkes’.
Opposition to War Crimes Trials in Britain
In February 1989 Western Goals issued a press release criticising the proposal to allow war crimes’ trials in Britain. They condemned such trials as a ‘Communist disinformation ploy’. The statement was issued on notepaper listing the names of their vice-presidents, one of whom was the Unionist MP, the Rev. Martin Smyth. Smyth then resigned, as he had actively campaigned for the trial of Nazi war criminals.
Derby-Lewis and British Conservatives
When Derby-Lewis again visited Britain the following year, 1990, A.V.R. Smith arranged for him to attend WACL’s 22nd conference in Brussels as a Western Goals Institute delegate. Western Goals (UK) also claimed that he had met leading members of the Conservative party such as Lord Hailsham, the tennis player and Buster Motram, who had formerly supported the NF. They also claimed that he had addressed a meeting of the House of Lords Monday Club under Lord Sudely and a banquet of the South West Essex Monday Club, attended by Teresa Gorman, Teddy Taylor and Tim Janman. His speech at the banquet was praised for its ‘robust defence of European values and civilisation in Southern Africa’. He was also a guest at a ‘select’ dinner in Whitehall for Conservative MPs, Conservative candidates, councillors and party officials.
Oliver North was instrumental in secretly selling arms to Iran following the 1979 revolution, despite an embargo, and then using the profits to supply weapons to the right-wing Contra rebels in Nicaragua, even though Congress had forbidden military support
I’m trying to get this straight in my mind: The criminal Jonathan Denby had links to the Iranians. His close friend Bee Carthew writes to Enoch Powell about paying her attention to Weinberger and North. Now we learn that North was sanction busting.
Now why does Powell mate Carthew mention Oliver North and Weinberger? Did Proctor and Denby do business with them?
Lord Lexden Tory Party Historian named as a pedophile in Scallywag
In 1994, issue 24, a magazine called Scallywag published the following allegation:
― that on 14 November 1992 in Dolphin Square, Alistair Cooke (Lord Lexden) had taken active part in a ‘paedophile party’ that took place in the apartment of Robert Banks MP.
The magazine reported that Alistair Cooke was positively identified by Robert Banks’ researcher, Anthony Lillis, who was at the scene and who later became a whistleblower of sorts.
It was suggested that some or all of the “young boys” abused (some possibly aged just 14) were highly vulnerable residents or former residents of the ‘Bryn Alyn Community’ children’s homes in North Wales.
Boys whom John Allen, in conjunction with other paedophile ‘fixers’ in Westminster, had allegedly frightened or cajoled into prostitution/child prostitution.

Lord Lexden – honorary patron of Council of British International Schools COBIS
A letter written concerning Lexden’s role as patron:
….In light of COBIS’ special association with Lord Lexden (formerly Alistair Cooke), the CEO, Board, Honorary Vice-Presidents and Honorary Members of your organisation will wish urgently to make inquiries with a view to establishing:
Whether your Honorary Vice Patron, Lord Lexden, featured in police inquiries (whether at the time or more recently) related to alleged child sexual abuse or child trafficking?
Whether your Honorary Vice Patron, as a senior official at the heart of the Conservative Party in Westminster at the time, was aware of the alleged ‘Boys for Questions’ operations encircling Parliament?
Whether your Honorary Vice Patron was ever the subject of arrest or police caution?
(If yes to any of the above) How in the world did Lord Lexden OBE come to be an honorary patron of COBIS notwithstanding your safeguarding procedures and child protection duties, and what will be done about it?
Again, there is no suggestion by me that your Honorary Vice President, Lord Lexden is guilty of any wrongdoing. I simply wish to know, from a child protection standpoint, what the facts are.
I look forward to receiving a timely response to my concerns and questions from the CEO, Board, Honorary Vice-Presidents and Honorary Members of the Council of British International Schools.
The discussion was set to focus on abuse alleged to have taken place in the distant past, or ‘historic abuse’ as some Lords continue to call it, however Researching Reform refuses to use this term as we are aware that survivors and victims of child sexual abuse find it particularly upsetting and not reflective of the day to day reality of living with abuse long after it has happened.
On February 19 The Times reported that Ted Heath’s private papers, now in the Bodleian Library Oxford, had been impounded by the police who plan to go through them to establish whether they contain evidence that the former Tory leader was involved in child sex abuse.
Alistair Lexden commented on this extraordinary development in a letter published in The Times on February 20.
Sir, The voluminous Heath papers, bought by the Bodleian Library for a vast sum, are in a mess and need cataloguing (article and leader, Feb.19). The police would do a great service to scholarship if, instead of paying bobbies to become researchers, they gave the money to the Bodleian’s trained archivists who could read every document for signs of sexual depravity and sort out this major archive at the same time. That would salvage something worthwhile from this otherwise ludicrous enterprise.
House of Lords
So where are those Three Janner Musketeers Vaz, Ashby and Carlile now?
Keith Vaz has since advanced to King of Sleaze, was caught red-handed with Romanian rentboys and is under investigation for sex abuse.
Ashby helped fund Proctor’s shirt shop and shared a bed Hague-style with a male doc in France.
Carlile was frequent visitor to highly questionable Manorial Society and has been hired to whitewash Bishop Bell.
Here’s the ‘Janner’ debate in Westminster from 1991 that @ciabaudo refers to. Keith Vaz refers to Janner as a great survivor! Carlile (Bell Report) also contributes whilst Patrick Cormack now Lord Cormack is a named supporter of the George Bell Group
I knew there was a reason why the Lib Dems might have wanted to part company with Carlile. How can he be impartial on Bishop Bell?
Not an impartial person to write a Report on Bishop Bell. I was impressed with Martin Warner’s response (current Bishop of Chichester) to being grilled this morning about Bishop Bell: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b09jbrvn#play… Piece on Bell at start

The house, 107 Walton Green, was occupied by convicted paedophile Leslie Ford-Thrussell.
Police “believe the property was the base for a child abuse ring for 40 years.”
The Sun reported that Ford-Thrussell ran a paedophile ring from the semi-detached property with two other men, said to be Stephen Dedman and a man who cannot be named.
Stacey Dedman, 19, revealed four years of abuse in the house; Stacey was seven when the abuse first started.
She has said: “I really believe there are bodies in the garden.”
Keith Vaz, also a frequent visitor to 104 Kennington, was also one of those in HoC who welcomed Janner back with open arms.

3 months after this event, she was appointed head of the IICSA
Baroness Butler-Sloss, a former senior judge, was appointed in July 2014 to lead an inquiry into allegations of historical child abuse but stood down before the inquiry started.
Her late brother, Lord Havers, had been attorney general in Margaret Thatcher’s government in the 1980s – leading some MPs to question whether she was the right person to investigate allegations of paedophilia from that time.
Downing Street said her withdrawal on 14 July – seven days after being announced as head of the inquiry – was “entirely her decision”.
One of several parliamentary trips to South Africa organised by Atkinson and Laud – all expenses paid, of course – took place in 1989 and included David Cameron, then an employee of Conservative Central Office, now Prime Minster.
When Cameron’s participation in this apartheid freebie was first publicised in 2009, Alistair Cooke (now Lord Lexden), Cameron’s boss at Central Office at the time, defended it as “simply a jolly. It was all terribly relaxed, just a little treat, a perk of the job. The Botha regime was attempting to make itself look less horrible, but I don’t regard it as having been of the faintest political consequence.”
But then in March 2011, Major Robinson quit Buckingham Palace under something of a cloud, having split from his wife amid allegations, strongly denied, of an affair.
Now five years on, feathers appear to have been ruffled in his new post as secretary of the Carlton Club, the 184-year-old home to the Conservative Party establishment.
In the vitriolic letter, on Carlton Club headed notepaper, the dissenters wrote: “We are calling ourselves The Disgruntled Members of Carlton Club (TDMCC) and hereby would like to anonymously announce that we are not happy with the recent appointment of Major Simon Robinson to be heading this prestigious members’ club.”
It accuses Major Robinson of being of “ill repute”. The letter then lists the concerns with Major Robinson, including his departure from Buckingham Palace and the suitability for his new job given his subsequent roles – and finally calls on Lord Strathclyde to quit as chairman.
Lord Lexden, a historian who has written the definitive history of the Carlton Club, said: “Unity is the normal characteristic at the Carlton Club, not factionalism. I am aware of but surprised to hear these rumblings and find them difficult to understand.”
Those who complain about Major Robinson claim concern over his past, including the circumstances in which he left the Royal household.
They have even delved into a succession of jobs he has held since stepping down as Crown Equerry, suggesting his previous roles as director of public affairs for a company based in Bermuda, executive of a Chinese equestrian consultancy (Equex) and latterly as chief executive of a Russian-owned private members’ club in Mayfair (12 Hay Hill Club) are not sufficient to take on the role of secretary of the Carlton Club.

New opening: The 12 Hay Hill club
An exclusive business and private members club offering £6,000-a-month serviced desk space and a restaurant run by a Michelin-starred chef is to open in Mayfair
The 12 Hay Hill club, which overlooks Berkeley Square, will be run by Crown Equerry and royal wedding planner Simon Robinson. Organisers say it will offer London’s “business elite” the ability to “work and play under one roof”.
Friends from their time in military service, they often team up on jobs and pool their extensive contact networks.I meet them in the smart but serious London members’ club 12 Hay Hill, their preferred venue for client meetings. Sharply dressed in Savile Row suits, they have impeccable credentials: Mann (whose father is Old Etonian mercenary Simon Mann, who spent five years in prisons in Zimbabwe and Equatorial Guinea for his role in a failed coup in the latter) attended Stowe and Bristol before joining the Blues and Royals and serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. Glancy was sponsored through Oxford by the Royal Marines and served with them for 10 years, receiving the Conspicuous Gallantry Cross in 2013 for undisclosed operations. When he and Mann left the armed forces, the obvious next step was to set up their own risk-management firms, using their expertise and connections to provide protection for anyone who needs it – and can afford it. Prices for bodyguards start at £400 per day and go up into the thousands.
Major Simon Robinson lost his coveted ‘job for life’ as Crown Equerry amid rumours of an extra-marital affair which he continues to deny furiously.
His wife has walked out on him with their two children and started divorce proceedings.
In a move which prompted claims of a cover-up, the suave 44-year-old major was handed a new role in the office which is drawing up plans for the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton.
He delighted in inviting her and Prince Philip for tea at his three-storey house in the grounds of Buckingham Palace.
He was one of only a handful of staff who were able to phone her directly. He was also close to the Duke of Edinburgh, and the pair would go shooting together.
Allegations of misbehaviour first surfaced in 2009, but it was not until October 2010
In July that year he was allegedly offered a pay-off equivalent to a year’s salary of between £60,000 and £80,000, and told to depart by December 31.
But the Queen, who was kept closely informed about the matter, is understood to have intervened.
The major was temporarily allowed to keep his grand house just inside the gates of the Royal Mews, where he paid a subsidised rent, and continued to work while challenging the decision.
His responsibilities were gradually reduced but it was not until October 2010 that he left his job, moving to the post of Assistant Comptroller in the Lord Chamberlain’s Office.
This comes with new accommodation at Kensington Palace, Princess Diana’s former home, until he leaves in March.
Mrs Robinson, who works for a children’s charity, declined to comment when approached by the Mail.
He is very close to the Queen – he loves her and she thinks the world of him.’
A Royal Household insider said: ‘The palace is supposed to be saving money, but they have moved a senior member of the Royal Household sideways into another job and taxpayers are paying about £80,000 a year. Why would they be wanting to cover this up?’
Church of England colluded with bishop who abused boys, says Welby
Report about bishop Peter Ball, finding collusion over 20 years, is ‘harrowing reading’
Collusion: Secret or illegal cooperation or conspiracy
Senior figures in the Church of England colluded for a period of 20 years with a disgraced former bishop who sexually abused boys and men, a damning independent report has found.
The archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, said the report on the church’s handling of former bishop Peter Ball made “harrowing reading”.
“The church colluded and concealed rather than seeking to help those who were brave enough to come forward. This is inexcusable and shocking behaviour,” he said.
“To the survivors who were brave enough to share their story and bring Peter Ball to justice, I once again offer an unreserved apology. There are no excuses whatsoever for what took place and the systemic abuse of trust perpetrated by Peter Ball over decades.”
Two former archbishops of Canterbury, George Carey and Rowan Williams, apologised to the victims of Peter Ball after being criticised for their failures in relation to him.
Ball, the former bishop of both Gloucester and Lewes, was jailed in October 2015 for the grooming, sexual exploitation and abuse of 18 vulnerable young men aged 17-25 who had sought spiritual guidance from him between 1977 and 1992. He was released from prison in February after serving 16 months.
Ball was cautioned by police. He resigned his post as bishop and retired to a rented cottage on the Prince of Wales’s Duchy of Cornwall estate butcontinued to officiate in 17 public schools until 2007. A fresh investigation was opened in 2012 which led to his conviction.
One of Ball’s victims, Neil Todd – the first to come forward with allegations of abuse – attempted suicide three times before killing himself in 2012.
Welby ordered an independent review of the church’s handling of the case, chaired by Dame Moira Gibb, former chief executive of Camden council.
The report said Ball’s case was dealt with at the highest levels within the church. He “was seen by the church as the man in trouble who the church needed to help”.
Ball was portrayed as a victim, and the review found “little evidence of compassion for Neil Todd even though from the outset it was clear that he was a vulnerable young man who had come to harm”.
It added: “The church appears to have been most interested in protecting itself.”
In the foreword to her report, An Abuse of Faith, published on Thursday, Gibb said the serious sexual wrongdoing of Ball “is shocking in itself but is compounded by the failure of the church to respond appropriately to his misconduct, again over a period of many years”.
“Ball’s priority was to protect and promote himself and he maligned the abused. The church colluded. The church colluded with that rather than seeking to help those he had harmed, or assuring itself of the safety of others.”
The report added, “progress has been slow and continuing, faster improvement is still required”.
Gibb made 11 recommendations in her report, including improving support to survivors of clerical abuse and taking steps to “demonstrate the individual and collective accountability of bishops”.
Peter Hancock, the C of E’s lead safeguarding bishop, who received the report on behalf of the church, said it had failed Ball’s survivors. “Having read the report I am appalled and disturbed by its contents … As a church we colluded, we failed to act and protect those who came forward for help. There are no excuses. We accept all the recommendations and are working to action them.”
Rowan Williams: ‘It is clear I did not give adequate priority to sorting out the concerns and allegations surrounding Peter Ball.’
He added: “For the survivors, it may feel this is all too late.”
According to the report, Ball intimated “on many occasions, to Lord Carey and others, that he enjoys the status of confidant of the Prince of Wales” and “sought to exploit his contact with members of the royal family in order to bolster his position”.

Moira Gibb is made a Dame CBE by the Prince Charles at Buckingham Palace back in 2012
However, Dame Moira Gibb’s report went on, it “found no evidence that the Prince of Wales or any other member of the royal family sought to intervene at any point in order to protect or promote Ball”.
Carey was criticised in the report, which said he “set the tone for the church’s response to Ball’s crimes and gave the steer which allowed Ball’s assertions that he was innocent to gain credence”.
In a statement responding to the report, Carey said it made “uncomfortable reading” and he accepted its criticisms of him. “I apologise to the victims of Peter Ball. I believed Peter Ball’s protestations and gave too little credence to the vulnerable young men and boys behind those allegations.”
Carey said he regretted not putting Ball’s name on the Lambeth List – names of people whose suitability for ministry is under question – after he was cautioned.
Under the leadership of Williams, the church began reviewing past cases, a move which ultimately led to the criminal case against Ball being reopened, the report said. However, he was criticised as being “lamentably slow” in making change.
In a statement, Williams said: “Having read the report and reflected on its details, it is clear I did not give adequate priority to sorting out the concerns and allegations surrounding Peter Ball at the earliest opportunity. I recognise such a delay is likely to have increased the pressure and distress experienced by the survivors of his abuse and I am sincerely sorry for this.”
MP & COUNCILLOR Mike Hancock used to keep quite esteemed company in the 1990’s, it would seem, as this picture shows him alongside late Lib Dem Portsmouth City Cllr Peter Hawksworth who was convicted in 2001 of sex attacks on “two vulnerable boys”,
Queen offered “Keys of Fortress” by child abuser Emery-Wallis”
Emery-Wallis – Leader of the Hampshire County Council
Janella, known then as Alizon Jane Pink, was systematically abused and conditioned to accept the abuse as part of her life, from birth through school to hospital incarceration, Whilst a very young child she suffered rape and sexual abuse by school teachers and family and a complete stranger. No attempt was made to listen to her or free her from the distress it caused.
Evidence suggests she was a victim of a paedophile ring instigated by her adoptive parents and other members of the family. To cover this up it appears she was condemned to a mental hospital, by her MP father.
Bonner Pink and Emery-Wallis were on the Council Childrens Committee and the Finance and General Purposes Committee together. Mr and Mrs Prosser were appointed to the posts of Warden and Matron of the Reception Centre by the Council.
Bonner Pink is named by his adopted daughter as a child abuser. Emery Wallis was convicted of 5 counts of indecent assault dating back to the 1960s and 1970s and Peter Prosser has been the subject of 3 child abuse investigations in 1961, 2006 and 2008, and one since? Prosser has been the subject of 3 police investigations in 1961, 2006, 2008.
Gwendoline Round and Francis John Bone were also convicted of indecent assault and indecent behaviour respectively. Mr Brackstone, a childrens home houseparent was investigated by the Home Office for getting a 14 year old pregnant and running away with her.
All of these child abusers were councillors or employed by Portsmouth City Council.
Prosser bought an old RAF club in Wales as a childrens home and subsequently sold it to Portsmouth City Council. Bonner-Pink and Emery-Wallis were on the Finance and General Purposes Committee which enabled them to ensure this property was bought by the Council.
Rita Pink, Bonner’s wife, was the local chairperson for the NSPCC
Stevens book Heartless is of increasing significance, because it was published way before the mass of information about child sexual abuse came out, it has links to MPs and prominent people, it names names, it deals with Broadmoor and Rampton from the point of view of an “inmate” of which little is known and it also details drugs used in drug abuse on children which I think will become a more important issue as the links of the phamaceutical industry to child abuse become more widely known. For misuse of drugs on children see also Teresa Coopers book Trust No Oneand description on

…Father Michael Seed, Tony Blair’s priest who was up to no good with Archbishop Eugenio Sbarbaro (Aside from his time in the Washington Embassy and Tax Havens of the Carribean, Sbarbaro knighted Nadhmi Auchi):
In November 2008, a London-based friar of the Franciscans of the Atonement, Fr. Michael Seed, using “American corporate strategist” Kalman Sporn as a go-between, approached Israeli arms dealer, Hezi Bezalel, promising Bezalel that he could arrange introductions to “influential Balkan politicians” including “the man who looks after all arms for the region.” Seed said this arms trader was a friend of Archbishop Eugenio Sbarbaro, the papal nuncio to Belgrade, who would handle the introductions. The cost to Bezalel would be a contribution to Sbarbaro’s charity.
Fr. Seed met Archbishop Sbarbaro while Seed was a student in the early 1980s at the Catholic University of America located in Washington D.C. and Sbarbaro was the charge d’affaires at the Vatican embassy. Seed is currently honorary chaplain to the International Committee on Human Dignity based at the European Parliament in Brussels.
In January 2011, the archbishop flew to London to help Seed celebrate the 25th anniversary of his ordination. Party guests included “millionaire benefactors who had flown in by private jet.” Seed said he lives for free in a London flat owned by Gregory King, a Scottish corporate money lender whose fortune is estimated at £200 million.
The Mail noted that Seed, “who regularly celebrated Mass for Tony Blair [recent Catholic convert and Bush ally in invading Iraq],” has many well-connected friends. Among them is Xuelin Black, a Chinese national “developing business and political interests” in London and also an advisor to Lord Wei, appointed by who Tory Prime Minister Cameron as head of the British equivalent of the U.S. Faith Based and Neighborhood Partnerships. Black accepted a check from Seed for £34,000 drawn from his religious order’s charity bank account and later deposited the money into Seed’s personal account.
The only remarkable part of the above news article that a priest with rich friends and Tory connections, along with a papal nuncio, would be involved in an attempted arms trade in a politically unstable part of the world is that it was found out and reported. History tells us that cooperation among Catholic officials, big money and rightwing politicos has produced not only scandals but the deaths of millions.

Freemason Brother Frederick Walter Stephen ‘Fred’ West, was an English serial killer known to have been in full-fellowship with at least one English Masonic lodge, the Gloucestershire Round Table Lodge.
The UK police, authorities and MSM (media) should really be putting these reports together. However, seeing as though these same bodies are also CRIMINALS (and gatekeepers to the paedo elite), we shouldn’t expect them to start anytime soon.
Time to unveil the UK for what it really is – an establishment/elite paedophile factory, posing as a nation:
It has been long believed that convicted paedophile Alexander Gartshore murdered 11-year-old Moira. He was the last person to see her in 1957.
Cops were never able to pin the murder on the child rapist, who died a free man in 2006 aged 85.
But prosecutors now believe that they have enough evidence to bring a case against him in court – if he was alive.
The police chief leading the hunt, Detective Superintendent Pat Campbell, said: “We want to find Moira and bring her back.
“We’ve already had a site visit and a meeting where we had 18 experts from various authorities across Europe, many of whom were there of their own accord, such is the interest in trying to find Moira.
“The investigating team will use sonar and ground-penetrating radar as well as magnetometry, where magnetic properties of soil can be measured and mapped.”
The team will include Professor Sue Black from Dundee University who was previously involved in the exhuming of Old Monkland Cemetery in 2013 as well as a number of specialists from the James Hutton Institute in Aberdeen and Queen’s University in Belfast.
DS Campbell said: “We feel it’s proportionate to search there.
“Of course, it’s extremely challenging to find remains of a child in water after 60 years and if we do search we need to know we can find something.
“Would the body have degraded to such an extent there is nothing left? Specialists tell us there would still be skeletal remains.”
He added: “Due to technology, we can carry out lots of non-invasive searches for anomalies, too.
“We are 60 years down the line, people are getting on, and that’s a challenge.
“I remain convinced there is someone out there who has information they haven’t shared. We want to bring closure to this.”
This will be sister Janet’s first return home in 16 years, but she has never been far from the story.
Janet – who named her daughter Moira – said: “I still think of her every day.
“I pray each night that she’s found and I still have nightmares, although not so often now.
“It’s something I have to do. All we want is closure.”
Cops probe sex beasts in the town where she vanished
COPS hunting schoolgirl Moira Anderson’s body are probing claims a child sex ring operated in the town where she vanished.
Detectives are pursuing links between the 11-year-old’s suspected killer Alexander Gartshore and other paedophiles in Coatbridge, Lanarkshire.
It is hoped the new clues could lead to the remains of Moira being found 56 years after her slaying.
DCI Pat Campbell said: “There are allegations about Gartshore and other children, and about his friends and associates being involved in similar behaviour.”
Campaigner Sandra Brown — who accused her dad Gartshore of Moira’s murder before his death in 2006 — said: “I’ve no doubt there was an organised paedophile ring in Coatbridge possibly revolving around the bus depot where he worked.”
A grave was exhumed in the town three months ago in a vain bid to find Moira’s body.
23 April 2006.A SECRET dossier said to identify members of a paedophile ring could be published within weeks, after the intervention of the Scottish information commissioner.Kevin Dunion has been asked by the family of Moira Anderson, a schoolgirl who disappeared almost 50 years ago, to review a decision by Strathclyde police not to release the document that may identify her abductors. The 11-year-old was last seen boarding a bus in Coatbridge, Lanarkshire, in 1957 during a heavy snowstorm. She was on her way to the shops to buy a box of chocolates for her mother’s birthday. The dossier, written by James Gallogley, a convicted paedophile who died in Peterhead prison in 1999, is said to implicate senior public figures in the abuse of children in Strathclyde during the 1950s and 1960s.
It is also believed to list vehicles and safe houses used in Glasgow, Monklands and Paisley where children were hidden before being taken to sex parties.Strathclyde’s chief constable has refused to release the document, saying its publication could destroy any chance of solving the case. However, relatives argue it could help to identify those responsible for Anderson’s abduction and recover her remains. Her sister Janet, 63, who lives in Australia, has appealed to the information commissioner to order its release. A decision is expected in the next few weeks. Her call is backed by Sandra Brown, the founder of the Moira Anderson Foundation, who believes her late father, Alex Gartshore, was responsible for the crime. In an interview with The Sunday Times this weekend, Brown said her father, a former bus driver and convicted sex offender from Coatbridge, was part of a paedophile ring whose members she will recognise when she sees Gallogley’s dossier.
She said that Gartshore and Gallogley, who were friends, lived close to Fred West, the notorious serial killer, in Coatbridge during the early 1960s. Both Gartshore and West moved out of the area in late 1965.However, Gartshore, who was on bail accused of sexually assaulting a teenage girl at the time of Anderson’s disappearance, denied any involvement in the crime. He died earlier this month at the age of 85.
According to Brown, who has spoken to former police officers involved in the investigation, Gallogley’s dossier describes how “wee Moira” was subdued with chloroform, abused by Gartshore and “one other” and placed in the boot of Gartshore’s bus.
It claims her body was dumped in the Tarry Burn in Coatbridge, an area that has never been thoroughly searched.
The dossier was handed to police by a former cell mate four years after Gallogley’s death. It prompted a review of Anderson’s disappearance but failed to throw up any meaningful leads.
“Pressure needs to be brought to bear on Strathclyde police,” said Brown.
“Who is being protected and why is there a problem with transparency? I understand Gallogley’s dossier reveals names in his confession. It indicates Moira was not the sole victim of this ring and gives details of parties where children were abused.
“Those named could help lead us to Moira’s remains. There’s unwillingness by officers to share information.”
However, Strathclyde police said inquiries were ongoing. “We regularly review any investigations and the disappearance of Moira Anderson is no exception,” said a spokesman. “Any new evidence and information will be the subject of further investigation in an effort to resolve her disappearance, ” said a spokesman.
Documents relating to the disappearance of a schoolgirl nearly 50 years ago will not be released following a decision by the Scottish Freedom of Information Commissioner.
Mr Dunion’s decision states: “I know that my refusal to accede to this request will be very disappointing to family members and to friends who, understandably, are desperate to solve the mystery of Moira Anderson’s disappearance.
“However, that would not justify setting aside the privacy to which those making statements to the police are entitled to expect. Nor can I justify the real damage to the integrity of conducting police investigations which would entail.”
Janet Bates, 62, said yesterday her late husband Terry Crick was racked with guilt when police took no action against West who went on to kill at least 12 people.
She believes his death was due to a campaign by West Mercia and Gloucestershire Police, who she claims failed to act because West was a police informant and officers used the brothel at their home.
Her late husband had reported West in 1970 after he showed him gruesome images of body parts and surgical instruments, which West said he used for illegal abortions.
She said: “Terry had been shown disturbing images and went straight to the police but when they didn’t do anything he felt responsible.
The late father-of-two apparently reported West again when he saw his face on the front of a newspaper in the early 1990s. West and his wife and Rose were finally apprehended and charged in 1994. West committed suicide in 1995 before going to trial.
Rose was convicted of 10 murders in 1995 and is serving life in jail. Many of the murders occurred from 1973 to 1979 in the Wests’ home in Gloucester.
Ms Bates said: “Terry asked how many girls could he have saved if they had listened to him?
She alerted the Independent Police Complaints Commission in May this year claiming her late husband was “bullied and harassed” as part of a cover-up by officers’ involved with the Wests. The allegations are still under investigation.
She said yesterday: “We believe Terry is dead because of the way senior police misused their powers. I did not pursue it as I was afraid that what happened to Terry would happen to me.
“I had two young children at the time but now they are older and they want this mistake acknowledged. This is for them.”
He was a witness at the trial of Rose West in 1995
Gloucestershire Police were accused by another woman of using the Wests’ home as a brothel but the claims were dismissed in 1996.
The case has been referred to Dyfed-Powys Police.
Gloucestershire and West Mercia Police refused to comment.
