Previously unseen documents from the Cabinet Office reveal the extent of unease about the BBC presenter, almost three decades before he was finally unmasked as a predatory paedophile.
Mrs Thatcher eventually succeeded in her quest and the DJ and Jim’ll Fix It presenter was made Sir Jimmy Savile in 1990, a month after she left Downing Street.
Previous government correspondence has revealed that Savile wrote to Mrs Thatcher in 1980 and she invited him to lunch at Chequers.
She subsequently spent 11 consecutive New Year’s Eves with him and oversaw his eventual knighthood in 1990.
‘The last time Jimmy was seen going through the gates of Downing Street he was dressed for the occasion. He was dressed in running shoes and puffing away on a cigar. He has quite the most distinctive approach to fitness training, some might even say it was a little eccentric, but then so many great Britons have had a touch of eccentricity about them and Jimmy is at Leeds General Infirmary, Stoke Mandeville and Broadmoor, to name only three institutions which have benefitted from his charity compassion. Miner, wrestler, dancehall manager, disc jockey, hospital porter, fund raiser, performer of good works, Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, Knight of the Realm, Jimmy, I and millions more salute you. God bless you.’ It was signed ‘Margaret Thatcher’.
There had long been rumours about the BBC’s McCulloch / Uncle Mac – who would “interfere” with children

According to a contemporary report in the Daily Mirror, he ‘besieged’ the management of the BBC to find out if permission would be given.
The Queen’s speech marked the start of a monthly series of features on Children’s Hour dedicated to children in war time.
These included messages from parents and brothers and sisters to children who had gone to live in America.
The Daily Mirror wrote on 9 October, 1940: “When Uncle Mac thought of starting a new service for the children who had been evacuated to Canada, America and Australia, he decided at once that Princess Elizabeth was the one person to introduce this once-a-week feature of the Children’s Hour.
“The Princess has never broadcast before but this did not deter Uncle Mac.
“He besieged the big noises in the BBC and when they wondered whether permission would be given, he turned his attention to the Ministry of Information, and pointed out how appropriate such a broadcast would be.”
The King agreed, despite concerns that Princess Elizabeth was too young.

I heard the other day – How did Savile get away with it for so long as if it was some sort of mystery.
I would rephrase it –How could someone who was so closely linked with the aristocracy such as ( Mountbatten and Prince Charles), someone closely linked with so many senior police officers in the UK, So close to senior politicians that for example he spent several Xmas’s with Former PM Thatcher, someone close to the Former PM Ted Heath, knowing that someone with such links would of course be vetted by security services. How could someone like that get away with sexually abusing children for all that time?
If after that and people still don’t know the answer then there is no hope for them.
Why is Savile so important … the key if you like
His connections, he just seems to be in so many places where child abuse occurred or linked to high profile people who have or are claimed to have abused children
He was more than just a stand alone child abuser. He was a procurer, a fixer for elite paedophiles
He is a gateway to unravelling some of the elite paedophile rings that operated at that time.

Meanwhile, in New Zealand, there have been such newspaper headlines as, “‘Uncle Dickie’ the Sex Pervert” (N.Z. Truth, Sept. 8, 1987), since Mountbatten’s former chauffeur, Norman Nield, started revealing details of the late Lord Mountbatten’s alleged sexual exploitation of boys.

Lord Louis was a great grandson of Queen Victoria and the uncle of Prince Philip (consort of Queen Elizabeth II). Mountbatten was also a promiscuous bisexual who was famously rumored to have had an affair with Edward VIII (who was Prince of Wales at the time) when he accompanied him on his Empire tours (see photo above).
The Queen. Like any human being, she is subject to the influence of those around her. While he lived, Lord Mountbatten was a persuasive counsellor, and he formulated the plan for Prince Charles’s unusually rigorous education.

The Royal Court Theatre in London presented the play in October 1984
It hinted Margaret Thatcher had conspired with the police to cover up both the rape of an adult woman and an underage child by a cabinet minister.
Okay, it was fiction
But a fiction with its roots very much based in reality.
Indeed, the director of the play Mike Bradwell told us the play was “inspired by a series of rumours/allegations going around at the time involving Leon Brittan and others.
“Gordon Newman had sources in both the House and the Met [Police]. I met them.”

“Danny Boyle and Simon Curtis didn’t like it very much but Max (Stafford-Clark, artistic director) and I did.”
That’s Oscar-winning Danny Boyle and Simon “My Week With Marilyn” Curtis, who were both working at the theatre at the time.
The disquiet was understandable, as the satire was very close to the bone.
The play starred TV favourite Richard Wilson as the Attorney General – a character who after bungling the handling of a husband and wife rape prosecution case became guilty of raping both his prostitute mistress and son’s underage girlfriend.
The character had evidence of corruption within the police force and was angling for prosecution before his horrendous criminal acts took place in the play.
Consequently of course, the prosecution of the corruption case then singularly failed to happen.
Along the way, the character’s own wife had been made pregnant by the Tory party chairman – a character directly inspired by Cecil Parkinson, a former secretary of state for trade and industry, who had resigned the previous year after making getting his secretary pregnant.

In the end of this dark parable the status quo is maintained
The Attorney General character is never prosecuted and is made Lord Chancellor, the prostitute mistress is sectioned and the Tory father of the raped child is given a safe seat.
Prime Minister “Margaret” even persuades the Parkinson-inspired character to get an abortion for his mistress, the wife of the attorney general.
Max-Stafford Clark, the artist director of the Royal Court Theatre at the time, was told by the incoming chair of the board Matthew Evans “Max, I thought it was absolutely terrible, obvious and naive.”
Bradwell remembers Evans “hated the play”.
Clearly it wasn’t to all tastes. It was dark as hell, utterly Machiavellian in its plotting and played out like the kind of horrific Jacobean tragedy where those wronged were robbed of any recourse. It was even considered by reviewers at the time as a kind of lefty conspiracy theory.
Mike Bradwell tells us “I remember that the general tone [of the reviews] was that this was all a bit far-fetched.”
Even so, the director of public prosecution sent representatives to the first preview of An Honourable Trade to see if the theatre should be prosecuted.
Noted QC Michael Mansfield said that there might be a case to answer over the depiction of Thatcher.
The government would never sue, however, because it would draw attention to the play and, as Mike Bradwell said, “make them look like tw*ts.”
He said: “Mike Mansfield advised us that it probably was (libellous) but correctly assumed that the government would take no action not wishing to open a particularly sordid can of worms.”
Of course this was in 1984 and how high the conspiracy went was just a guess
What’s compelling now, as recent investigations have shown, is how close to fact the idea of a government cover-up might have been.
It was only last year that Leon Brittan became mired in the historical sexual abuse scandal after claims that he was handed a dossier containing details of the abuse allegations in the 1980s which he promptly “lost”.
He was accused of failing to act on the evidence passed to him by Tory MP Geoffrey Dickens in 1983. He claimed to have passed it on to the authorities but it has vanished and the overwhelmed team investigating the historic abuse accusations have not yet recovered it.
Some sources claim up to 16 high profile figures were due to be arrested but the night before the swoop was meant to take place the surveillance and operation was allegedly mysteriously cancelled.
It’s definitely enough to make you suspect stuff was going on. The idea that Newman was writing a fiction based on things he had heard from sources within the Houses of Parliament is quite incredible.
So why did the play fail despite the legal interest it generated at the time?
Mike Bradwell explains: “The day after press night, Thatcher and the cabinet were blown up by the IRA in Brighton rendering our modest piece a bit of a damp sqib.
“There was total sympathy for Thatcher so whatever the play said would have made no difference.”
Understandably, the IRA bombing of the Tory Party conference was one of the years biggest news stories. Lots of other news took a back seat.
As such, an argument about a play in a new writing theatre in West London failed to set the front pages alight.
Then, as the years passed by, something which actually told a kind of truth though fiction and satire slowly disappeared from the memory.
Maybe now, as it has been proven creepily accurate, it’s time for a theatre to mount a revival?

The original officer in charge of the case admitted he was ‘inexperienced’ in rape investigations;
He made an ‘erroneous’ early decision that no offence could have taken place because of ‘his perceived issues with consent’, and there were ‘ample’ grounds to interview Brittan;
The eventual interview with Brittan by a second team of detectives was not tape-recorded because of ‘equipment failure’ – a ‘regrettable’ mistake that had a ‘significant impact’ on its ‘depth and quality’;
An independent assessment of the case should have been carried out to provide ‘rigour and integrity’ as it involved ‘very senior members of the British Establishment’.
However, the review, ordered by the Met and carried out by Dorset’s Deputy Chief Constable James Vaughan, claimed the investigation ‘broadly’ met police standards and was ‘launched in good faith against a credible account provided by a compelling witness’.
Some critics claim the review is a ‘whitewash’ that clears Sir Bernard and instead blames the original detective, DCI Paul Settle, who was sidelined.
Files were left incomplete and important decisions made by junior figures, the report claims.
The errors will pile further pressure on the Met’s beleaguered chief, Sir Bernard Hogan-Howe, who is facing growing calls to quit over his force’s disastrous handling of historic sex abuse claims.

A paedophile told an undercover police officer that they could make millions of pounds raping children on camera for ‘top political people,’ a court heard.
Gihan Muthukumarana, 28, claimed they could sell the film for £10m if they ‘got rid’ of the young girls afterwards by dissolving them in barrels of acid, it is claimed.
He was reported to the police after he told escort about his plans while regularly meeting her for sex at the Master Robert Hotel, in Hownslow, near Heathrow.
Gihan Muthukumarana, it is claimed, had stated his intention to kidnap ten girls from care homes before abusing them on camera, killing them and then disposing of their bodies in vats of acid for the viewing ‘pleasure’ of top businessmen and politicians.
The trial was heard in court 11 at Southwark Crown Court, and ended on 13th February 2018.

Gihan Muthukumarana was reported to the police after he told an escort about his plans while regularly meeting her for sex at the Master Robert Hotel in Hounslow, West London, between April and November 2015.
Prosecutor Catherine Farrelly told Southwark Crown Court: ‘During the course of a number of these meetings the defendant made a number of comments that began to cause increasing concern.
‘One was he had previously slept with a twelve-year old, which he said had happened outside the UK.
‘In September 2015 he told her that he had a business proposition that he wanted to discuss at the end of their session.
‘He tries to persuade the escort to participate in video recorded child abuse.
‘He then told her that he had contacts in arranging for these things to happen.
‘Whilst intercourse was taking place the defendant made comments encouraging her to think about “f*cking young girls.”‘
The escort eventually stopped answering his calls and reported him to the Crimestoppers charity on 29 November 2015.
Muthukumarana told the undercover officer the money would be ‘ridiculously big’ and suggested she take alcohol or drugs beforehand because ‘it makes you extra heartless’, the court heard. He also gave her the postcode of a leisure centre in St Albans where the abuse could take place at night.In a phone call recording played to the court, Muthukumarana said: ‘The people paying us to do what we’re doing are very high up political people. We will be masked up and it will be on webcam.’Muthukumarana was arrested on 4 February 2016 at his home address in Leicester and child abuse images were found on his computer.
The question for us all is how do we stop this and protect children against unthinkable and fiendish acts of seemingly deranged and evil adults….,we need to address and challenge the authorities under which auspices these crimes are committed be they churches, parliaments, hospitals ,tv studios , children’s homes or nurseries and bring down those who sit in positions of power and abuse that privilege to the detriment of children, parents, families and societies and communities at large.

Sending the children off to private school has long been the most notable hypocrisy of the leftish middle class, and of some of the public schools’ most famous detractors. Nadine Dorries (Halewood Grange Comprehensive), the rightwing Conservative MP whose outburst against “arrogant posh boys” David Cameron (Eton, Oxford) and George Osborne (St Paul’s, Oxford), gives this book its title, sent both her daughters to Ampleforth, where they have learnt “very good manners”. Paul Weller, whose wry bitterness as a member of the excluded class wrote the Jam’s song Eton Rifles, sent his children to public school. Eton might well have taken the little Wellers, I imagine, for about £35,000 a year: among the wiser self-preservation systems of the schools is the fact that they will allow some entry from outside the establishment. Otherwise we would have smashed them to the ground decades ago, wouldn’t we?
Verkaik’s larger theme is the toxification of British public life by the private school system and the injustice and inequality that educational apartheid based on wealth entails. But the blatant theft of public resources is the book’s sharpest point. From the very beginning the institutions – including St Paul’s, Winchester and Eton – have been hijacked by the wealthy, though they were plainly set up to benefit the poor.
Edinburgh’s Fettes college, a 19th-century invention, was built on the money of a merchant, Sir William Fettes, who left his fortune specifically for the education of the city. His executors instead constructed a gothic horror that sits behind high fences, with its great spire thrusting a finger up at the rest of the city. It has a poor record when it comes to sharing facilities or giving means-tested bursaries. Yet, like most, it is a charity: it pays a fraction of ordinary business rates and no VAT. Fettes receives an estimated £1m a year in direct subsidy from the Ministry of Defence, which still pays for much of the education of armed forces officers’ children. Tony Blair is one Fettes alumnus: Verkaik thinks it significant that his administration backed off from years of Labour pledges to sort out the absurd tax advantages the private school business enjoys.
How do we sort this out? Even a Jeremy Corbyn administration will be wary of the best-connected lobby groups in Britain (and of course Corbyn, shadow chancellor John McDonnell and Momentum founder Jon Lansman all did time at various Hogwarts). Besides, with 30% of students from abroad, the public schools are now a significant export industry. In Scotland the SNP, however, has promised to act on the exemption from business rates.
Verkaik’s solution is “slow and peaceful euthanasia”. He would suffocate the schools. Since they cater to just 7% of the population, let quotas be set, so that from their ranks come just 7% of judges (instead of 74%), 7% of senior forces officers (instead of 71%) and so on. Newspapers such as this (the British media is 50% private school-educated) will have to take the same medicine.
My money says private schools will survive: since the second world war successive governments have failed to curtail them in any significant way. As it happens, the departure of Boris Johnson means a Conservative cabinet without a son of Eton for the first time since the 1830s. But that won’t go on long – there are 20 Old Etonian MPs, all Tories. As an Eton school song has it: “Floreat Etona, Floreat, Florebit”. May Eton flourish; she will flourish.

It is extraordinary to realise that England’s political parties, governments, judicial chambers, boardrooms, officers messes and media editorial conferences are dominated by the survivors of institutionalised abuse.
Somehow, a ruling class normalised sending their children away at a very young age – eight or less – to heartless fee-charging boarding schools where violence and neglect were not just tolerated but encouraged, where flogging, poor food and licensed bullying were the norm, and paedophilia rife.
While there the children learned to consider themselves a people apart. They learned a necessary detachment, the English stiff upper lip, and “snobbery, fine delineations of caste and wealth helped to develop the acutely tuned sense that enables the British to collect themselves in their tribes and classes and exclude those not like themselves,” writes journalist (ex Ashdown and Eton) Alex Renton.
“Hundreds and hundreds of emails, they still come in three years later,” he says. “They led me to realise this phenomenon as in any child care institution was hugely prevalent, that the fact of putting children quite young into institutions where they would be without hugs and love was and had been a magnet for men who want to prey on children, and had been since the 19th century, and this had been tolerated by our class.”
Two weeks ago he had the “fantastic experience” of sitting in a courtroom in Brighton watching his science teacher from his final year at prep school hear what he had done to his pupils, then be sentenced to 12 years’ prison.
The story was overshadowed by the Westminster terror attack – which meant the Sun didn’t get to run its planned headline, “Queen’s nephew taught by paedophile”.
On the teaching side, Renton writes that “This was an industry with a culture of employing paedophiles and sadists.”
“There are many accounts of beatings at Eton and other public schools … the practice was often stunningly brutal,” Renton wrote.
Sexual bullying was as common as bullying itself. George Monbiot wrote of his prep school in the 1970s that “sexual assault was … a feature of prep school life as innate as fried bread and British bulldogs”.
Many of those who wrote to Renton reported rapes of boys by older pupils, and abuse by teachers. When he compared notes with another reporter, they figured that every public school in the country had harboured criminal sexual abusers among the teaching staff.
Is the revelation that Clement Freud was a paedophile and the vast amount of evidence (do your research) against a plethora of other high ranking establishment figures enough to convince the most sceptical amongst us that the elite in Britain are a very sick and twisted bunch indeed?
If you do choose to delve into this murky and disturbing world you will find out that child abusers are deliberately put into positions of authority, given free reign to carry out their sick, evil predilections, filmed and photographed while they do it, which makes them eminently easy to blackmail and thus steer policy.
Savile was untouchable in life because his job was supplying these elite kiddy fiddlers with children to abuse!

Nick Hurd (Conservative), who voted against it, has a demonstrable relationship toJeffrey Epstein, a billionaire child abuser from the USA who is at the the heart of an ongoing child sex abuse scandal implicating Prince Andrew.
Epstein has been on the sex offenders register since 2008 after serving thirteen months of an eighteen month sentence for soliciting an underage girl for prostitution, and is currently facing allegations that he recruited a 15-year-old girl to act as a sex slave on a private jet for his friend and client, Prince Andrew.

Hurd, the Conservative incumbent for the Ruislip, Northwood & Pinner constituency, gave his work, home and personaltelephone numbers to Epstein, according to American court documents. The document in question, Epstein’s phonebook, was released after Epstein vs Edwards (2009), a case in which Epstein was sued for the defamation of a prominent human rights attorney who works as an advocate for child sex abuse victims.
Epstein’s phonebook contains the contact details of Hurd, including access to both of his homes and his personal email address.
The phonebook also revealed that Epstein had a direct line to Tony Blair and Scotland Yard.
The amendment to the Official Secrets Act (OSA) was proposed by John Mann MP (Labour) as part of the Serious Crime Bill. Its aim was to insert a clause into the OSA that would create a defence against charges of breaking the OSA which, in Mann’s words, “would have given immunity from prosecution only in relation to historical incidences of child abuse.”
Mann added that “It was very clear, targeted and concise”, and claimed that “it would not have undermined the official secrets act.”
Before her death, Sian, the wife of diplomat Thomas Hurd and daughter-in-law of the former home and foreign secretary, Douglas Hurd, had been an active campaigner for the charity, Women for Women International.
“Sian was part of a group of women who managed to get a UN resolution passed to have violence against women in conflict zones recognised as an official war crime,” says Aubrey. “Her husband, Tom, had worked for the Foreign Office so she had been to lots of different countries with him and been horrified by the treatment of women in war zones – the way that rape, for example, was used against them as a weapon.
“She started campaigning first for the women of the Sudan, but that broadened out to include so many other places in the world where women are beaten and mutilated, intimidated and subjected to sexual violence. She was heavily involved each year in V-Day
Catherine Hurd, a mother of five, fell the four storeys from the top of the rented townhouse in Manhattan where she lived with the former foreign secretary’s son Thomas, a British diplomat.
Mrs Hurd, 46, left no note but New York police are believed to be treating the case as a suicide. “All we can say is that no criminality is suspected,” a spokesman told The Daily Telegraph.
Officers were asking neighbours over the weekend whether they had heard anything from the couple’s home in the hours before the death. One said yesterday she had heard “voices around midnight”.
It is thought Mrs Hurd, who told neighbours she taught English at an international school, was due to return to London next week. Her husband is at the end of a stint working as a senior British official at the UN, where he is described as a “political counsellor”.
Mrs Hurd was discovered at 4.27am on Saturday morning, outside her home. Police had arrived at the building, on the upper east-side, after receiving an emergency call.
Mrs Rooney saw Mrs Hurd earlier on the day she died. “We were having a street sale and she’d already given lots of books because they were moving to England. She stopped and told Susan: ‘I have more books for you’. She seemed happy as ever,” he said.
Mr Rooney said Mrs Hurd was a “very nice, very pretty lady,” who had lived next door for about six months. “We hardly ever saw Thomas, we assumed because he worked hard,” he said.
Another neighbour, who did not give his name, said: “We’d been meaning to organise a playdate for all our kids. It’s unimaginable.” Some of the couple’s five children are at school in England, the neighbour said, and only visited New York occasionally.
Mr Hurd is a former investment banker and was a contemporary of David Cameron’s at Eton and Oxford, where he was two years ahead of the Prime Minister.
He read Arabic and Modern Middle Eastern studies at Oxford between 1983 and 1987 and worked for Credit Suisse First Boston before joining the Foreign Office in 1992.
For the past few years he has been in New York, where he is listed as working for the British delegation on the UN security council, specialising in the middle east, G20 and Africa.
On his page on LinkedIn, a business networking site, he says he is “personally keen on studying the interaction between business and geopolitics”.
His father was one of the Conservative government’s most senior figures in the 1980s and 1990s. He served both Lady Thatcher and John Major as foreign secretary, after also serving as home secretary.
Lord Hurd has three sons from his marriage Tatiana Hurd, including Thomas and Nick Hurd, the Conservative MP for Ruislip, Northwood and Pinner. He also has a son and a daughter from his second marriage to Judy Hurd, who died in 2008.
A spokesman for the Foreign Office said: “We can not comment on the personal circumstances of any of our staff.”

Meanwhile, in New Zealand, there have been such newspaper headlines as, “‘Uncle Dickie’ the Sex Pervert” (N.Z. Truth, Sept. 8, 1987), since Mountbatten’s former chauffeur, Norman Nield, started revealing details of the late Lord Mountbatten’s alleged sexual exploitation of boys.
Paedophile Lord Louis Mountbatten

Lord Louis was a great grandson of Queen Victoria and the uncle of Prince Philip (consort of Queen Elizabeth II). Mountbatten was also a promiscuous bisexual who was famously rumored to have had an affair with Edward VIII (who was Prince of Wales at the time) when he accompanied him on his Empire tours (see photo above).
The Queen. Like any human being, she is subject to the influence of those around her. While he lived, Lord Mountbatten was a persuasive counsellor, and he formulated the plan for Prince Charles’s unusually rigorous education.
On Feb. 2 , in London’ s Old Bailey court, four men were convicted for running a ring of pedophiles-adults who sex usually use children-which had recruited at least 150 young boys , some as young as nine, for repeated sodomic abuse.
It is the biggest ring of pedophiles yet uncovered in Britain.
British newspapers Feb. 3 said it had been run as a “Mafia like conspiracy. ” One man arrested was too frightened to testify, declaring that the ring was “more powerful than the Mafia. “
According to experts on child abuse in Britain, this case is only the beginning. Interviewed on British television Feb. 3 , Dianne Core, head of the Childwatch organization, stated that “people in high places” were involved in pedophiliac activities , and that the whole matter would “explode” during the coming months.
The London Daily Telegraph’s crime correspondent reported Feb. 3 : “Despite the convictions , police believe there is still a flourishing pedophile network in Britain, with a sophistication said to resemble the Mafia. “
The most prominent figure in the ring, Colin Peters, was trained at Oxford, and was formerly a senior adviser in the British Foreign Office. Following his Foreign Office work, he prosecuted cases for the British Customs and Excise.
Investigators working on the case had interrogated at least one senior member of the House of Lords , one vicar in West London, and officials in Whitehall , “but the police did not have sufficient evidence or manpower to pursue their suspicions ,” the Telegraph reported.
Alan Delaney, the official head of the ring, is a cleaning company director. Delaney would procure young boys for pedophiles , by putting job advertisements in the press .
The ring would also procure boys who were members of a junior soccer team.
Many of the youngsters had been at special boarding schools for educationally below-normal children.
Others were runaways , who were caught up by members of the Delaney-Peters ring, who would roam” the streets of London scouting for boys .
According to the Feb. 3 Telegraph account, the young boys were “passed around its members for sexual degradation and, when the attraction faded, abandoned to a life of prostitution, drugs , and petty crime . . . . The boys were tempted off the unfamiliar London streets with promises of food, accommodation, money, and a sympathetic ear. Some were plied with drugs, including cocaine, and sexually assaulted while under their influence.”
When he was brought before presiding Judge Pownall for sentencing Feb. 3, Colin Peters was told: “On your own admission, you found boys to satisfy your lust. You were prepared to encourage them to drugs or to lace their drinks and you have made matters worse by trying to get witnesses not to attend court. You did that to save your own skin. That was disgraceful. You of all people should have known that. “
‘A permanent conspiracy’ British deputy police superintendent John Lewis , who oversaw the investigations , is calling on Scotland Yard to create a special squad to deal with pedophile rings. Lewis declared Feb. 2 that “these people are as organized and sophisticated as any other criminals, and are involved in a permanent conspiracy which is renewed daily as they hunt for new boys. They need to be targeted like bank robbers. It
is important that we should not feel complacent. Positive policing should be continued.”
British police investigators were reportedly angered by the light sentence meted out to Peters , Delaney, and their two collaborators. The four received, in total, only 34 years of sentences. Peters received only 8 years, for combined charges of conspiracy to commit buggery (sodomy), buggery and conspiracy to pervert the course of justice. Delaney was jailed for 1 1 years , on conspiracy to commit buggery, indecent assault, taking indecent photographs , indecency with a child, and attempted buggery. One of the four was given only 6 years.
A senior British police officer told the Daily Express Feb.
4: “It should have been more. The damage these people have
done to young lives is very severe.”
In an editorial entitled, “Is This Justice?” the Express Feb. 4 called the sentences “woefully inadequate . . . weighed against the enormity of their crimes and the emotional and physical damage they did to their victims , some of whom were only nine years old. “
Moncini and the Satanist track
The London case has refocused attention on another recent case, in Trieste, Italy, involving one Alessandro Moncini, a businessman nabbed by law enforcement in the United States and convicted in 1988 for importing child pornography (although he received a paltry one-year sentence and was released “on good behavior” after serving less than three months in jail).
Investigators in Trieste working on the Moncini case have recently been to the United States, attempting to accumulate more information on what they believe to be a “most exclusive ring of international pedophiles.”
Informed sources in Britain believe that the Delaney Peters ring and the Moncini-linked networks are connected,
and that both are part of an international pedophile conspiracy.
U. S. law enforcement officials have in their possession tapes of Moncini attempting to procure a young girl, for Satanic-ritual abuse purposes.
Experts on ritual abuse stress that pedophile rings , as horrifying as they are in and of them selves , are actually fronts for, or extensions of, hard-core Satanist cults , for whom the pedophiles provide young boys.
In Britain, however, the Home Office has repeatedly indicated its opposition to allowing the matter of satanism to be pursued by police and in the courts.
Should this attitude continue, it will be impossible to crack the command-structure controlling powerful pedophile rings.
Investigative leads
Experts in pedophilia and Satanism report to EIR, that
that the dossiers on previously publicized cases of European
based pedophile rings have never been fully closed, and may
now be reopened. These involve pedophile rings that were
either cracked or exposed in the 1 986-87 period. Three of
them are worth noting:
• On June 1 8, 1987, the head of the Belgian national office of UNICEF was arrested for involvement in a large scale child pornography and pedophilia ring. Ring leader Jozef Verbeeck had used his influential position in UNICEF to procure children, often from broken homes, some as young as eight months old, for some 400 wealthy clients across Europe. The basement of UNICEF in Brussels was used to store pornographic pictures of children.
• In spring-summer 1987, Dutch authorities uncovered
one of the worst cases of collective child sex abuse in record
ed history. In a small town called Oode Pekala, during the
Easter holidays , a gang of pedophiles , dressed as clowns,
lured more than 70 children into taking part in pornographic
movies.
• On Aug. 3, 1986, the Sunday Times of London “Insight Team” exposed the activities of a secretive organization called the Spartacus Club, based near Amsterdam in Holland, which sent pedophile literature to 25 ,000 subscribers in Great Britain, and which specialized in procuring boys from the Philippines for pedophile activity. Headed by one John Stamford, the club was part of Spartacus International, which published homosexual literature and the Paedo Alert News, “a magazine about boy love. “
Elite members of PIE – Sir Peter Hayman and Charles Napier
Charles Napier related to fellow paedophile in MI6
Former schoolteacher Charles Napier today entered guilty pleas to more than twenty paedophile offences, admitting abuse of 21 boys under 16 between September 1967 and April 1972. For most of this period he was teaching at Copthorne Prep School in Sussex.
Charles Scott Napier was born into the very heart of the British Empire’s military and intelligence establishment. Ironically at the time of his paedophile offences one of Napier’s distant cousins was married to Sir Peter Hayman, a senior MI6 officer who was later himself exposed as a paedophile though never prosecuted. (Further information about Sir Peter’s MI6 career will be published here later this week.)
The Napier and Hayman families had a long record of imperial service at the highest level. As was common in such circles, many members of the family were senior Freemasons: Sir Peter’s grandfather Canon Henry Hayman was Provincial Grand Master of Nottinghamshire and a Past Grand Chaplain of England; while Charles Napier’s ancestors included a Grand Master Mason of Scotland.
The paedophile schoolmaster’s father Alexander Napier served in the Indian Political Service of the crumbling British Raj, stationed at the strategically vital port of Khorramshahr on Iran’s border with Iraq, until the Empire was forced to abandon the area during the Abadan crisis of 1951. MI6 officers then planned the overthrow of Iran’s prime minister Mohammed Mossadegh in 1953 – Alexander Napier died a year later aged only 49.
Charles Napier’s parents were cousins: his maternal grandfather Brigadier Arthur Napier had top level intelligence connections as military adviser to the Ministry of Supply. During the winter of 1943-44 he was sent to Washington for secret discussions with the American government about German rocket developments and the potential threat of germ warfare.
The future paedophile was named after his father’s brother Charles Scott Napier, who had played an important planning role in the D-Day landings as chief of movements and transportation at Allied Headquarters, before dying aged only 47, a year before his namesake’s birth.
Former MI6 deputy director Sir Peter Hayman was married to Charles Napier’s cousin
Present enquiries into paedophile cover-ups are likely to examine how Charles Napier managed to continue teaching even after his first conviction for indecent assault in 1972. He was banned from teaching in the UK, but emigrated and by the late 1970s (already an active member of the Paedophile Information Exchange) was employed at a school in Sweden.
Around the same time that Napier emigrated, his cousin’s husband – fellow paedophile Sir Peter Hayman – had returned from a stint as High Commissioner in Canada to become deputy director of MI6.
Incredibly Napier later became an assistant head of studies with the British Council in Cairo, and then taught in Istanbul. A police raid on the home of fellow PIE activist Peter Righton in 1992 led police to Napier, who was convicted in 1995 of abusing a 14-year-old boy a decade earlier.
Sir Peter Hayman had died three years before Napier’s second conviction. The former MI6 officer was never convicted of paedophile offences, though his diaries recording sexual fantasies about children featured in the 1981 trial of PIE founder Tom O’Carroll, and Sir Peter’s identity was disclosed in the House of Commons in March 1981 by Tory MP Geoffrey Dickens.
In 1984 Sir Peter was fined £100 after being convicted of an act of gross indecency with a lorry driver in a Reading public lavatory.
After democracy finally shunted aside hereditary lords, they found new means to protect their extravagant riches. For all the modern tales of noble poverty and leaking ancestral homes, their private wealth and influence remain phenomenal
Behind the beauty of the British aristocracy’s stately homes and the sometimes romantic and eventful lives they led, lies a darker story: a legacy of theft, violence and unrepentant greed.
Historically, the British aristocracy’s defining feature was not a noble aspiration to serve the common weal but a desperate desire for self-advancement. They stole land under the pretence of piety in the early middle ages, they seized it by conquest, they expropriated it from the monasteries and they enclosed it for their private use under the pretence of efficiency. They grasped wealth, corruptly carved out their niche at the pinnacle of society and held on to it with a vice-like grip. They endlessly reinforced their own status and enforced deference on others through ostentatiously exorbitant expenditure on palaces, clothing and jewellery. They laid down a strict set of rules for the rest of society, but lived by a different standard.
Such was their sense of entitlement that they believed – and persuaded others to believe – that a hierarchical society with them placed firmly and unassailably at the top was the natural order of things. Even to suggest otherwise, they implied, was to shake the foundations of morality.
They were shocked and angered when others sought to deprive or degrade them. They clung tenaciously to their position. They developed ever more specious arguments to defend their privileges. They eulogised themselves and built great temples to their greatness. They jealously guarded access to their hallowed halls. And when democracy finally and rudely shunted them aside, they found new means of preserving their extravagant riches without the tedium of pretending they sought the common interest. Far from dying away, they remain very much alive.
Little has changed since 1925, when the journalist WB Northrop published a postcard portraying the octopus of “landlordism” with its tentacles spread across London, charging the aristocracy with pauperising the peasantry, paralysing the building trade and sucking the lifeblood of the people.
Some newspapers would have us believe there was no paedophilia connected to Westminster. I beg to differ. Ask Charles Napier, who boasted of his connections that enabled him to import images of CSA in diplomatic bags…

The pervert met regularly with MPs Leon Brittan and Cyril Smith at his world-renowned workshop. The former Liberal leader Jeremy Thorpe would also drop by along with key members of the vile Paedophile Information Exchange Steven Adrian Smith and Tom O’Carroll. A PIE list seized in 1984 records Harding, who died from cancer last year aged 82, as member 329 and his address as Hornsey Road, Holloway, north London.He is understood to have kept hidden a list of more than 1,000 PIE members with prominent names including top politicians from the Thatcher era.
One of his staff, who worked for him between 1980 and 1987, said: “Leon Brittan and Cyril Smith were both regular visitors to the shop. Usually they would come in via the side door, other times they would ring the bell at the front entrance and come in.“They’d straight away ask for Keith who would be coming down the stairs.“Then they would then either go up to his office for a private meeting or they’d go out for several hours.”The former worker added: “The shop had many high profile customers, including the Royals, because we were one of the few antique dealers in the world that specialised in restoring clocks, music boxes and automatons.“It’s only now, with what I know about Brittan and Smith, and of course Keith, that has made me wonder what they were doing. Jeremy Thorpe too was an occasional visitor.” Harding was given the Freedom of the City of London and made a member of the Worshipful Company of Clockmakers.He moved to Gloucester in 1987 after PIE disbanded, setting up Keith Harding’s World of Mechanical Music, a museum in Northleach, near Cheltenham.He was exposed as a member of PIE last November when footage emerged of him appearing alongside Jimmy Savile on a Christmas special of Jim’ll Fix It. It later transpired that he had been convicted of indecent assault against four children aged eight and nine in 1958 when he was a teacher. I have made my own tradition of sending Prince Charles greetings on his birthday. November 14 is here again, and I haven’t yet got Chas a present. This year he is 64 and still hasn’t got a proper job.
Usually I churn out an article along the lines of “Happy birthday, Sir, and long may you prosper at our expense!” This year there is a new development. An old pal, nay “mentor” indeed! of HRH is attracting a lot of posthumous interest. One Jimmy Savile is a hot topic of conversation with the British public and establishment.
Savile, a former Yorkshire miner, ballroom manager, wrestler and disc jockey is rocking the British establishment with tremors being felt in the BBC, National Health Service (NHS), the press, police, Crown Prosecution Service, academia, charities, toffs clubs and even the monarchy. From his humble origins, Savile rose to become a knight of the realm, Knight Commander of St Gregory the Great , a member of the exclusive Athenaeum club, an advisor to Israeli governments, a confidant of popes, princes and prime ministers.
Charlie’s pal Jim used this power-base to rape and molest children, some of them sick or disabled, one with brain damage. It appears he used the premises of the BBC and the NHS to carry out his nefarious deeds.
The Drivelling Dauphin counted Jimmy Savile as a friend.
Prince Charles led tributes to Savile on the national treasure’s death a year ago. Savile was a frequent visitor to Buckingham Palace, Kensington Palace and Highgrove (Prince Charles’ estate). Charles sent a Christmas card saying: “Jimmy, with affectionate greetings from Charles. Give my love to your ladies in Scotland”. Princess Diana described Savile as a “sort of mentor to Charles”. Dickie Arbiter, who handled media relations for the Prince and Princess of Wales while spokesman for the Queen between 1988 and 2000, said that when Savile visited St James’s Palace he used to rub his lips up the arms of Prince Charles’s young female assistants as a greeting. Arbiter said he thought the women might have thought Savile’s greeting was “rather funny”, but he said it was a cause for concern and he struggled to understand why Savile was granted such access to the royal family. “I looked on him as a court jester and told him so,” said Arbiter. “I remember calling him an old reprobate and he said ‘not so much of the old’.”
I wonder if Chas’s thoughts will stray to his machang Jim on his birthday. Anyways, Chas won’t be short of a bob or two to take his mind off things.

Chuck wears handmade shoes that cost £650 a pair. Turnbull & Asser make his shirts and also, from 2006, his made-to-measure suits, which cost up to £2,500. Previously, Savile (no relation to Jimmy) Row tailors Anderson & Sheppard handmade his suits, at £4,000 a pop. This should set an example of frugality to all of us in this age of austerity – time for us all to cut our clothing expenses. As Thoreau so wisely wrote: “beware of any enterprise that requires the purchase of new clothes”.

For his 60th he was photographed in his birthday suit, the ceremonial uniform of the Welsh Guards. Being a prince gives the chance to dress up and play-act (this runs in the family – his son Harry got a lot of unfavourable publicity dressing up as a Nazi). Charles is often snapped festooned with medals! He must be a very brave man. Being a royal is like being in a big play-pen.
The palace is keen to portray itself as an institution which is sharing the pain in these austere times. In July 2012 the palace claimed that expenditure had fallen by 26% in real terms from a level of £36.5m three years ago. Last year did see a fall in the Civil List, most of which pays wages, but royal travel and upkeep of residences rose. The published accounts do not show the cost of security for the Royal Family. When the Queen’s granddaughter Zara Phillips got married, the wedding cost Scottish police £400,000.
BBC royal correspondent Peter Hunt said: “The price of royal travel is what tends to excite attention year in, year out.” The royal travel bill for 2011 was £6.1m. A Prince Andrew charter flight to Saudi Arabia cost £81,000; a Prince Charles royal train journey was £38,016.
Charles came to Sri Lanka in 2005 to help out after the tsunami. He visited Batticaloa but floundered helplessly. “I feel awful. All I have done is interrupt their very hard work. You’ve got a lot more to do when I’m gone,” he told the volunteers. That trip by Prince Charles to Sri Lanka cost British taxpayers £300,000. We took food and supplies to Hambantota in our car and it didn’t cost nearly as much as that. How much parippu can you buy for £300,000?
Sharing the pain should not mean stealing from the poor. The Independent newspaper revealed documents that showed the Queen had tried to claim for Buckingham Palace gas and electricity bills from funds set aside for energy-saving grants aimed at families on low incomes.
The Queen’s loyal armed forces seem to have been particularly badly treated by governments during the misguided adventures in Iraq and Afghanistan. All the royal family have a fetish for dressing up in military uniforms and pretending to be soldiers or sailors. This is supposed to convey a solidarity with the armed forces. Does it make any more sense than Bush dressing up as a pilot off the coast at San Diego to prematurely proclaim “Mission accomplished” for the invasion of Iraq? I wonder if the royal family expressed their solidarity with the British armed forces by trying to persuade Her Majesty’s Government to give them a better deal in terms of equipment, homes and pensions and to treat them with the respect that they deserve.
There have been calls for the UK Government to strip Jimmy Savile of the British knighthood he was awarded in 1990. I wonder what the birthday boy thinks.

One such is Peter Morrison, formerly the MP for Chester and the deputy chairman of the Conservative Party. Ten years ago, Chris House, the veteran crime reporter for the Sunday Mirror, twice received tip-offs from police officers who said that Morrison had been caught cottaging in public toilets with under aged boys and had been released with a caution. A less powerful man, the officers complained, would have been charged with gross indecency or an offence against children. At the time, Chris House confronted Morrison, who used libel laws to block publication of the story. Now, Morrison is dead and cannot sue. Police … confirmed that he had been picked up twice and never brought to trial. They added that there appeared to be no trace of either incident in any of the official records”
Edwina Currie, former health minister and mistress of John Major, quoted from her diary in her published autobiography: “One appointment in the recent reshuffle has attracted a lot of gossip and could be very dangerous: Peter Morrison has become the PM’s PPS. A blogger writes: “My family live in Northern Ireland and in the 1970’s they had heard rumours about a certain leader’s activities with boys. They had also heard about an actor, now dead, and recently linked to the Haute Garenne stories. If these stories reached the west of Northern Ireland in the 1970’s then surely a lot more was talked about in England. So, how high up in the police, judicial system and parliament were the people who quashed any attempt at justice? Did they get paid for their help, or just a share in the paedophile pot?”[xviii]
In 1980, three members of staff at the Kincora Boys home in Northern Ireland were jailed for offences relating to the systematic abuse of children in their care over a number of years. It was alleged by satirical magazine Private Eye that high-ranking members of the Whitehall civil service and senior officers of the UK military were involved in the sexual abuse of boys in Kincora. One person alleged to have visited Kincora is British prime minister Edward Heath. Another is Jimmy Savile. Another is Lord Mountbatten. Heath is also alleged to have visited Haute la Garenne[xix]. Jimmy Savile claimed he had never been there but there is photographic evidence placing him there.[xx]
Heath came under suspicion purely because he never married.
A typical comment from the blogpond, on the Before It’s News website: “He [Savile] was said by Gordon Logan, ex-MI6 spy, to be procuring children for Edward Heath to abuse”. [xxi] Here is another: “The ex-British Prime Minister, Edward Heath was a paedophile. I can write this with no fear of libel action; you cannot libel the dead. It has been reported that Heath (British Prime Minister 1970-74) was known to rent boys in London, would hang around public toilets and had been warned by the Special Branch and Metropolitan Police that his actions would risk his political standing… They were both associated with Haut de la Garenne[xxii] on Jersey, the boys’ home at the centre of a horrific paedophile scandal. Savile reportedly provided boys to Heath, who would take them for a sail on his yacht, where, it’s been alleged, sexual acts on the boys would take place by Heath.”[xxiii]

DJ David Hamilton told how Savile made a beeline for the Countess of Wessex when she was a young PR at London’s Capital Radio. Prince Edward’s wife-to-be, Sophie Rhys-Jones greeted Savile with a bottle of champagne as he joined Capital Gold in 1990. The wind blew her skirt up. Savile leered at her legs, pawed at her side and attempted to shower her with kisses. Hamilton reported: “Sophie stormed off and said: ‘I refuse to have anything to do with that revolting man.’”

Dan Davies writes about the Duncroft home in his unpublished book about Savile:
“Many of the 25 or so girls in its care at any one time came from comfortable backgrounds and included the daughters of ambassadors and BBC producers. As a Home Office-approved school, funding came from Social Services. Regular guests at their parties included the actor James Robertson Justice, who was one of Britain’s leading film stars in the 1940s and 1950s and reportedly a close friend of the Duke of Edinburgh. Princesses Marina and Alexandra are said to have attended. Among the former Duncroft girls to have come forward, one has said she was put in the isolation unit for ‘two or three days’ after loudly protesting when Savile groped her in a caravan on the school grounds. ‘For years we tried to report him,’ another confided to me. ‘We even had a mass breakout to Staines police station.’

A notorious paedophile and former society photographer who raped his own daughter has left £400,000 in his will to the Girl Guides.
And Guides leaders are now grappling with the dilemma of whether to accept the “toxic” bequest from disgraced Reginald Forester-Smith – or return the cash to his estate.
Wealthy Forester-Smith, who died last July aged 77, made his name in the 1970s snapping the likes of racing driver Sir Jackie Stewart and The Queen.
Then in 1999 he was jailed for eight years for sexually abusing three girls over nearly two decades. One of them was his own daughter Tori. She bravely waived her anonymity after Forester-Smith’s trial at the High Court in Edinburgh, writing a book in which she told of his abuse.
A relative said of his will: “This is a toxic bequest from a man who has been tried and convicted of abusing his daughter. To leave it to the Girl Guides is nothing but a sick gesture.”
Forester-Smith’s wife Sheena, who died in 2001, was a keen supporter of the Guides and Brownies, allowing the organisation to use the family’s estate near Annan, Dumfriesshire, for summer camps.
In the will the bequest is made “on behalf of the memory and in celebration of the life of my late wife Sheena”.
A spokesman for the Guides said: “The matter is in the hands of the executors. As such it would be inappropriate for us to comment.”
Two other charities – MacMillan Cancer Support and Cancer Research – were left £312,291 each. Both have yet to decide if they will accept the money.
Rapist pays for 18-year span of abuse Photographer jailed
A FORMER society photographer was jailed for eight years yesterday for a catalogue of sexual abuse, including rape.
Some of the offences involved young girls, one only five.
Reginald Forester Smith, 67, appeared for sentence yesterday close to the building where one of his portrayals of a former Lord Justice General hangs on the walls.
Forester Smith was convicted by a jury of sexual offences carried out at addresses in Edinburgh, West Calder, at stables in the Borders and at his present home, Luce House, Brydekirk, Annan, in Dumfriesshire.
The offences began in 1967 and carried on until 1985.
Lord Kingarth was told at the High Court in Edinburgh that the accused’s first victim was only nine when he first took advantage of her. He took indecent photographs of her, simulated sexual intercourse, carried out various sex acts and blindfolded her. He was also convicted of raping her.
Forester Smith also took indecent photographs of his second victim, who was just six when he first preyed upon her.
The third victim was five years old when he began molesting her at his home in Annan.
He was also convicted of the offence of clandestine injury at a house in Edinburgh where he had sexual intercourse with a sleeping woman without her consent while she was under the influence of alcohol.
A further conviction involved indecent behaviour towards a 15-year-old girl by touching her breasts at riding stables in the
Borders.
Mr Robert Henderson, QC, defence counsel, told the court that Forester Smith had an excellent working record for many years, starting with very little and progressing through his own efforts.
He developed a photographic business and Mr Henderson said that one of his portraits of the late Lord Clyde (the former Lord President of the Court of Session and Lord Justice-General) was housed within the premises of the Faculty of Advocates in the High Street in Edinburgh.
Forester Smith had gone on to develop another business making and supplying recovery vehicles and had moved to Luce House, a very substantial property in its own grounds.
Mr Henderson pointed out that the charges on which his client had been convicted were extremely old and added: ”He has in effect led a completely blameless life and been a useful member of the community for the last 14 years.
”These offences are very much in the past and there is no current record at all of any improper conduct on his part.”
Mr Henderson added: ”His life is clearly now in ruins.”
Lord Kingarth said that he took into account the fact that Forester Smith appeared in court as a first offender after a hard-working and successful business life.
The judge added: ”Although it seems you yourself apparently have little insight into the harm that you have caused to the victims, these are offences which this court has to take seriously.”
Last month evidence came to light which suggests Sir Nicholas may have visited the Elm Guest House which serial abuser Cyril Smith attended. The property in Barnes, south-west London, is the focus of a Scotland Yard investigation into an alleged Establishment paedophile ring in the 1980s.
Now, Miss Henderson, 48, has told how she was raped as a young child by Sir Nicholas – and that she also suffered years of sexual assaults by her late father, prominent Scottish QC Robert Henderson, who was a friend of the MP.
Speaking in the Daily Mail she said of Sir Nicholas: “I hated that man. More than I hated my father. He just really wasn’t a nice man.
“I want it acknowledged that my father and Fairbairn did something very evil. Not just to me. There are other children out there.”
She told how, as a five-year-old, she would arrange her dolls around her bed in a bid to stop the abuse.
She said: “I put them there thinking that, when my father came for me in the night, he wouldn’t know it was me and he would take one of my dolls instead. But he never did.”
Miss Henderson first made her allegations against Sir Nicholas – famous for his outspoken views, frock-coat suits and tartan trousers – and her father under the alias of ‘Julie X’ in 2000 but an initial police investigation did not lead to any charges.
Miss Henderson, who lives near Inverness, claimed Sir Nicholas raped her when she was in bed with him and ‘another guy’ in a guest room on the top floor of her five-storey family home.
She says she was just four or five years old at the time, and remembers the pungent smell of his feet.
Last month broadcaster Esther Rantzen spoke of her revulsion after learning Sir Nicholas, with whom she had an affair after they met in a BBC studio in 1966, had been implicated in the Westminster child abuse scandal.
Miss Henderson, speaking publicly after Sir Nicholas was linked to the guest house, said: “I knew this would come out.
“I’m only surprised it has taken so long. I told the police about him in 2000, I told them what Fairbairn was. But they just wanted me to go away.”
Miss Henderson now works in social care and has a grown-up son.
She said: “It’s really only in my 40s that I’ve started living my life. I have good days and I have bad days. It will never go away and I get horrendous nightmares at times but, because my father is dead now, I’m not as scared as I used to be.”
Miss Henderson was born in 1966. Her father and his first wife, her mother, lived in a five-storey Georgian townhouse in Edinburgh’s New Town.
She claims Henderson beat his wife and young Susie was regularly belted.
She believes her father started abusing her around the age of three and sexually abused her repeatedly until she was eight years old.
She said: “He would say to my Mum when he came back from the pub, “I’ll take Susie for a nap.” And that was when he’d do it. He always put a pillow over my head. Another time in the bath he abused me and put my head under the water.”
Speaking about the first time Fairbairn abused her at one of her father’s parties, Miss Henderson said: “We were in the kitchen. I was maybe four years old. I had a skirt on and Nicholas and my Dad had been drinking, and my Dad told me to sit on Nicholas’s knee. I sat on his knee and he put his hand up my skirt and abused me. My Dad just stood there laughing.”
She remembers another incident involving Fairbairn: “The house was five floors and the top floor was where the guests used to stay. I was in bed in the guest room with Fairbairn and another guy.”
She alleges that on this occasion Fairbairn raped her. She was just four or five years old.
Last month, Fairbairn was named as one of those believed to have visited the notorious Elm Guest House in London. A handwritten list of visitors to the guest house – which hosted parties in the 1980s where vulnerable boys were sexually assaulted after being plied with alcohol – states that a number of politicians including ‘N Fairburn’ and ‘C Smith’ – visited the property on June 7, 1982.
‘C Smith’ is believed to be Cyril Smith, the Liberal MP who has been exposed as a serial paedophile and who police have confirmed was a regular visitor to the brothel.
The documents also state that ‘Fairburn’ had ‘used boys in sauna’ and that photographs had been taken of him at the guest house. Despite the spelling discrepancy over Fairbairn/Fairburn, there have now been calls for a full investigation to establish whether or not Fairbairn was involved.
In 2000, having agreed to speak anonymously about her experiences to Sandra Brown, author of a book about child abuse called Where There is Evil, she found her story was not believed. Senior Tories rallied to Fairbairn’s defence, describing her allegations as ‘absolute rubbish’.
Sir Nicholas’s daughter Charlotte, 50, has told the Mail newspaper she “hoped” the allegations about her father were untrue.
She said: “I don’t really want to know anything about it, I would be very surprised by that, but he is dead. He’s not here to defend himself.
“It would sound hollow if I said, ‘He’s innocent’. I don’t know, though I completely and utterly doubt it. It’s all such a long time ago. I hope it’s not true.”

Police investigating an alleged paedophile ring at Windsor Castle have arrested a second soldier from the Queen’s elite Household Cavalry.
Detectives raided the home of Lance Corporal Mark Neal, 28, on the Broom Farm Estate, Windsor, yards from the home of child rape suspect Lance Corporal of Horse Simon Davies.
Neal, who has guarded the Queen and was decorated for his service in Afghanistan, was away on exercise 90 miles away at a tank training range in Bovington, Dorset.
Detectives have questioned him on suspicion of conspiracy to sexually assault a child and possessing indecent images, the Sun reported.
Neal’s arrest comes just a week after his colleague Davies, 37, who lives just 100 yards away on the same estate, appeared in court charged with raping a pre-teen girl.
Davies’s 44-year-old wife, Fiona, appeared alongside her husband accused of aiding and abetting rape. The couple have been remanded in custody.
Police were yesterday scouring Neal’s three-bedroom house, where they were seen removing documents, photo albums and a computer. He has been bailed until September 11.
The cavalrymen were arrested after police found footage of Davies allegedly raping a young girl during a raid on a London home.
Police swooped on the house as part of an investigation into a child porn ring. It is believed the footage was being circulated online by paedophiles.
Davies was allegedly identified from the video clip by specialist officers who traced the file through various internet service providers.
Scandal at the Palace: Another soldier who guards the Queen at Windsor Castle has been arrested on suspicion of paedophile offences
Neal and Davies both served at the time that Princes William and Harry joined the household cavalry as officers.
The Household Cavalry – made up of the Blues & Royals and Life Guards – is responsible for guard duty at Windsor Castle along with mounted and gate duty at Buckingham Palace and St James’s Palace.
A cavalry officer told The Sun that the regiment was ‘in meltdown’ after the arrests.
‘This is a total nightmare,’ he said. ‘The men are feeling it dreadfully. We dearly hope this is the end of it.’

The judge admitted not all the perpetrators were in the dock and one of the defendants, David Archer, said he’d presented police with a dossier naming millionaires and titled and influential people involved in the Playland affair. There was “a tremendous cover up to protect these people,” he argued.
