Jo Cox and Kinnocks

The Kinnocks & Jo Cox

‘A beloved niece’ Lord Kinnock weeps on TV following the killing of Jo Cox

An emotional Lord Kinnock had tears running down his cheek as he described Mrs Cox as a “beloved niece”.

He told BBC Breakfast: “We’ve known Jo since she came to work for Glenys in the European Parliament 20 years ago, and it would be no exaggeration to say that both of us felt about her as if she was a beloved niece, because that’s the kind of relationship it was.

“She was wonderful company but she was also a ferociously effective political activist and she showed that before she became a Member of Parliament and we were hugely proud when she was selected and then elected.

“We both went up to speak for her and it was obvious then that the community had taken Jo to her heart – just like everybody else did.

Save the Children ‘spent £100,000 to shut down sex story’

May 23 2018,

The Save the Children charity was accused yesterday of spending £100,000 on lawyers to try to “shut down” media reporting of sexual harassment cases involving senior staff.

Sir Alan Parker, the charity’s former chairman, was questioned by MPs on the international development select committee about the handling of investigations into claims against the former senior executives Justin Forsyth and Brendan Cox.

The Charity Commission is investigating the handling of cases in 2012 and 2015 and the organisation has stopped bidding for funds from the Department for International Development pending the outcome.

Sir Alan was asked why Save the Children had spent money donated by the public to hire the City law firm Harbottle & Lewis to send “aggressive” letters to media.

Save the Children whistleblower warns it should not have taken SIX years for anyone to quit over ‘inappropriate behaviour’ after chairman Sir Alan Parker resigns amid cover up claims

A whistleblower at Save the Children has complained it took six years for anyone resign over claims of ‘inappropriate behaviour’ at the charity.

Chairman Sir Alan Parker resigned last night following claims of a high-level cover-up of allegations against two executives at the charity’s UK arm.

Chief executive Justin Forsyth and policy director Brendan Cox have both quit over claims against them in recent weeks. Sir Alan faces no allegations personally.

But whistleblower Alexia Pepper de Caires today blasted the failure of the charity to intervene sooner, including after a report on misbehaviour in 2015.

Ms de Caires, who left the charity that year, told BBC Radio 4’s Today programme: ‘There was no culpability at the time and I’ve seen very little since then.

‘I haven’t seen enough evidence of the culture changing.’

She also said she was ‘curious about why it’s taken six years’ for someone to step down ‘who was in a position of power at the time’.

Ms de Caires told Today: ‘In my view this is not complex at all, this has always been very simple.

‘The message that we know and live and breath is to value women equally, which we have not seen at Save the Children’.

Sir Alan Parker resigned following claims of a high-level cover-up of allegations against two executives at the charity’s UK arm.

It comes a week after the Charity Commission said it was carrying out a statutory inquiry into Save the Children over the claims.

The watchdog is looking at whether the charity adequately reported what it knew about allegations against former chief executive Justin Forsyth and policy director Brendan Cox.

He also brought in his own lawyers to help with the cases instead of using the charity’s legal advisers.

As a result, formal investigations were abandoned and both men left discreetly.

Sir Alan has always denied a cover-up of the allegations.

The source said: ‘There were HR procedures that were in place to deal with Brendan and Justin.

‘Lawyers were contacted … then Alan came in, in both cases within 48 hours, saw the advice of Save the Children’s lawyers, ignored that advice and quickly brought in new lawyers.

‘HR were totally across it and said we have to deal with this, but Alan wasn’t happy … they did not follow Save [the Children]’s HR protocol. After Brendan left, the investigation into what he did just stopped.

‘The original lawyers’ letters are in the safe at Save [the Children] and the Commission are going to see them.’

Sir Alan is founder and chairman of the PR firm Brunswick. Gordon Brown is godfather to his youngest son, and when David Cameron left No10 he lived briefly at Sir Alan’s London home.

A 2015 report found Sir Alan’s ‘very close’ relationship with former Save the Children boss Mr Forsyth may have affected how he responded to complaints. Three women employees accused Mr Forsyth of inappropriate behaviour, for which he said he had apologised. He allegedly sent inappropriate texts and commented on what young female staff were wearing. It was claimed if the women did not reply, he would continue to pester them. Allegations were also made against Mr Cox, the charity’s former director of policy. He stepped down after admitting he had ‘made mistakes’.

Brendan Cox, pictured, was policy director with Save the Children until his resignation in 2015

Brendan Cox, pictured, was policy director with Save the Children until his resignation in 2015

Sir Alan was chairman of trustees at Save the Children UK when Mr Forsyth and Mr Cox left in 2015. He then went on to chair the board of Save the Children International.

The leaked 2015 report found that Sir Alan was ‘less than supportive’ when harassment claims were made by women working for the charity.

It described how Save the Children’s head of HR alerted Sir Alan to the issues. He said Sir Alan had said: ‘Justin Forsyth is very important to the organisation; people behave very differently when they’re abroad; they would have been tired; they would have needed some mutual support; what were the complainants doing by agreeing to go to his hotel room in the first place.’

The report said the head of HR was ‘frustrated’ by Sir Alan’s response ‘which he feared was a result of Sir Alan Parker and Justin Forsyth being close’.

One complainant was quoted as saying: ‘It’s more about who Alan is, and having Alan and his best mate Justin sort of talking to each other about how best to handle these girls.’

Two months ago Mr Forsyth admitted ‘personal mistakes’ over the claims he sent young women a barrage of text messages. The former aide to Tony Blair, who went on to become deputy executive director at Unicef, said he had engaged in ‘unsuitable and thoughtless conversations’ which he accepts ’caused offence and hurt’.

He faced three complaints between 2011 and 2015, the year he left the organisation. He later resigned from his job at Unicef.

Mr Forsyth also faced questions over whether he protected Mr Cox, the widower of murdered MP Jo Cox, after he was accused of inappropriate behaviour towards women.

Mr Cox admitted he had behaved in a way that caused women ‘hurt and offence’.

In 2016 alone, Save the Children investigated more than 200 complaints of misconduct against staff.

Last month, protesters from the Women’s Equality Party interrupted a Save the Children board meeting to call for Sir Alan’s resignation.

Alexia Pepper de Caires, a former employee of the charity, read out a statement saying men at Save the Children UK had ‘disempowered women, sexualised their presence in the workforce and minimised their experiences’.

Sir Alan was due to leave in December but ‘felt it right at this moment to bring forward his succession’, the charity said. Announcing his resignation, he wrote: ‘Given the complex mix of challenges the organisation and the sector is facing, it is my view that a change is needed.’

He added: ‘In Save the Children UK we dealt with some unacceptable workplace behaviour, involving harassment, in our head office in Farringdon in 2012 and 2015. These issues are now subject to further review by the Charity Commission.’

Pernille Lopez, on behalf of the Save the Children Association and its international board, said: ‘We would like to thank Alan for his immense contribution to Save the Children over the past ten years.’

Who is Sir Alan Parker? The multi-millionaire PR guru who goes on beach holidays with the Camerons

Sir Alan Parker is a remarkably well-connected PR mogul who can claim allegiances across the political divide.

The son of a former British Rail chairman, he is reputed to be worth £130 million thanks to the success of Brunswick, the UK’s biggest financial PR firm, which he founded in 1987.

Before turning his hand to public relations, Sir Alan worked on an oil rig and managed rock bands.

A rebellious teenager, his anti-Establishment attitude meant he was denied a place at Oxford despite an excellent academic record. His unconventional approach to business is said to persist in his tendency to kick off his shoes during meetings.

Sir Alan, 62, started Brunswick in his parents’ front room in 1987, but the firm now boasts many high-profile clients, including EMI, Pearson, Reuters and Time Warner. It is thought to have advised more than a quarter of FTSE 100 listed firms.

Said to be a natural Labour supporter, Sir Alan was involved in attempts to rebrand Gordon Brown’s public image during his ailing premiership. Mr Brown is godfather to Sir Alan’s son, William.

But the PR guru has also holidayed with David Cameron. He and the former Tory leader were pictured hitting the beach together in South Africa. Samantha Cameron is an ambassador for Save the Children.

Sir Alan later lent one of his properties – a £16.8 million seven-bedroom townhouse in Holland Park – to Mr Cameron and his family after they left Downing Street.

The PR mogul was among business leaders who accompanied Mr Cameron on a trade mission to China in 2013 before being knighted for services to business, charitable giving and philanthropy.

In 2001, Sir Alan’s 24-year marriage to Caroline, an artist, ended in divorce. In 2007, he married Jane Hardman, who had worked at Brunswick. Both Mr Cameron and Mr Brown were guests at the wedding.

One of Sir Alan’s siblings is Nathaniel Parker, the actor best known for playing Inspector Lynley in the BBC crime series. His other brother Oliver is a respected director.

He is said to have use of a chauffeured Bentley and collects art by Sir Henry Moore as well as rare books. A keen angler, he owns half a £1.8million salmon beat – a stretch of river with fishing rights – on the Tay in Scotland.

Parker junior has inherited his father’s taste for rubbing shoulders with politicians. At Parker’s wedding to his second wife and former Brunswick employee Jane Hardman, the then Prime Minister Tony Blair and Chancellor Gordon Brown were guests.

The business has been good to Parker. He has a collection of Henry Moore sculptures, owns a stretch of the Tay in Scotland for salmon fishing and is estimated to be worth more than £100 million. Brunswick represents Charter, the engineering firm that has agreed to a £1.5 billion takeover approach from rival Colfax.

After graduating, Jo Cox worked as an adviser for Labour MP Joan Walley and then Glenys Kinnock.  Jo Cox also worked as an adviser to Sarah Brown.

At least three people have tried unsuccessfully to access the (Barbara) Castle files to see if they contain the (Dickens) dossier, having found a lot of the material closed. Papers with restricted access include diary entries and correspondence with family members.

All of her correspondence with the former Labour Home Secretary Jack Straw between October 1981 and February 1999, as well as all correspondence between her and Neil and Glenys Kinnock between November 1981 and August 1996, is also marked “closed” on the library’s database, along with a letter she wrote to Neil Kinnock in December 1999.

The foreign secretary, Jack Straw, formally approved Mr Kinnock’s appointment on the recommendation of an independent panel set up to find Lady Helena Kennedy’s replacement. Kinnock said he was “pleased and greatly honoured” to succeed Lady Helena Kennedy.

The former Labour leader came to Brussels as commissioner in charge of transport under president Jacques Santer.

He was one of only four of the Santer team to be reappointed after mass resignations triggered by allegations of mismanagement and cronyism within the commission.

In 1972 Claire Rayner was accused of “encouraging masturbation and promiscuity in prepubescent girls”.

Righton’s very close friend/fellow PIE member Charles Napier (half-brother to dominatrix client, John Whittingdale MP) was employed as a teacher by the British Council in Cairo even though he was already on List 99 as a banned teacher after his early conviction.

Present enquiries into paedophile cover-ups are likely to examine how Charles Napier managed to continue teaching even after his first conviction for indecent assault in 1972.  He was banned from teaching in the UK, but emigrated and by the late 1970s (already an active member of the Paedophile Information Exchange) was employed at a school in Sweden.

Former MI6 deputy director Sir Peter Hayman was married to Charles Napier’s cousin

Around the same time that Napier emigrated, his cousin’s husband – fellow paedophile Sir Peter Hayman – had returned from a stint as High Commissioner in Canada to become deputy director of MI6.

Incredibly Napier later became an assistant head of studies with the British Council in Cairo, and then taught in Istanbul.

The alleged network was said to include senior politicians from all three main parties, such as Leon Brittan, Greville Janner and Cyril Smith alongside a former head of MI6 Sir Peter Telford Hayman.[49]

Another witness claimed he had seen Mr Boateng during caravan holidays for children run by a charity, called the Association of Combined Youth Clubs. Carroll was a member of the ACYC.

The witness claimed Carroll had boasted of his friendship with Mr Boateng.

This witness told Newsnight: “John Carroll would regularly talk about him [Paul Boateng] being able to open doors for him.”

Lord Boateng told the BBC he has no recollection of going to Angell Road or of meeting Mr Carroll.

1991  Janner broke his silence on the affair,

Regarding the exact nature of his relationship with the boy, Janner said: ‘Long ago, when [he] was a deprived youngster living in a Leicestershire children’s home, my family and I tried unsuccessfully to help him. Now, after some 15 years of Beck’s influence, they [have] combined to make disgraceful and totally untrue allegations against me.’

The statement met with widespread applause in the Commons and warm words from such allies as Keith Vaz MP, who described Janner as ‘a brave man’ and whip Derek Foster, who passed on party leader Neil Kinnock’s ‘tremendous support.’

Actress and campaigner Joanna Lumley has been announced as a new patron of the Peter Tatchell Foundation.

A number of peers have also become patrons – Labour peers Lord Waheed Alli, Lord Michael Cashman, Baroness Joan Bakewell and Baroness Helena Kennedy, and Liberal Democrat peer Baroness Liz Barker.

On June 26, 1997, Mr Tatchell wrote a startling letter to the Guardian newspaper.

In it, he said:

‘While it may be impossible to condone paedophilia, it is time society acknowledged the truth that not all sex involving children is unwanted, abusive and harmful.

Is this the current CHE membership leaflet with photo of Nettie Pollard & Peter Tatchell from 2011?

“Pollard gave a constant stream of support to paedophiles and promoted their views.”

Photo below: Nettie Pollard (EC Member) with Peter Tatchell at the 2011 Annual Conference:

Nettie Pollard was member number 70 of the Paedophile Information Exchange.

Pensioner backed Paedophile Information Exchange and may hold key to links with left wing groups

Nettie Pollard was a key figure in the London left – a Sunday People investigation reveals her to be a chief apologist for some of PIE’s most chilling demands

Even those who have lived beside her for years have little idea about her life – none of her neighbours has ever been invited inside the home she has lived in alone for almost 30 years.

But 69-year-old Nettie Pollard may hold the key to how the Paedophile Information Exchange infiltrated left wing groups in the 1970s.

She was a key figure in the London left, working for the National Council for Civil Liberties for two decades.

But a Sunday People investigation reveals Pollard to be chief apologist for some of PIE’s most chilling demands.

Our investigation found that throughout her career Pollard gave a constant stream of support to paedophiles and promoted their views. She also:

  • Supported PIE’s call to scrap the age of consent.
  • Argued against the introduction of a bill to protect children.
  • Sat on committees with known paedophiles and PIE members.
  • Wrote a twisted essay defending sex between adults and children.

It emerged MP Harriet Harman, husband Jack Dromey and former Health Secretary Patricia Hewitt had been involved with the NCCL when PIE was affiliated to it.

Mrs Harman has subsequently moved to distance herself from Pollard and paedophiles, with a spokesman stating they “did not influence any of the work she did there”.

Image result for harriet harman pie

However one source involved with the London left in the 70s claims – embarrassingly for Mrs Harman – that she and Pollard did work together on occasions within the NCCL .

The source said: “Nettie was a big presence in the movement back in the 1970s and couldn’t be ignored by anyone wanting to get on in the NCCL.”

Our investigation first places Pollard in 1975 working as the Gay and Lesbian Officer for the NCCL.

And that brought her into close contact with the infamous PIE – the child sex group which campaigned to have the age of consent lowered or scrapped.

As well as her role at the NCCL, Pollard was and remains a significant member of the Campaign for Homosexual Equality – a group that defended PIE’s rights at their 1983 conference.

But even after PIE was disbanded in 1984, Pollard made no secret of her sympathy for the organisation’s aims.

In 1993 she contributed a defence of the sexualisation of youngsters to a book called Bad Girls and Dirty Pictures.

Entitled The Small Matter of Children, Pollard’s essay draws on work by known paedophiles such as former PIE vice-chair Warren Middleton to build its case.

Pollard argues child sex should be legal if the act is “consensual”.

It also uses language like “willing partners” to describe sex between adults and children.

But by far the most disturbing section is Pollard’s attempt to justify the sexualisation of children.

She writes: “Far from being ‘innocent’ and becoming sexual at puberty, as was once the common belief, it is now indisputable that everyone is sexual, even before birth.”

The research cited was also used in PIE’s bid to reduce the age of consent to just four.

Pollard continued to work for the NCCL until her mysterious departure from the group in 1997.

She was made redundant but reports from Feminists Against Censorship implies murkier reasons behind her exit.

A newsletter from the time reads: “Within the last several months, two of NCCL’s employees have remarked that the organisation’s longest-serving staff member, Nettie Pollard, was the last civil libertarian left on the payroll.”

Challenging the cost-cutting explanation given it added: “Since she is one of the few indispensable staff members, and the most expensive to make redundant, we suspect economy is not the reason.”

Pollard, whose Facebook page currently shows her support for causes including an anti-drones campaign and attacks on the “Big Brother” state, also showcases her taste in music with a link to indie rock band The Donutsh – described by one of their following as sounding “like Johnny Cash biting off Johnny Rotten’s head”.

She refused to answer the door to us when we visited her home.

Feb 2014: Convicted paedophile, Tom O’Carroll told The Guardian he remained a member of the NCCL’s gay rights committee for several years after Harman claimed his organisation was marginalised. NCCL archives in London have also shown how O’Carroll, a former chairman of PIE, asked Nettie Pollard, a staff member at the organisation, about the possibility of amendments to the 1978 child protection bill.

Lambeth and Mrs. Thatcher: Research documentation available

In 1986, 32 Lambeth councillors were disqualified from political office and fined nearly a quarter of a million pounds for delaying levying the rate. Some have gone to high office; one Sir Stephen Bubb was recently knighted by David Cameron. Joan Walley has been the MP for Stoke since 1987. A number have since died.

The rate capping campaign involved powerful labour councils up and down the country and figures that are today influential in national politics. David Blunkett and Margaret Hodge were closely involved as were the high profile Ken Livingstone and Ted Knight.

Brussels whistleblower quits in despair

27 August, 2002

A European official whose whistle-blowing revelations sparked the resignation of the entire European Commision has quit, after declaring that nothing has changed.

In 1999, he went public with details of corruption, cronyism and abuse of power in the commission.

The entire team of 20 commissioners, headed by then president Jacques Santer, resigned in a symbolic gesture to demonstrate their commitment to cleaning up the commission’s act.

But Mr Van Buitenen says that, three years on, it is business as usual.

“Despite everything, I can’t see any change in Brussels,” he said.

The clean-up operation has been headed by the UK’s Neil Kinnock, administration commissioner and a commission vice-president.

But as long ago as March 2000 Mr Van Buitenen cast doubt on whether the reforms would achieve anything.

“(Mr Kinnock) has drawn up a nice reform plan which looks right but he does not tackle the people who committed the irregularities,” he said at the time. “They have been confirmed in their jobs or even promoted.”

Confidence in the commission’s inner purging was knocked again earlier this year, when another whistleblower, chief accountant Marta Andreasen, was forced from her job.

The Kinnocks’ son …Stephen Kinnock

January 2009 Stephen Kinnock – head of World Economic Forum’s Europe and Central Asia team

Kinnock has worked for the British Council for more than 12 years where he has held senior UK-based and international positions in Europe, Russia and Africa. Most recently, he was Programme Leader for Inter-Cultural Dialogue where he led the design and development of “Sharing Futures”, the British Council’s multi-country programme to engage with young people who are potentially vulnerable to negative radicalization, with a focus on the Middle East and South Asia. Prior to this, Kinnock was a British Council Director for Sierra Leone, north-west Russia and Brussels.

Stephen Kinnock worked as a research assistant at the European Parliament in Brussels before becoming a British Council Development and Training Services executive based in Brussels in 1997. He held various positions with the British Council

Brendan Cox had to resign from the charity Save the Children fund in November 2015 over allegations of behaving inappropriately with female members of staff.

Chief strategist Brendan Cox  and Chief executive Justin Forsyth (both men were senior advisers to former Prime Minister Gordon Brown)  both resign.

In the same year, Save the Children USA presented Tony Blair with a ‘global legacy award’.

More than 500 staff members signed an internal letter condemning the award, calling it “morally reprehensible”.

Asked if Sir Alan Parker had recommended Blair for the award, Warburton said: “It is simply wrong to suggest it was made at Sir Alan Parker’s suggestion. He was not part of the process.”

Sir Alan Parker, who is the chairman of both Save the Children UK and the PR company Brunswick, is an associate of Blair’s, and helped to hire Forsyth as the charity’s chief executive in 2010.

Blair attended Sir Parker’s wedding in 2008.

‘He grabbed her hips, pulled her hair and forced his thumb into her mouth in a sexual way’: Murdered MP Jo Cox’s husband was reported to police over sex assault claim in Harvard bar – nine months before his wife’s death

  • Woman reported Brendan Cox to U.S. police, claiming he assaulted her late at night at Harvard University in 2015; Mr Cox strongly denies the allegation
  • In report filed by police, she claims Mr Cox ‘grabbed [the woman] by the hips several times… forced his thumb into her mouth in a sexual way’; ‘touched her inappropriately’ in a restaurant
  • Complaint came soon after Mr Cox quit as senior exec with Save The Children in 2015 following separate claims of inappropriate behaviour towards staff

A new charity sex scandal erupted last night after it emerged that the husband of murdered Labour MP Jo Cox was once accused of groping a senior US government official.

The woman reported Brendan Cox to American police, claiming he assaulted her late at night at Harvard University – although Mr Cox strongly denies the allegation.

Her complaint came soon after Mr Cox quit as a senior executive with the Save The Children in 2015 following separate claims of inappropriate behaviour towards staff

According to a report filed by police in Cambridge, Massachusetts, the woman claims Mr Cox:

  • ‘Grabbed [the woman] by the hips several times, pulled her hair and forced his thumb into her mouth in a sexual way’;
  • ‘Touched her inappropriately’ in a restaurant and tried to ‘push’ her into drinking more alcohol;
  • ‘Pulled her towards him and touched her stomach’ despite her telling him to stop;
  • Texted her later, asking: ‘Are you touching yourself?’

The woman was so upset she ‘couldn’t even look at Mr Cox’. She also said she ‘feared repercussions’ from him. In the police report, seen by The Mail on Sunday, the ‘incident type/offence’ is described as ‘indecent assault and battery on person 14 or over.’

Mr Cox’s lawyers last night said he denies the ‘spurious allegations’ and says no sexual assault took place.

This newspaper knows the identity of the woman, who is in her thirties, and has decided to protect her anonymity.

The disclosure of the report’s existence comes as Oxfam is reeling from claims it failed to warn other agencies about staff who quietly resigned after being caught using prostitutes in Haiti.

The report – filed by police in Cambridge, Massachusetts – says that on Thursday, October 29, she went to Felipe’s (above), a restaurant in Harvard Square with Mr Cox. ‘While there and on the walk back, Mr Cox touched her inappropriately… touched her “ass” , grabbed her by the hips several times, pulled her hair and forced his thumb into her mouth in a sexual way’

Mr Cox married Jo in 2009 and, since her murder, a week before the EU referendum in 2016, he has focused on raising the couple’s two children and helping to run the Jo Cox Foundation, set up ‘to channel the energy and determination generated by Jo’s life into practical efforts to advance the causes she championed’.

The alleged US incident involving Mr Cox took place in October 2015 weeks after he left his post as senior Save The Children strategist in London following claims of inappropriate behaviour towards female members of staff. Mr Cox denied any wrongdoing there.

Mr Cox attended a two-week course at Harvard’s prestigious John F Kennedy School of Government run by the World Economic Forum, which also organises the annual economic summit in Davos, Switzerland.

Mr Cox, who worked in Downing Street for Prime Minister Gordon Brown in 2010, was named a Young Global Leader by the forum in 2012. He attended the 2015 Harvard course along with nearly 100 international rising-star charity officials and civil servants.

Past Young Global Leaders include David Cameron and Google co-founder Larry Page.

The woman – who was studying at Harvard at the time – complained to police in Cambridge, where the university is located, on November 6.

Under the heading ‘offender,’ the report, dated six days later, says the ‘suspect’ is ‘Brendan Cox, white, about 38’ and that the ‘female victim’, who is named in the file, described her alleged assailant as having brown hair and being 5ft 10in to 6ft tall.’

The report says that on Thursday, October 29, she went to Felipe’s, a restaurant in Harvard Square with Mr Cox.

‘While there and on the walk back, Mr Cox touched her inappropriately… touched her “ass” , grabbed her by the hips several times, pulled her hair and forced his thumb into her mouth in a sexual way.’

He ‘also pulled her towards him and touched her stomach’ even though she had ‘made it clear’ she wanted no sexual contact. ‘She received a text later in the evening from Cox that read “are you touching yourself?”’

The report records the woman’s belief that Mr Cox was trying to ply her with drink. She had had ‘three glasses of wine and one tequila shot’ during the evening and believed ‘Cox was pushing her to consume alcohol’ despite her telling him she did not normally do so.

‘Cox kept saying “Let’s go to your place” or “Let’s go to my place”’ after she had told him she wanted no physical contact.

‘Unwanted touching’ took place between midnight and 1.30am’ and all of it made the woman ‘feel extremely uncomfortable’.

She is also said to have mentioned the incident to Harvard.

It is understood police did not investigate the matter at the request of the woman. The report states she ‘only wanted the incident documented at this time’ and had been ‘reluctant’ to complain to police because she ‘feared repercussions from the suspect.’

Cambridge Police last night confirmed the existence of the case file to The Mail on Sunday.

Mr Cox declined to comment last night, but his lawyers said he denies the ‘spurious allegations’ and says no sexual assault took place.

They added that the fact Mr Cox has never been contacted or questioned by the Massachusetts police was further evidence that the claims were untrue. They also questioned the motivation of the complainant.

That Cox was the subject of a complaint so close to him leaving Save The Children will put renewed focus on British charities as both the Government and the Charity Commission last night announced probes into whether Oxfam covered up the scandal of its workers having orgies with prostitutes after the earthquake in Haiti in 2010.

Chief executive Mark Goldring told ITV News that it was ‘highly likely’ public donations to Oxfam would have fallen if the charity had revealed the scandal. But he denied any cover-up.

The charity says it disclosed sexual misconduct to the regulator.

Last night International Development Secretary Penny Mordaunt hinted the Government could pull Oxfam’s funding, which amounted to £31.7 million last year.

She said: ‘We will not work with any organisation that does not live up to the high standards on safeguarding and protection that we require.’

Oxfam failed to act on reports its workers were raping girls as young as 12, damning report concludes

Senior staff failed to alert law enforcement to allegations aid workers were having sex with minors, a damning Charity Commission report concludes

11 June 2019

Oxfam failed to act on reports children were being sexually abused by its workers in Haiti in 2011, according to a major Charity Commission inquiry which concluded the allegations were “not taken seriously enough”.

A report by the Charity Commission into Oxfam GB, undertaken in response to revelations last year of sexual exploitation by its aid workers, concludes the safety of potential victims took “second place”.

It discloses a series of emails received by the NGO in 2011 alleging some workers were having sex with women and girls, including minors, in refugee camps after their homes were destroyed by the earthquake which devastated the country in 2010.

Oxfam suspected the emails were not genuine, and did not raise them with local police.

In one case, two emails dated 18 July 2011 and 20 August 2011 – both said to be from a 13-year-old Haitian girl – alleged she and a 12-year-old friend had suffered physical abuse and other misconduct at the hands of Oxfam staff.

The emails stated the girls had been engaging in prostitution and the author had been “beaten and used by two men who I know work for you”. It continued: “They also have a boss who works for you and I have not met, but my young friend. She is 12. Has had sex with him.”

The inquiry established that the emails were not raised with any law enforcement at the time and former trustees said they were not made aware of them.

Taking into consideration the “seriousness of the allegations” made in the emails, as well as the “clear risks to the safety and security of those minors” if they were true, the Commission said Oxfam “should have tried harder” and taken more steps at the time to identify the source of the concerns and follow up the allegations.

“Oxfam GB should not have taken the risk with the safety of minors. It should have reported the possibility of two girls being at risk to the local law enforcement authorities … The risk to and impact on the victims appeared to take second place and was not taken seriously enough,” it said.

The Charity Commission said that given the period of time that had passed, it would not be possible to conclude with sufficient certainty whether minors were involved or at risk.

But it raised concerns that Oxfam’s handling of these matters was influenced by a “desire to protection the charity’s reputation and to protect donor and stakeholder relationships”.

Oxfam’s chief executive in 2011 has accepted publicly that further steps could have been taken to determine whether minors were involved in the original allegations.

The findings come nearly a year after it emerged that senior aid workers working for Oxfam had used prostitutes in Haiti. Four members of staff were subsequently dismissed and three, including the country director, resigned.

The report also found that incidents in Haiti in 2011 were “not one-off” and examples of poor conduct by staff and behavioural issues dated back to June 2010.

It said failure to consistently hold people to account for poor behaviour and to ensure robust and consistent action was taken in practice had resulted in a “culture of tolerance of poor behaviour” which “likely resulted in putting victims off speaking up”.

“The risk to, and impact on, the victims appeared to take second place at times and was not taken seriously enough; victims, whistleblowers and those staff who tried to raised concerns were let down,” stated the report.

While the inquiry notes that the NGO has since made “significant progress” in improving weaknesses in its safeguarding, it said “significant further cultural and systematic change” was required to address the issues fully.

In light of the findings, the Charity Commission has exercised its legal powers and issued an official warning to Oxfam on the grounds that there has been some areas of mismanagement in relation to Haiti and its safeguarding governance prior to 2018.

Chair of trustees Caroline Thomson said Oxfam was “deeply sorry for its failure to prevent sexual abuse by its former staff in Haiti” and that it accepted it should have improved its safeguarding “further and faster”.

“What happened in Haiti was shameful and we are deeply sorry. It was a terrible abuse of power, and an affront to the values that Oxfam holds dear,” she said.

“The Commission’s findings are very uncomfortable for Oxfam GB but we accept them. We now know that the 2011 investigation and reporting of what happened in Haiti was flawed; more should have been done to establish whether minors were involved.”

The international development secretary, Rory Stewart, said: “The revelations of last year were horrifying and shone a light on fundamental problems. The Department for International Development [DFID] agrees that we must always put people first.

“DFID has driven reform and our priority remains delivering for the world’s poorest and most vulnerable, while keeping people safe from harm.

“Oxfam is an important British institution that saves lives in some of the world’s toughest places. This is a long-term process, in which there are no easy answers or room for complacency. We will be working closely with both Oxfam and the Charity Commission in the coming weeks.”

Save the Children inquiry over response to harassment claims

Brendan Cox resigned from his role at Save the Children after complaints

Save the Children is to be investigated by the regulator over how it handled serious allegations of misconduct and harassment against senior staff.

The inquiry will focus on how the charity dealt with complaints that Justin Forsyth and Brendan Cox, its former chief executive and policy director respectively, sexually harassed young women employees.

The Charity Commission opened a statutory inquiry after receiving “new information”, it said last night. It is concerned that the charity may have withheld the full extent of allegations from the regulator in 2015 when the alleged incidents were first reported. It is a blow to Save the Children, which has commissioned its own review of its working culture. Kevin Watkins, the chief executive who was a trustee at the time of…

New charity scandal as Save The Children executive quits after women’s complaints of ‘inappropriate behaviour’

Chief strategist Brendan Cox denied the allegations but quit in September

Mr Cox, Save The Children’s director of policy and advocacy,

The women threatened to ‘make a huge fuss’ when the charity did nothing

Another children’s charity was rocked last night after a senior executive at Save The Children resigned over allegations of ‘inappropriate behaviour’.

Chief strategist Brendan Cox denied allegations against him but left in September. The charity’s £160,000-a-year chief executive Justin Forsyth has also resigned for unconnected reasons.

Both were senior advisers to former Prime Minister Gordon Brown. Mr Cox’s wife, Jo, is a Labour MP and former aide to Mr Brown’s wife Sarah. Mrs Cox also runs the Labour Women’s Network where she is ‘equalities and discrimination’ adviser.

An insider said: ‘Some people were unhappy there was no proper internal investigation into the allegations. Brendan packed his bags and left suddenly.’

One individual who has worked with Save The Children said: ‘Several of the women complained about inappropriate behaviour by Brendan. When the charity did nothing about it they threatened to make a huge fuss. Shortly afterwards it was announced that Brendan was leaving. Then we heard Justin was going as well.’

Cox, an international campaigner and activist, began his career in the aftermath of the civil war in the former Yugoslavia working with children affected by the conflict and has a long standing interest in refugee policy. In 2011 he was appointed a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum and in 2012 was selected as one of the top forty young leaders in international development by Devex.

Brendan Cox runs his own blog. He recently played a major role in civil society campaigning for the Sustainable Development Goals as the Director of the Policy and Advocacy at Save the Children. Prior to this he ran a global research project and published a series of reports analyzing global development campaigns and looking at future trends and opportunities.

Mr. Cox previously served as Special Advisor for Africa and International Development to the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. Before that, he was Chief Executive of Crisis Action.

The White Helmets is not a charity, and neither are they ‘the good guys’ despite their white helmets. The White Helmets is the military propaganda arm of the Allies attempt at regime change by destabilising Syria – and this is exactly what is causing the refugee component of Europe’s migrant crisis in the first place.

The White Helmets also does not need our hard-earned cash. It is well-funded by George Soros’s organisations, the UK, the US and the Syrian Opposition Party in its work, which is mainly with the rebel group Jabat al-Nusra, the infamous al-Qaeda affiliate.

The White Helmets are represented PR-wise by Purpose whose co-founder Jeremy Heimans also helped to create Avaaz. Avaaz is a global “pro-democracy” group which has been accused of furthering the US/EU agenda in the Middle East and elsewhere. It is also Avaaz that it encouraging, on social media, a sort of hands-around-the-world show of sympathy for Jo Cox today.

Revealed: Keith Vaz’s job with Iraqi tycoon Auchi

3 Feb 2001

Foreign Office Minister Keith Vaz accepted a job with a company owned by an Iraqi-born tycoon who is wanted for questioning over a massive European corruption scandal, The Observer can reveal.

Vaz, who is facing calls for his resignation over his business relationships, accepted a directorship of the company owned by Nadhmi Auchi, a British multi-millionaire facing inquiries over his role in an oil deal allegedly involving £40m of kickbacks.

Tom Young: Without going into too much detail at the moment, it’s worth noting that Norman Lamont has extensive business ties with Le Cercle Member Nadhmi Auchi[15], most notably:

General Mediterranean Holding:

Lamont was not only close to Auchi through Le Cercle. After leaving government he joined the five-member financial board of Auchi’s General Mediterranean Holding, a Luxembourg-based holding company for more than 120 companies. Anno 2011 Lamont still sits on the board. Jacques Santer, a former finance and prime minister of Luxembourg who is known to be sympathetic to Opus Dei sits on the six-member main board of General Mediterranean Holding.

In 2009 the Belgian Marc Verwilghen joined the main board, which is rather puzzling. Verwilghen headed the independent Dutroux Commission and was among the few officials that were open to the information in X-Dossiers which implicated Belgium’s elite in various child abuse rings.’

Now by some accounts Leon Brittan was involved in abuse and abuse images during his time in Brussels, which may be the reason I attracted Nick Clegg‘s attention… it could also be regarding the Privy Council meeting last year where key Le Cercle member Julian Lewis was sworn into the Privy Council:

It’s also well worth noting that along with the head of the (very iffy) inquiry into the Dutroux affair in Belgium, General Mediterranean Holdings board of directors has also included Keith Vaz [33], who chairs the Home Affairs Select Committee and has been pivotal in determining the suitability of candidates as chair of the UK independent inquiry into Child Abuse.
Of course, questions still remain about Vaz’s time on the councils of Richmond and Islington whilst abuse was occurring, as well as his prior support of Greville Janner.

I’ll expose further ties soon, along with showing how this all ties into the very same networks involved in the Contra Affair which led to N.W.A Music getting into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and the careers of Dr Dre, Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, 50 Cent, JAY Z, Beyoncé, Rihanna, Kendrick Lamar and many others…

We’ll also work towards taking a look at Aegis Defence Services, who along with ties to Le Cercle, appear to have several links to a great deal of suspicious activity… on that note, this previous post regarding Aegis’ Chairman Nicholas Soames, Equerry to Prince Charles during the period he, Lord Mountbatten and Jimmy Savile were rubbing shoulders.”

Back to Clement Freud, the link to Belgium provides another possible lead in the Madeline McCann case, as detailed here:

Clement Freud shared an office with Cyril Smith [1]

Cyril Smith and his friends Jimmy Savile and Leon Brittan associated with Keith Harding, a key member of the Paedophile Information Exchange. [6] Jeremy Thorpe, a close associate of Clement Freud was also involved.

Keith Harding was based in Islington, an area with deep ties to Organized Child Abuse, with extensive links to abuse in both Lambeth and Jersey.[7][8]

Keith Harding went on to become Worshipful Master of the Mercurius Masonic Lodge closely associated with GCHQ[9]

Clement Freud’s Son, Matthew Freud[10] is involved with the ‘Notting Hill Set'[11], many members of which including David Cameron are in the close circle of former Home Secretary Michael Howard

In the mid 1990s, whilst Michael Howard was Home Secretary, the Home Office received a dossier detailing abuse by Greville Janner, on which no substantial action was taken. This was at least the 4th warning they had received. [12]

It’s worth noting that around this time that current Prime Minister David Cameron and Patrick Rock, who has recently been found guilty of making indecent images of children[13], were working together as Political Advisors to Michael Howard[14].

Michael Howard is a member of the highly secretive organization ‘Le Cercle'[15], which has deep ties to many intelligence agencies and has a long history of links to many of those involved with organized child abuse, along with shadowy covert acts such as media propaganda, arms dealing and on the ground military action, generally funded by offshore shell companies.

Michael Howard is a long time friend of Jonathan Aitken, global arms dealer and one time head of Le Cercle.[15]

(for more on Aitken and his ties to the current speaker of the House of Commons, John Bercow, see here: https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=10155825692365032&id=697345031)

Another previous head of Le Cercle, and mentor of Jonathan Aitken, Julian Amery [16]was deeply involved in the ‘Bank of Credit and Commerce International’ an extremely shadowy bank which was set up with participation by George H. W. Bush and members of the Safari Club.

The BCCI was heavily involved with US and Saudi funds during Operation Cyclone and the early stages of Al-Qaeda… Osama Bin Laden had extensive investments in the BCCI.[17]

When the terms for the Al-Yamamah arms deal [18] were set up, Michael Howard was Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State at the Department of Trade and Industry with responsibility for regulating the financial dealings of the City of London. This junior post became very important, as he oversaw the BigBang introduction of new technology in 1986. [19]….

Ties Between the Bush Family and Osama bin Laden

Questions Linger About Bushes and BCCI

The link between Hussein and Bin Laden was their banker, BCCI. But the link went beyond the dictator and the jihadist – it passed through Saudi Arabia and stretched all the way to George W. Bush and his father.

BCCI was the Bank of Credit and Commerce International, a dirty offshore bank that then-president Ronald Reagan’s Central Intelligence Agency used to run guns to Hussein, finance Osama bin Laden, move money in the illegal Iran-Contra operation and carry out other “agency” black ops. The Bushes also benefited privately; one of the bank’s largest Saudi investors helped bail out George W. Bush’s troubled oil investments.

BCCI was founded in 1972 by a Pakistani banker, Agha Hasan Abedi, with the support of Sheik Zayed bin Sultan al Nahyan, ruler of Abu Dhabi and head of the United Arab Emirates. Its corporate strategy was money laundering. It became the banker for drug and arms traffickers, corrupt officials, financial fraudsters, dictators and terrorists.

The CIA used BCCI Islamabad and other branches in Pakistan to funnel some of the two billion dollars that Washington sent to Osama bin Laden’s Mujahadeen to help fight the Soviets in Afghanistan. It moved the cash the Pakistani military and government officials skimmed from U.S. aid to the Mujahadeen. It also moved money as required by the Saudi intelligence services.

Jonathan Aitken

In 2001 the Purdews of Champneys (friends of Sir Jimmy Savile and Keith Vaz) briefly acquired Inglewood health hydro from agents of Saudi prince Mohammed bin Fahd. Inglewood had been the scene of allegations, published in the Guardian six years earlier, that then defence minister Jonathan Aitken, a director of the spa, had tried to arrange girls for a Saudi prince and his entourage.

The report led to the notorious libel action brought by Aitken ultimately culminating in his being sentenced to jail for perjury.

Former Tory MP Jonathan Aitken, once a director of Champneys Inglewood. He was accused by former employees of acting as a ‘pimp’ by requesting call girls, once for a sheikh and once for a group of Arabs.

Then he was embroiled in a legal dispute with former brothel keeper Lindi ‘Miss Whiplash’ St Clair, who claimed that she was thrown out of Inglewood partway through a course.

And though Aitken met his future wife Lolicia at Inglewood, he also cheated on her with bondage prostitute Paula Strudwick, telling her to collect the right sort of birch branches from the woods outside the estate for sadomasochistic sex games. You’d have thought someone would have twigged what was going on.

She will replace Justin Forsyth, who announced his departure from Save the Children UK in October.

In Westminster, meanwhile, the couple’s enigmatic son and heir was threatening what sounded like a parliamentary coup in which MPs will effectively ignore a win for Brexit if the British public has the temerity to vote against the family’s wish.

All in all, the trio is expelling a lot of hot air for the cause. And the family in question? It could only, of course, be the Kinnocks.

Former Labour leader Lord Kinnock of Bedwellty, his wife Lady Kinnock of Holyhead and son Stephen Kinnock, Labour MP for Aberavon, have all been busy banging the drum for Remain.

For much of the time since 2005, the couple have not lived in the same country, let alone the same house. Stephen Kinnock had taken up British Council posts in West Africa and Russia, and in 2009 became a director of the World Economic Forum, an £110,000-per-annum job which necessitated him being based in Geneva, Switzerland.

Jo Cox Charity work

Jo Cox worked for several charities before entering parliament at the general election last year, including Oxfam, which employed her for about eight years, Save the Children, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the NSPCC.

Immediately before she was elected to Parliament in May 2015, Jo Cox worked at the Freedom Fund, an anti-slavery organization, and at the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, according to a biography on her website.

In 2001, she started working for Oxfam and quickly became head of the charity’s Brussels office, where Mr Cairns said she dealt with “one humanitarian crisis after another”.

Talking to the Huffington Post last year, Mrs Cox herself said: “I would jump on a plane and be in Kabul one week and then Darfur the next.”

She joined Oxfam GB as head of advocacy in 2005 and was a “passionate advocate on humanitarian issues, including the conflicts in Darfur and the Democratic Republic of Congo”, the charity said.

This led to her being appointed in 2007 as head of humanitarian campaigns for Oxfam International in New York, a position she held for two years.

Cox worked for Oxfam GB and Oxfam International between 2001 and 2009 in a variety of roles, including as head of its Brussels office, where she led the charity’s campaign for trade reform.

In 2007, she moved to Oxfam’s New York office and became head of humanitarian campaigning around the world until 2009.

(She campaigned for Obama’s 2008 presidential candidacy)

Mr Cairns said she was instrumental in the publication of a “landmark book” called For a Safer Tomorrow, which analysed how the world’s humanitarian policies were changing.

Mrs Cox left Oxfam in 2009 and became the director of ex-Prime Minister Gordon Brown’s wife Sarah’s Maternal Mortality Campaign, which campaigns for women’s right in the developing world.

And even when she moved into politics, she continued to work as a strategy consultant for Save the Children and then the NSPCC.

Baroness Glenys Kinnock urges North-East woman to vote to remain in Europe

1 Jun 2016

Glenys Kinnock, the life peer, who served as Minister for Europe as well as Foreign Office Minister for Africa and the United Nations

During her speech, she referred to her experience as co-President of the European Parliament’s influential EU-Africa, Caribbean, Pacific Joint Parliamentary Assembly.

Baroness Kinnock said: “The European Union has a hidden but vital role coordinating the fight against poverty and disease by promoting international development as well as human rights around the world – especially to support gender equality.

“Tears flowed when Bono introduced his special recording of Ordinary Love that U2 had put together just days ago in LA. Bono and Mrs Cox had worked together on the Make Poverty History campaign.”

Was the murder of Jo Cox a conspiracy?

‘Child Rapist & Killer Sidney Cooke is not a threat to children’ – Paddy Ashdown

Greediest snouts in the EU trough: Not sure how to vote? Read about the stinking wealth and hypocrisy of those Brussels fat cats the Kinnocks and it may help you decide

  • This week Neil Kinnock told a rally that Brexit promises ‘didn’t add up’
  • His son Stephen and wife Glenys also campaigning for Remain
  • But 41 years ago Kinnock was leading figure in campaign for Britain to leave the European Economic Community
  • Family members have all benefited from the EU gravy train

Kinnock’s second in a row — he and his family have existed in a lucrative public sector bubble, notably in relation to the European Union; highly paid, publicly funded jobs followed by mega-pensions for the parents, and what amounted to sinecures for their children (their daughter Rachel has also enjoyed the fruits of the public purse).

The figures are astonishing. Between them Lord and Lady Kinnock are entitled to draw six publicly funded pensions, with a total income estimated to be worth around £250,000 a year. Some of that comes directly from the British taxpayer. But the key to the riches was their Damascene conversion from Europhobes to Eurocrats. Former school teacher Glenys Kinnock — that original classroom profession provides one of her pensions — was the first to reach Brussels. In 1994 she was elected to the European Parliament as the MEP for South Wales East. It was the safest European seat in the country.

Rachel Kinnock, now 44, was taken on as a member of staff by her mother while she was an MEP in Brussels. The post was funded by Welsh taxpayers.

Rachel Kinnock became ‘events manager’ for Ed Miliband

When Lady Kinnock returned to London in 2009, a position was found for Rachel on Prime Minister Gordon Brown’s political staff. When he lost the 2010 election and stepped down from politics, Rachel Kinnock became ‘events manager’ for Ed Miliband.

We all know how his campaign to become PM ended, though Rachel is still being tipped to be yet another Kinnock Labour MP.

Stephen Kinnock: As a Cambridge modern languages graduate he attended the College of Europe in Bruges, described as atraining ground for the Eurocratic elite’. It was there that he met academic’s daughter Helle Thorning-Schmidt

As for Stephen Kinnock’s wife, she is now tipped to become an EU Commissioner. So whatever the result on June 23, another generation of Kinnocks could be sitting in the first-class compartment of the EU gravy train.

They may be aggressively campaigning for Remain, but given the extraordinary largesse they’ve received from taxpayers — especially via Brussels — could the Kinnocks be the family that persuades Britain to vote Leave?

Norman Lamont’s Dominatrix, Brothel Madam – Miss Whiplash

1985  – Norman Lamont (now Baron Lamont Of Lerwick) MP

In June 1991, Norman Lamont, the then Chancellor of the Exchequer, was investigated for using taxpayers’ money to handle the fall-out from press stories concerning Miss Whiplash, who was using a flat he owned

What price justice? There is a savage irony in the news that the Chancellor, Norman Lamont, was given a 4700 government hand-out to pay his private legal bills at the same time as the Treasury had imposed the deepest cuts in legal aid. The result of the latter is to deny millions of people access to affordable justice.

(Later articles refer to Lamont’s “Miss Whiplash” as Lindi St Clair)

Peter Maurice Wright (9 August 1916 – 27 April 1995) was the principal scientific officer for MI5, the British counter-intelligence agency, noted for writing the controversial book Spycatcher

Spycatcher was part memoir, part exposé of what Wright claimed were serious institutional failings in MI5 and his subsequent investigations into those. He is said to have been influenced in his counterespionage activity by James Jesus Angleton, the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) counterintelligence chief from 1954 to 1975.[1]

During the trial a witness, Sir Robert Armstrong, famously coined (or at least brought back to life) the phrase “Economical with the truth” in response to Wright’s claim that he was telling the truth.[13]

Former Miss Whiplash, aka Lindi St Clair,  revealed sex-fiend Jimmy Savile paid her and an underage pal £3 for unprotected sex in the 60s.

Lindi, now 60, was 15 when she and a 13-year-old friend were handed the coins by the warped Jim’ll Fix It presenter who took them to his grubby bedsit for a seedy threesome.

As a bankrupt, age 44, I married a 75 year old male-to-female transsexual named Marion Wells. We wed at Eastbourne registry office in 1995. Journalists from The Sunday People newspaper attended the service. Marion was very wealthy and gave me all his/her money.

A European human-rights court Wednesday condemned Britain

The case before the European Court of Human Rights, based in Strasbourg, stemmed from a 1993 incident in which a man severely beat his stepson, who was 8-years old at the time, with a three-feet long cane. The man was charged with assault but was acquitted after arguing the beating amounted to “reasonable punishment,” a permissible defense under British law.

The case is likely to lead to a ban on parents severely beating their children, although the UK Government says smacking is a separate issue

The nine judges at the court ruled unanimously that Britain had violated a provision of the European Human Rights Convention that bars torture or treatment that is inhuman or degrading.

The decision was hailed by children’s rights activists.

But William Hague, leader of the Conservative opposition, said the ruling amounted to interference in family life.

Conservative leader William Hague told BBC Radio 2’s Jimmy Young Show:

“We’ve taken the nanny state too far when we have to have court rulings about what people can do with their own children in their own home.

Norman Lamont held key political appointments at crucial times:– he became UK Minister for Defence Procurement just in time to sign the Al-Yamamah arms deal‎ and he was Chancellor of the Exchequer when Black Wednesday transferred around £3B from UK taxpayers to currency traders.

Before entering Parliament he worked for N M Rothschild & Sons, the investment bank, and became director of Rothschild Asset Management.

Since 1996 Lamont has been Chairman of Le Cercle, a foreign policy Club – Le Cercle Chairman as of 13 October 2008 but not as of April 2013.

The manner in which he obtained the job says much about how men of Cameron’s background tend to progress through life. The future Tory leader, whose credentials at Conservative central office were already well-established after periods working for Norman Lamont and Michael Howard, believed a stint in the private sector would benefit his political career.

Carlton’s head office was a Tory enclave at a time when the party was facing political extinction. Rachel Whetstone, who worked for Norman Lamont along with Cameron,  was also based there for a time;

she is now married to Cameron’s chief policy advisor, Steve Hilton.

Jeremy Heywood “Sir Cover-Up” – PPS to Norman Lamont

Jeremy Heywood  (Sir Cover-Up) joined HM Treasury in 1992 and became the Principal Private Secretary to Chancellor Norman Lamont at the age of 30, having to help mitigate the fallout from Black Wednesday after less than a month in the job.

Heywood remained in this role throughout the 1990s under Chancellors Kenneth Clarke and Gordon Brown before being promoted to be the Principal Private Secretary to Prime Minister Tony Blair in 1999.

He stayed in this position until 2003, when he left the civil service in the wake of the Hutton Inquiry where it emerged that Heywood claimed to have never minuted meetings in the Prime Ministerial offices about Dr David Kelly, a job he was required to do.

The Hutton Inquiry was a 2003 judicial inquiry in the UK chaired by Lord Hutton, who was appointed by the Labour government to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death of David Kelly, a biological warfare expert and former UN weapons inspector in Iraq.

Sir Jeremy has also been criticised in his current role as Cabinet Secretary, in which capacity he has been involved in protracted arguments about the publication of confidential documents relating to the Chilcot inquiry.

More recently:  Jeremy Heywood’s involvement in the Patrick Rock case

Cameron aide who allegedly made indecent images of children

Patrick Rock’s seniority was demonstrated by the fact that he was one of only three advisers given his own private office in No 10.

On the authority of the CPS, the National Crime Agency has today charged Patrick Rock, 63, a former Whitehall adviser, with making indecent images of children and possession of 59 indecent images of children.

David Cameron is under pressure to explain whether his senior aide Patrick Rock was tipped off by Downing Street that he was accused of an offence related to child abuse images hours before his arrest by police.

accused Number 10 late Tuesday of a “lack of transparency” about the senior adviser’s resignation and subsequent arrest, which took place nearly three weeks ago but only became public after a leak to a newspaper.

Sir Cover Up – Jeremy Heywood, Ed Llewellyn and David Cameron

It also emerged that the aide (Patrick Rock) was previously accused of “inappropriate behaviour” by a colleague and this incident was investigated by his line manager, Ed Llewellyn, Cameron’s chief of staff, who is also an old friend of Rock’s.

Ed Llewellyn – He has served Cameron for a decade…If you google his name, you discover next to nothing about him: just the repetition of the same bare facts.

No profile of him seems to have been written: a singular achievement when one considers he is one of the most influential men in the country.

After all, Llewellyn had not only worked, in Bosnia, for Ashdown,… but is on friendly terms, since working in Brussels for Patten, with Miriam Gonzalez Durantez, wife of the current Lib Dem leader, Nick Clegg.

After leaving Oxford, Ed Llewellyn was employed as an aide to former Governor Chris Patten in Hong Kong, as Patten’s ‘Chef de Cabinet’

Ed Llewellyn’s last job before working for Cameron was as an aide to “viceroy” Paddy Ashdown aka “Paddy Pantsdown“in Bosnia.

Mar 2014    It was discovered that Patrick  Rock had been arrested on the charges of child abuse image claims.

June 2014   Rock was charged with three counts of making an indecent photograph of a child in August 2013

Cameron lines up top job for Eton friend Ed Llewellyn: Prime Minister promises plum diplomatic role for old school chum

Old Etonian Mr Llewellyn  has known Mr Cameron since school and the pair were close colleagues at  Conservative Central Office  in the early 1990s.

14 May 2015   Llewellyn was sworn of the Privy Council

Ed Llewellyn is Cameron's chief chum. But does this qualify him to be a member of the Privy Council?

Why has David Cameron appointed his chum Ed Llewellyn to the Privy Council?

Why should an adviser be given this role?

Privy Councillors are almost all MPs (or ex-MPs), peers or judges.  But it has not, until now, been a reward for members of a political entourage.

Questions over Patrick Rock arrest amid cover-up claims:

Ashworth set out his concerns in a letter to Sir Jeremy Heywood, the cabinet secretary, after Heywood Cameron’s spokesman, refused to answer a series of questions about events leading up to Rock’s arrest and the handling of a separate claim against him of sexual harassment.

October 16, 2015

A former aide to David Cameron accused of possessing child pornography will face trial in May next year. Patrick Rock, 64, allegedly downloaded 62 indecent images depicting females who appear to be between 10 and 14 posing erotically. He charged with six offences of making an indecent photographs of a child of and one offence of possession of 56 indecent images of children. Described as Cameron’s policy fixer, Rock was a key member of the Prime Minister’s inner circle at Downing Street, and had been involved in drawing up government policy on internet porn. –

 photo rock new look_zpsy94aqyvv.jpg

The court heard that 62 images, assessed as being Level C, had been found on an iPad in North Carolina. As a British national Rock can be charged in the UK for these offences even though the images are held in America.

District Judge John Zani said he was transferring the case to Southwark crown court because of the “complexity” it involved.

The court also heard that Rock, who was part of David Cameron’s “inner circle” before his resignation, is being monitored by a welfare officer appointed by Downing Street “for his own protection”.

He had known Mr Cameron since working alongside him in the Nineties for then home secretary Michael Howard. Rock, of Fulham

The indecent images which form the subject of the charges were found on an iPad which was forensically examined. It was seized from an address in North Carolina in America where Rock had been living and working until recently.

Wonder what work the UK government/Downing St had Rock working on in the North Carolina area?

Patrick Rock knows where the skeletons are buried

Patrick Rock was political correspondence secretary in the government of Margaret Thatcher.

He went on to operate as special adviser to various ministers, including service as a special adviser to Michael Howard in the late 1990s, when David Cameron was also advising Howard

Patrick Rock later worked in Brussels under Chris Patten, with special responsibility for the western Balkans, before later being brought back into government in 2011 as a Downing Street special advisor, taking on the title of deputy director of policy.

Cameron had last year been reportedly poised to recognise Patrick Rock’s service with a peerage.

Patrick Rock, who has been arrested on suspicion of an offence relating to child abuse imagery, may not be a household name, but he has been a powerful figure in the upper strata of the Conservative Party for decades.

Patrick Rock and David Cameron have known each other for many years.

David Cameron and Patrick Rock first worked together as special advisers to Conservative minister Michael Howard in the late 1990s.

Indeed, such was the strength of their relationship that Mr Cameron brought him back into Downing Street in 2011, appointing him deputy head of the influential No 10 policy unit.

Before the Gulf war changed the commercial network of the region for ever, Auchi set up several multi-million pound deals within Iraq.

His extraordinary global business deals have brought him to the attention of investigators in two of the most dramatic corruption scandals post-war Europe has seen.

Mr Djoughdem used to run infamous high end nightclub Wall St. which was known for being a centre of cocaine dealing, and frequented by celebrities including Prince and Dodi Al-Fayed, lover of Princess Diana.

Darius, Koslowski, one of Djoughdem’s former bouncers, a former bodyguard of Prince, boasts regularly about drugs and guns online.

These revelations will raise fresh questions about the Cabinet Minister’s judgement and suitability for office, particularly in regards to whether Parliamentary security was jeopardized by information passing from him to criminal elements.

Today, again, the Krays have cropped up in the Whittingdale case. A couple also linked to Boothby, Cliff Richard and Savile.

To some, he’s a gadfly; to others, he’s one of the most influential figures of our age. Lord Wyatt of Weeford – close friend of Maggie, Rupert and the Queen Mum – looks back on a lifetime of courting the rich and powerful

In the 1980s, the Sunday Telegraph called Woodrow Wyatt “the most influential person of our age” – reflecting both his closeness to the Prime Minister, and his almost cabalistic relationship with the other person who most defined that period: Rupert Murdoch. More than anyone else, Wyatt demonstrates the way in which those two great enemies of the Establishment none the less developed an Establishment of their own.

Lord and Lady Wyatt’s daughter Petronella is assistant editor of the Spectator. She was appointed by the magazine’s editor, Frank Johnson

Petronella – it was her mother, Verushka, widow of the late Lord Wyatt of Weeford, who briefed journalists about the alleged affair between Petsy and the Tory MP Boris Johnson, her editor at The Spectator magazine.

Such an unusual approach was always forgiven, though, for Petsy was a hugely popular figure within the Telegraph group (she later edited The Sunday Telegraph’s Mandrake column before moving to The Spectator). She was considered to live an impossibly glamorous life and was much lusted after by male staff, particularly the older ones. She always seemed to be at gatherings thrown by the powerful, singing for Norman Lamont, then the Chancellor, at his 50th birthday party. She is still to be seen at soirées given by the likes of the historian Flora Fraser, granddaughter of the late Lord Longford, or Jonathan Aitken.

After Max Clifford told her that “Carey from the Church of England” had called him for advice, the Spectator ran the line “The Archbishop calls on Max” on the cover. Unfortunately, Clifford had been referring to the then Archbishop of Canterbury’s son Andrew, not George.

Sir Simon Hornby,  (older brother of paedophile Charles Hornby) had seven years previously married the Queen Mother’s racehorse trainer’s daughter, Sharon Cazalet, in a star studded wedding. The Queen Mother, Princess Margaret, Noel Coward, Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton are all on film walking into a tiny village church in Shipbourne in Kent for the occasion.[ii] At the Cazalet family home Fairlawnes in Kent, the Queen Mother had often been a guest, as well as the historian Elizabeth Longford (nee Harman) and her husband, Labour Peer, Lord Frank Longford
